"Ahhhh..... I got in" an earth shattering scream could be heard from the room upstairs, followed by a young lady running down the stairs, excitement written all over her face.

"Luella, please calm down" came the voice of a woman, the young lady's mother.

"Can you keep it down, I'm trying to focus here" a voice came from upstairs, Lee, the young lady's big brother "and should anyone be shocked that you got into your dream college?" He scoffed, rolling his eyes.

She was literally a book worm. Which human ln this century still wasted their times on liberies when they had a phone? Not him..

"Can you at least be happy for me" she asked, hands on her waist.

"Congrats" he said sarcastically

Luella couldn't help but pout, Lee was the most annoying soul on earth.

"I'm proud of you gurl" Whitney, Lee's girlfriend.

They had been dating for as long as Luella could remember and her parents were perfectly fine with it which pissed her off because the last time she was seen with a guy, just talking, nothing intimate, she had to transfer schools.

Like, she was nineteen now and would be turning twenty few months later and the asshole of a brother was just two years older.... hehe

How come he was allowed to date before he turned sixteen and she wasn't.....

Anyway, HOPE wasn't her dream college because it was better than any other college she knew of, but because it was the farthest from home.

She was finally a free bird, away from her annoying brother and nagging parents. The thought made her grin happily.

"You'll stay at the school dorm" her father, who had been quiet said, raising his head from the newspaper he had been reading to face his little princess

Oh come on, not now....Her bucket list had been prepared before hand. She could already see herself in her own apartment, throwing pool parties every Friday.

"But Lee is living on his own, why can't I?" Luella asked devastated

"Because Liam (Lee) lives close by. We can easily run to him if anything happens but you're going to another city, and you're a girl, with the amount of rape cases, we can't let you live alone" her mother was the one to speak.

"But it's the same... if I live in the dorm, I'll be far from you and if I don't, I'll still be far" Luella didn't want to let them have their way. It was the first time she wasn't getting what she asked for, which was something entirely new and she wasn't used to.

"It'll keep us at ease, there's curfew and we'll ask the duke to help keep a close eye on you" her mom.

Right... she forgot that her parents were prominent figures and could get anyone to do anything.

She couldn't help but sigh in resignation. well, it was better than spending her college days with them. All she needed was few adjustments in her bucket list.

To be sincere, i love books with nice book covers and I’m not really a fan of LGBT.. no offence. One reason i read this book was the author and I’m hoping the author won’t suddenly stop updating Well... four chapters has been released so far and i think I’m drawn to the characters especially the mysterious roommate who definitely is Ella’s other half Comic books Anime...
