1 Early bird catches the worm

The saying goes 'Early bird catches the worm.' We usually use this saying to tell others to wake up early or just to do something earlier but if we think about it the worm must also have woken up early but that didn't help it. So can it also be used to tell others to do something later.

Even in reality it is not always better to do something earlier. Some things are better done later than earlier just like how it would have been better for that worm to wake up later.

So what I am trying to say is that everything has a right time. Some things are better done earlier while some are better done later. So maybe the quote isn't telling us to do things earlier but instead it must be telling us that everything has its own time and the right thing should be done at the right time.
