Look for a Boyfriend

Her fingers were flying fast across the keyboards and she was not even blinked her eyes once while typing furiously on her laptop. She was reading through the lines on the screen when the door was suddenly burst opened.

"YI LING!" A certain someone screamed her name. Wang Yi Ling pretended did not hear her. She glued her eyes on the screen while read out the words. Chen Xing angrily walked towards her and stood right next to her table.

"Hi! Long time no see Xiao Xing!" Wang Yi Ling said sheepishly and flashed her mega watt smile at Chen Xing. Chen Xing rolled her eyes before plopped down on the bed next to the study table.

"Long time no see my ass! Where have you been? I was waiting for you at that fabulous restaurant for ages!" She grumbled unhappily. Wang Yi Ling quickly took her hands and held them before she put on her innocent look.

"Oh, Xiao Xing, I'm so sorry. I was too immerse and totally, 100 per cent drawn to the assignment. Speaking of which -"

"Shoot! Don't mention assignment to me. I don't want to listen to it."Chen Xing cut her and took a deep breath. She looked at Wang Yi Ling and thought to herself, it was such a pity Wang Yi Ling never indulged herself in the leisure activities with others, although she was came from a wealthy family. This friend of hers more inclined towards academic, so, it was not surprise that she always being the top student.

"Anyway, what's happened today?" Wang Yi Ling asked while grabbed a glass of water for herself. She gulped down quickly before put the glass away and faced Chen Xing who was sat on the bed, looked lethargic. Chen Xing would not shout her name in the way she did earlier if there was nothing big happened. Her interest sure piqued by this event. Her Sherlock Holmes' sense was truly ignite.

"There she is!" someone else entered without even knocking the door and simply took her seat on the bed, right next to Chen Xing. She looked at Wang Yi Ling and smiled sheepishly. By judging the way she smiled, Wang Yi Ling knew there was something fishy happened. She squinted her eyes at Zhao Yan.

"Yo, Xiao Yan ar... What has happened earlier? Sorry I didn't come to accompany you all today." Wang Yi Ling said but her gaze was never left Zhao Yan, because she knew this girl always up to nothing good.

"Xiao Ling, do you know that you need some entertainment instead of sitting here, facing your laptop?" Zhao Yan asked her. Wang Yi Ling scoffed while Chen Xing's lips twitched. This Zhao Yan had always have her way to mess up with people, but as for now, she was trying to bring this friend of hers to enjoy the life! She was really wondering, why on earth Wang Yi Ling was so adamant to excel in her studies although she was still young.

"Oohhh... I can smell something fishy here," Wang Yi Ling said with a smirk on her face. Chen Xing who was quite for a while, sighed and looked intently at Wang Yi Ling. With that face, surely she will be able to attract lots of male population, but Wang Yi Ling was being Wang Yi Ling. Study. Study. Study. What a waste!

"Cut the crap. No fish here and voila! It smell roses!" Zhao Yan exclaimed while sprayed the perfume into the air. Wang Yi Ling rolled her eyes while Chen Xing giggled.

"Yi Ling, let me tell you one thing," Zhao Yan paused, and looked at Wang Yi Ling.

"Come on now. Just spill it!" Wang Yi Ling rolled her eyes, feeling agitated. She really hate it whenever someone speak half way about something. It was nuisance for her. She would prefer something straight and direct to the point.

"Okay, I'll spill it," Zhao Yan waved her hand.

"What I want to tell you is that, you need to find someone who can talk to you just about anything, someone to care about," Zhao Yan uttered word by word, slowly. Wang Yi Ling eyes widen in disbelief. What the heck? It was as if Zhao Yan and Chen Xing were here to match-make her. Oh, this was definitely mysterious. Who was the lucky male? Wang Yi Ling smirked.

"Oh, someone to talk about everything, someone to care about? Isn't that both of you are here with me now? We definitely can talk about almost everything, and of course, not forgetting to look out for each other!" Wang Yi Ling exclaimed excitedly and put on her most charming innocent look.

Chen Xing coughed slightly and watched her friend who was smiling like she was an innocent child. A naive and adorable at that. Zhao Yan became speechless. Suddenly Wang Yi Ling burst out laughing.

"Ah... I know... I know... My dear friends..." She paused awhile before she continued, " I know that both of you are concerned about me. But don't you worry I will look for a boyfriend next time!" Wang Yi Ling finally said after she watched how the two of her friends looked like upon listening to her remarks. Zhao Yan and Chen Xing both exchanged the look.
