2 Chapter Two- Who Are You

I thought the man would leave, but he stoops in front of me and says, "Miss, are you okay?" I look up at him and smile. He is handsome; indeed, he is, I say, "Yes, I am okay."

Ian's P.O.V

Some people might call me a stalker because I know a lot about this woman Emma Well, but we did go to school together high school. She was my hero the day she entered the world change and my life.

I was bullied very badly by another boy since middle school, Emma was not much of a rebel, she was the top student, and she was the Queen of the school. The moment she found out there were bullies in the school she made it her business to punish them.

Emma became the only bullied who protect weaker kids from the stronger ones, but her friends were just as worst as her total angels in class and then the demons in the hallway everyone thought Emma to be the leader of the group of three but they were their own individuals.

One of the reasons I was bullied was because I was poor, too smart and had an intelligent mouth then again another reason for that for some reason a lot of girls wanted to be my friend and that led to me being called a girly boy. It started with name-calling then lead to physically touching, tripping me, bouncing into me and their favourite kicking me in the knee.

I had to admit those were some dark days, but all that changes a day Saturday 19th of September. 2009 at lunchtime. I was on my way to the cafe when what was his name again? Oh yeah, Tae Woo tripped me. I felt yes it hurt pretty bad that's when I heard a girl scream out "Yah, Tae Woo, are you crazy? Do you want to die?"

Tae Woo laugh then tease me and said: "Oh look, Ian, here come prince charming coming to save the damsel in distress." I look up to see her coming, Emma, she walked up to Tae Woo and punched him in the face without hesitation.

Tae Woo push her, and she fell unto me and oh yeah that hurt too, but Emma got up puts her hands out and help me up I stood up and Emma said to Tae Woo "If you ever bully him again I will break every bone in your body got it."

Tae Woo laughs and sarcastically said, "Oh prince charming, don't push your luck because next time you won't even get to touch me like today." Emma let go of my hand and goes up to Tae Woo and punches him again then knees him in his stomach the moment he went down she kicked him in the face.

Then kicked in the stomach Emma smile darkly stoops down and says sweetly" Tae Woo senior the next time I won't be this nice the next time a nosebleed won't be enough for me to get what I am saying right so leave the boy alone because the next time I will damage you permanently."

Emma didn't even look at me she says to me "Hey student don't let little bitches like this bully you because you are the bigger person right." Then she walked away I did help Tae Woo to the nurse's office because that is called being the bigger person ever since then I have followed Emma like a puppy even though she ignores me throughout high school well that was until I had to go aboard.

This is the first time I have seen Emma cry ever in my life, so today I repay a favour to you, Emma because I owe you a lot more.

Emma's P.O.V

He puts his hand out and helps me stand up I take my slippers off and put on my heels I look at him he somehow seems familiar who is he again just now I need to think about it where have I seen you before high school probably I am terrible with memory so please be understanding.

I say softly, "You seem familiar, do you know me."

He laughs and says, "I thought you wouldn't notice me because not once have you ever looked at me once in high school except for that picture two months before I left."He takes out his phone and shows me a photo of us, or he is Ian Young; the school's pretty boy who that bastard used to bully. When did he get more handsome over the years lol Now look at me crying in front of him like a big baby?

I quickly start to wipe my face. I say, "Long time no see, Ian senior have you been well?"

He smiles at me and says happily, "Yeah and you, Emma, have you been well?"

I laugh and say, "I have seen better days, I guess."

He says, "Would you like to come over to my apartment!"

Why does it sound like he is telling me to come over sure let me cancel lunch with the girls I am sure they will understand I nod when the elevator opens he grabs my hand and pulls me down the hallway to the very end, and then he types his password and the door opens?

He says, "Come in; make yourself at home." I nod and go in I take off my heels and put on his house slippers it's kind of funny since I have my own, but that is dirty since I walked with it outside my house.

As I enter, I notice how clean and well organize his place is looking better than mine on a good day. Wow, Ian goes to the living room and turns on the T.V. I walk in and sit down. Ian says, "I will get some drinks and snacks for us."

He leaves then I pick up the control and start clicking to see if anything is interesting on T.V. which is unlikely, but you never know my phone vibrated. It's Toby. Oh yeah, let me text the girls.

'Ladies rain check on the lunch date.'

He puts a drink and slices of apple and strawberry on the coffee table I pick up a fork and grab two slices of strawberry he says "So I am going to cook some lunch how does bake chicken and mashed potato sound." I look at him and say "Practising foreign foods sounds okay, beggars can't be choosers." He laughs and says, "Emma, would you prefer something else you can say no if you don't want it because I am the one who asked you here, and you are my guest."

I laugh and say "It's okay in true it's been a while since I have foreign food so don't worry about it I will eat because you are preparing it and I was planning to go to an Italian restaurant for lunch, so it makes no difference to me."

He nods and goes into the kitchen I pick up the drink with the snacks and follow him he starts taking out the ingredients as I put the things on the counter and sit on the stool nearest to view him.

It's funny that I followed him here he looks up at me and smiles I smile back.

He starts washing his ingredients then he seasons the chicken and piles the potato cubes and puts them in a pot adds water then puts it on the stove and puts it to cook.

(skipping the rest of the preparation)

He comes and sits next to me on the stool and says, "Well, that will be done in fifteen mins." I nod and pick up a slice of apple and put it into my mouth.
