12 CHAPTER 10

MAYNARD'S POV

When we finished our foods, we decided to go home. We were about to leave when Storm stopped us.

"Why?" I asked him. Caily had just finished her gig and she is now walking down the stage.

"Caily!" Storm calls her. Caily and Blythe immediately looked on our direction. Blythe and I stared at each other so I immediately avoided looking at them, then they approached us.

"You're regular here, huh?." Blythe said.

"Uh ... N-not really. Haha." My answer. Shit! Why the hell did i stutter?

"Are you all right, Maynard?" Caily asked.

"Uhm..yes. I have to use the restroom excuse me for a moment.." I immediately stood up and walks away from them I need to get out of there. When I calm down myself, i immediately went back there as well.

"Dude, are you okay?" Marcellous asked. I nodded in response.

"Are you sure?" Blythe asked.

"Yes." I sparingly answer. I immediately looked at Storm who was looking at Caily.

"Are you going home?" He asked Caily.

"Yes. Hopefully." Caily replied.

"Don't go home first. Let's eat first." Storm said.

"Again? But we're just done----" Marcellous didn't finish what he was going to say when Storm glared at him.

"You've already had your dinner. Why are you still inviting us?" Caily asked.

"Aren't you hungry after singing those numerous songs? How many hours have you been singing. I'm free anyways, so don't refuse." Storm said. I noticed Blythe looking at me so I smiled at her. When she smiled back, my heartbeat suddenly quickened. I feel like I'm blushing here.

"Maynard you're quiet, is everything alright?"

This Marcellous is really smart. I immediately turned to him.

"We know you're interested in Blythe. So grab this opportunity."

I just facepalmed because of what Marcellous was saying. Blythe and Caily were in front of us now, while waiting for the order everyone is busy talking.

"You know girls, Maynard ... is quiet when someone gets his attention." Marcellous added. I stepped on his foot under the table.

"Ouch!" He complains.

"Are you alright?" Storm asked. Marcellous just nodded.

"Ask Blythe what her interests are. Try to know each other, we know you." Storm's teasing.

"What are you! I'm embarassed of what you're saying here." I said angrily.

"That's okay, Maynard. Even if you don't ask. I'm willing to introduce myself to you." Blythe said.

"I hope all. Because there's one here who still doesn't want to. 'Try to find ways to know me' rule. There's no progress until now tsk." Storm said

"When you want there is a way, if you don't there is a reason." Caily replied.

"Let's just eat." I cutted them off before an argument will start in between. While eating, i couldn't help but to look at Blythe. Why does Caily's friend so beautiful?

"Thank you for dinner." Caily said as we left the resto.

"Anytime. So, see you at school?" Storm said. Caily just nodded as a response.

"Say goodbye to Blythe too, Maynard." I was just shaken and panics. I raised my right hand and waved.

"Bye!" I said. Blythe just laughed and imitates me.

"Bye!" after that we go on our seperate ways to call this a day.
