Liam's p.o.v

"They found a suspect" I get up groaning and booth looks at me " that's your job kid…" I nod paying and walking out and I see Emma running to me " yes em?" she shrugs "I'm going with you…" I fake a smile nodding and we get in the car driving to Headquarters "Liam why am I staying with you tonight?" I shrug as a response and I walk to the interrogation room as I walk in the man looks at me " why am i here?'' I don't respond looking at his file " many arrests for many different reasons…" He shrugs " not my fault" I try to stay calm " do you know an Alex Anderson" He nods " well he's dead" his eyes widen and I sigh " now why did you hit him two months ago…." He sighs this time " fine we both got drunk and we had a fight…" I nod " thank you" I walk out pissed and I shoved his file into sweet's hands " that douche hits his wife.." He looks at me weird " sweets before you say something stupid… remember I grew up with an abuser" He nods and I go to my office and emma is sitting at my desk playing with my stress ball as I sit down she looks at me " hi dork" She teases and I fake a smile but this time she sees through " what's wrong liam…" I sigh " nothing Emma, don't worry about it.." She nods as she nods. My dad walks in and I tear up " dad?" I ask and he smiles but I just look at my files and he sighs " son please..." he says as i shake my head " no because you left me alone with mom's husband instead of getting rights" I try to stay calm and he walks out.

A few hours later we are finishing up on the case file that we give to Caroline and I look over to see Emma snoring ever so lightly on the couch and I smile as I walk over and I pick her up as she cuddles to me and I rub her back and walk to the SUV and put her in the passenger seat and I buckle her up. I close the door walking to the other side of the car and I start to drive home and when I get to my house I see Maddie and my sister Tracie looking out the window and I carry Emma in as she snores and Maddie teases like the little kid she is "daddy's got a girlfriend…" She giggles and I smile and walk upstairs to my bedroom and I lay her on the bed and I lay a blanket over her and I walk down the stairs "Thanks trace for babysitting her it's just that work is crazy right now" She nods and walks out and I go to Maddie's room and I smile " it's

time for bedtime baby girl" she nods and gets dressed and she lays down. I sit on the bed and I grab her favorite book and I read it to her and she falls asleep almost instantly and I get up and I lay down on the couch after I change and I remember that Emma is wearing a dress so I get back up and I change her into a pair of my joggers and a big t-shirt and I go back down and work for almost the rest of the night

I wake up to Emma cooking breakfast "em you didn't have to do that?" she just shakes her head "be quiet and let me cook" I laugh and I get up in only my boxers and she blushes ¨whatś wrong" I look at her "your boxers" I look down at my boxers and I smile " oh I'm wearing my iron man boxers" I laugh and Maddie walks down the hall " hi baby girl" I smile and she rubs her eyes and clings to my leg "hi daddy!" She smiles and I get a text and I sigh "we gotta go they found a new suspect" I look at Emma and Maddie starts crying and I ruffle her hair and I smile "how bout you come with daddy to work" She smiles big and I smile "can I bring my barbies and coloring books?" I nod 'sure baby girl" She claps her hands smiling and Tracie comes in " have fun babysitting her" she laughs and I smile " she's coming with me to work" she nods and sets a dress down and she leaves. " the dress is for you Emma" she blushes and tries it on and I get a text from sweets

I look at Emma " we have to go undercover…." Maddie smiles " yay I get to stay with uncle Hodgins" I smile and I get dressed and I walk to the truck starting it waiting for Emma and I look up everything about the school and I walk back in " Emma I'm gonna be the coach and you're gonna be the science teacher" she nods and gets dressed fully and I get Maddie dressed and I text Hodgins

me: Hey man can you babysit baby girl?

jack: Yeah sure man but make sure she brings stuff and something for naptime last time she didn't get naptime and almost bit my head off

me: I know she gets angry when she doesn't get naptime

jack: Yeah Michael does too so I'll see you guys in a few

me: Ok, Jack see you in a bit, and Michelle might Come today, and if she does tell her that Maddie isn't with you guys ok? I just don't trust you with Maddie I know that sounds horrible but you know why…

jack: Yeah I know Liam just hurry up cam is getting antsy

I look at Emma " we need to go to the circus where our victim worked before he died" She nods and Maddie eats her breakfast and I get her ready to go to the lab after we get in we start to drive to the lab.
