121 An Infinity Times of I Do!

Jason's heart pounded against his hard chest as he heard Selina's sweet voice from the inside of his room.

"Coming," she cheerfully answered the door.

When she pushed open the door, Jason's eyes widened at the V-neck, bold bloom outlined dress she was wearing. It was pastel pink with laced details on her waist. The gown looked dazzling with glitter sparkling under the lights of the hallway. Tulle layers and floral patterns brought everything out in a lively yet elegant manner. Her hair was styled to match the dress, and the rosy tint on her lips were phenomenal.

Words were stuck at the top of his lungs as he looked at how gorgeous she was. From behind, Rosanna stood on a short chair and clapped the hair curler in her hands. Snapping out of his daze, Jason smiled. "You look stunning."

"Oh? Do I not look stunning on other days? Hehe. My mom brought a shopping bag with her when we went upstairs. She told me the size didn't fit her, so she had me try it on. We were just finished with my hair. Pretty?" She held the edges of her delicate dress and spun around a few times like always.

"Mm..You are the prettiest in this entire universe." He smiled, feeling a lump in his throat. Forcibly pushing the lump down his throat, he held out the bouquet of roses and handed it to her.

"Here, this is for you." He shyly presented the bouquet to her arms. She took a sniff and saw the fresh droplets of water on the roses.

"These are so beautiful! Match this dress so well! Thank you!!" She continued breathing in the fresh fragrance of roses.

Nervously wondering what he should say, he watched his girlfriend smiling over a bunch of roses and a simple gown. Her smile reminded him what he always had in mind whenever he arrived home with her welcoming hug. No matter how heavy his workload was, he would always try to get home to have dinner with her.

Despite the many ups and downs between them, they've never given up on each other. It took him many years to find her again. From finding someone who he had no idea about to saving her and bringing her home, they've been through many obstacles together. After passing through each hardship that rolled in their path, they ended up dating and loving each other.

What else was he waiting for? What else could he ask for? The answer was in front of him. Why wait six months when they already knew the answer to the vows?

Taking one of her hand in his, he cleared his throat. "Selina Clover, I've been searching for your whereabouts for many years. Many people around me including my parents had lost faith in me finding you. I mean, they weren't wrong since there are a lot of people living here. Every time I received reports and skimmed through them, I always thought how great it would be to find you. Unfortunately, many of these investigative cases crashed into a dead end."

Pressing his lips together, he gently fixed a strand of her hair. Then, he brought his palm against her cheek and caressed her smooth skin.

"Finally, I've found you once again. But when I did, you were stuck in a life and death situation. Still, I told myself I wouldn't let you go anymore. Because life does not have that many seven years and I've found you. I spent my time telling lame jokes to you during your coma and wondered when you would wake up from how corny they were. Unfortunately, when you opened your eyes, you've forgotten about me. About everything we've been through."

His voice rasped slightly at the thought of the flashbacks they've shared together. Letting out a soft sigh, he continued his speech. "From not knowing how to take care of a patient in a coma to learning every detail from scratch, my efforts paid off. You opened your eyes and looked at me. You healthily recovered, and I managed to trick you to stay with me. From shopping for groceries, preparing meals to watching movies at two in the morning, everything was new to both of us."

Selina's eyes blinked a few tears down her face. Jason bent his index finger and gently dried the tears away. Sucking in a deep breath, he smiled. "From being a loner who enjoyed doing everything myself, I've become someone who can't sit tight without your presence anywhere. When I come home, I want to see you smiling at me. I want to hear you tell me about your day and what you've made for dinner. I want you to nag about kitchen utensils."

"I want to clean dishes and eat our meals together. When I come home, I want to feel the warmth of your hug that melts away the stress from work. For the past months, you've taught me life can be very simple and happy. But I want to tell you that my life can only be like this because you are in it. So, Selina Clover. To ensure that no men could ever snatch you away, I don't want to be your boyfriend any longer."

Retracting his hand from her cheek, he took out the jewelry box with the rings in it. Kneeling down on one knee, he could hear a small gasp escaping her mouth. He opened the jewelry box and asked with unwavering determination sparkling in his eyes.

"Will you let me take the honor to take care of you, love you and spoil you for the rest of my life? Are you willing to take responsibility for the first kiss you stole from me many years ago? Will you let me be your cushion to hug while watching horror movies? Will you let me protect you until the day we breathe our last breaths? Will you be my wife?"

With eyes filled with happy tears, she nodded frantically. After taking a few deep breaths and calming her emotions, she repeated excitedly. "Yes! I do! An infinity times!! I do!!"

She watched as he pulled out the small ring and slid it on her ring finger. He stood up to meet her emotional gaze and spread out his fingers to let her slip his ring on. Taking the second ring out of the jewelry box, she slowly secured it on his ring finger.

"Ahh!! I'm getting married!!! Ahhh!!!" She hopped into his arms and pulled him in for a deep kiss.

Seeing the live view clearly from the room, Rosanna cheered happily with her camera facing the adorable couple. She cupped her cheeks, "So good to be young. Wooo!!!! My baby girl is getting married!!!!"

Bryan and Celinda exchanged glances at each other before giving the couple a loud shout out from below. "Hey! You haven't said your vows and sign these papers yet! At least, Selina hasn't signed it yet! You can't kiss the bride! I object!!"

Michael patted his father's shoulder and handed him a handkerchief. Eric wiped his eyes and said, "Sand got in my eyes. Ah, my daughter looks so beautiful. How could we meet for a few days, and I have to hand her over to him already?"

With a satisfied smirk on his face, Michael joined the crowd. "Yeah! You can gobble him up on your first night as newlyweds! Before that, come claim your man! Come claim each other as husband and wife first! Stop skipping steps!"

Selina stuck her tongue out to her brother. "Bleh! I am the rules! He's my hubby regardless of those papers! I reject all objections!" She hugged him close, looked up to meet his gaze and asked, "Am I right?"

Resting his forehead onto hers, he chuckled. "That's right."

"Please feed us your fulfilling dog food after we have our share of the wedding cake! I also want to have dinner! Your hubby's treat!" Everyone cheered for the couple with whistles and cheers.

Once Selina and Jason were ready, Jason walked downstairs to the living room. Meanwhile, Eric walked up and linked their arms together.

"Ready? Sweetheart?" He asked before taking the first step down the stairs.

"Yes." She said as the ceremony officially begins.
