1 Ch 1 - A world's end and A new world's beginning

========Day 0=======

I woke up abruptly. It didn't feel as if I'd slept, in fact it didn't feel like any time had passed at all yet I only felt a bit drowsy and certainly far better than yesterday.

I got out of bed and put on my clothes. I wore some light blue jeans and night black trainers with a white t-shirt and a grey overshirt as I looked in the tall mirror at myself I felt satisfied with my slim features, sligtly greyed hazel hair and sky blue eyes.

Then suddenly there was a loud thump as I opened my curtains to take a look outside. Yet what I saw was miraculous I watched as it looked like my house was going higher like it had began floating but I shook my head and looked away assuming I was just a bit too tired and had started hallucinating.

As I turned back I walked to the bathroom and cleaned my face hoping to wash some of the tiredness away from my face and it certainly woke me up as I rubbed my eyes and looked around shocked somehow anything that wasn't fixed to the floor or a wall began to float.

I was astonished at what was going on, freaked out I ran for the door but as it opened I didn't see my expected sight of my usual friendly neighbourhood with good old Bob always sitting in his front yard across the road in the morning and my elderly neighbour to the right Ann always looking after her plants no instead what I saw shocked me as I looked out into a literal sky blue...

well, sky with nothing in front as far as I could see yet my yard and house were fine in fact I could walk on my front yard fine as if it was still attached to the ground and when I peeked down over the edge I spyed a sea of magma and flames devouring the ground and I watched what remained of skyscrapers fall down into the ravenous sea of rock and flame.

Astonished I stumbled forward attempting to process what I had just seen, all this in the few minutes i was getting ready, yet I had unknowingly begun to take a step past my yard only for me to feel an invisible wall slightly past my yard stopping and saving me. I stumbled backwards, still struggling to process the information and then in the same fashion of waking up suddenly I blacked out.

==========Day 1==========

Yet again I suddenly woke up, I was still in the same clothes as when i blacked out but I was back on my bed as I remembered the (what I assumed to be) dream, I rushed over to the window to check the outside yet I didn't see an endless blue abyss, nor did I see the usual everyday streets, but a large area of rolling hills and fields that extends for miles then after that there is a forest on the horizon where the trees look like tiny green teeth that extended to swallow the sky.

As I was studying the landscape I noticed something else strange even tho I was arching over to get a better look I wasn't feeling the pain of creaking bones from my 47 year old body in fact as I began to study myself I noticed I seemed to look much more like my youthful 20s self then my matured old body, and it felt great. I ran around the room invigorated by the feeling of my being in my prime again.

Stopping after finally reaching my limit I spotted that at the bottom left hand hand of my view there was a small s that wouldn't move no matter where I looked it was always there as if it was moving with my view, then when I tried to press it with my hand it seemed like my hand would always be just behind it.

After a second I had an idea I had come across this in a novel before, and so I tried to focus on the small s and suddenly a bright blue screen popped up in my vision saying

As this appeared I looked around my room albeit struggling with this panel in my vision for anything like a projector from people playing tricks on me, yet nothing as I slowly realised what this may have meant, after processing all of it I decided to sit down and think about what I should pick given that if this is all real this could determine what happens next in this strange new place...
