21 Chapter 21

Before leaving, I converted the entire Temple of Poseidon into a two-story stone mansion. All the same, this temple is of little use, but now at least there will be a place where I can hide from the outside world.

Later, when there is time, I will equip this whole area and create a full-fledged secret base, with everything need. I'll build a training ground, a library, maybe even a personal treasury, anyway, the chance that someone will find this place is very small.

After taking a last look at the resulting mansion, and once again surprised at how convenient my magic is, is it a joke, to turn the huge Parthenon into a large Gothic mansion in five minutes, I decided to move on.

Casting a combination of defensive spells on myself, I teleported behind the barrier and floated to the surface. Quite quickly, I found myself in the fresh air, where I removed all unnecessary spells, and flew at full speed towards the continent.

This time, I did not use my usual wings that I created with the "Light Ècuripte", but the wings of Arariel. When I got the experience of the previous Angel Soul users, I also got their knowledge regarding Take-Over Magic.

So now I'm very good at this magic, and it's pretty easy for me to use partial transformation to reveal only Arariel's wings. It's also much easier than a full conversion, which I can already do without any problems.

Arariel's blue angelic wings appeared behind me. They are much better than my previous wings, so now I can fly much faster. I still had more than 7,000 kilometers to fly, but thanks to the recent buff, I got more stamina and Magic Power, so I can get to Fiore today without any problems. Although at night.

But with music, this journey will be more fun. No wonder I still bought these Magic Headphones.

After a few hours of flight, already closer to sunset, I finally saw the land, or rather the mountain range. It was Fiore, or rather the most western edge of the country.

But I did not fly to the ground, but slightly deviated from the course and began to go around the territory of Fiore. I wanted to arrive at once in Hargeon, which was in the south of Fiore.

I didn't want to linger any longer and cover the whole country by land, so I just decided to make it all the way through the air, over the sea. And so, after a few more hours of flight, I could already see a small port city on the horizon.

It was Hargeon, the city in which the main story of this world began and where the two main characters of the story, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia, met, well, more precisely, this will happen in two years.

Hargeon is one of the port cities of Fiore, as well as one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in the whole country. And this is true, the closer I flew up, the better I could see everything. Although the architecture here was typical medieval and very similar to what I saw in the Empire of Alvares, but there is a touch of history here that gives the city a special charm.

Before, in the Empire, I had to constantly hide and infiltrate cities so that people from the government would not find me, but here in Fiore I am more or less safe, so there is no need to hide anymore.

True, I don't know if I need to go through some kind of inspection or present documents upon arrival in this city, which by the way I don't have, but I didn't want to be detained by the Rune Knights, so I did as always.

With the help of invisibility, I secretly landed in one of the dark alleys of the city, after which I removed all the spells and calmly walked out, merging with the crowd. Although there were practically no people on the street, since it was already almost night.

Here's another reason to join Fairy Tail. I don't have any documents, but thanks to the Guild, I will become a law-abiding citizen of Fiore, which may help me in the future. And now it's night, so as usual I found the best hotel in the city, where I took a room and went to bed.

The next morning, I decided to explore the city a little. I will definitely come back here in the future since doing quests for the Guild will bring me here, but I figured since I'm already in Hargeon, why not get to know the city.

First I went to a restaurant for breakfast. This restaurant was close to the shore and was where Natsu and Lucy went when they first met. Too bad Yajima is still on the Magic Council. I would love to go to his restaurant, which he will open after retirement. He seems to be a good cook.

Although the restaurant I visited the food was also excellent. And in this you can trust me, because my senses are much sharper than that of an ordinary person and I can perfectly understand the quality of food.

In general, after a hearty breakfast, I continued to walk around the city. I visited the park, went to the embankment. Since Hargeon is a small city, I had already finished by lunchtime.

Before moving on I decided to visit the only magic shop in town. There are quite a few things in Fiore that are unknown in the Alvares Empire, or things that are forbidden there, so I decided to look at the local assortment.

Unfortunately, Hargeon is a predominantly fishing town, so there are very few Mages here, which means there is practically no assortment for these same Mages.

The only thing I found interesting was the Communication Lacrima, which is essentially a magic phone, I didn't have one like that. Of course, such a Lacrima is not as good as a real phone, but still it can come in handy.

I also bought the latest issue of The Sorcerer Magazine in the hope of getting some useful information as well as the latest news from the wizarding world. Unfortunately, there was nothing sensible there, apparently nothing interesting has happened lately, although the photos in the bikinis of beautiful sorceresses were nothing.

There was also a mention that today is the anniversary of the death of Karen Lilica of Blue Pegasus. Exactly one year has passed since she died. But that doesn't concern me much.

The shop still sold the Gale-Force Reading Glasses , but they were worse than the ones I have. But I learned useful information about them. I asked the seller where I can get more powerful glasses that increase reading speed by x64 or even x128, but the seller said that such glasses are very taxing on the user's brain and only S-Rank Mages can use them without side effects.

Therefore, such glasses are strictly controlled by the Magic Council and are only sold by official S-Rank Mages. And you can officially become such a Mage either by passing an exam at the main headquarters of the Magic Council in Era, or by passing the annual exam in any Guild. So I'll have to wait.

I have absolutely no desire to go to those idiots in the Magic Council, so I will try to pass the Fairy Tail exam as soon as possible. It's supposed to be at the end of the year, I have about five months to earn a promotion, and then I'll get the most powerful the Gale-Force Reading Glasses, they are too useful.

Saying goodbye to the seller, I left the store and went to the exit of the city. There is a train from Hargeon that can take me straight to Magnolia, the city where Fairy Tail is located, which is not far at all. But what's the point of me shaking for hours on the train, even if it's Magical, if I can get to Magnolia faster.

Maybe someday I'll ride the train, but not today. I have one last push left and I'm already in Fairy Tail. To be honest, I'm a little tired of traveling, I've been on the road for almost two months now. And although I have rested on Caracole Island, it is time to complete this escape from the Alvares Empire.

Having moved a couple of kilometers from the city, I created wings and took off into the air, after which I flew to Magnolia. It's good that my hotel gave out a free card for tourists, and I did not have to look for it myself.

Everything was fine, the flight went well, but I wouldn't be myself if I didn't have an adventure on my ass. It's good that this time it's not a demon attack. At least not on me.

About fifty kilometers from Hargeon, in the middle of the forest, a dramatic event familiar to me was taking place. Thanks to improved vision, I could see what was happening there, even despite the height.

Below, traces of the battle were visible, and now there were three people. More precisely, two girls and one monster. The four-meter monster rampaged and destroyed its immediate surroundings.

His body was covered with red thick fur, except for his chest, which was without hair and had a green colour. Yellow horns sprouted from the shoulders and forehead of the monster. He had a mane of white hair on his head.

The two girls who were watching the monster with fear looked alike, and clearly had a blood relationship. The older one was about 17 years old, had white long hair tied in a ponytail, and was dressed in goth style clothing.

Now she was covered in wounds and was so exhausted that she could not stand on her feet. Not far from her stood her younger sister, who was about 15 years old, she had the same white hair, but only shoulder-length, and she was wearing a red dress.

The younger one was also covered in wounds, but she had the strength to stand and now she was shouting something to the mad monster and slowly approached him, apparently trying to calm him down.

At the same time, her older sister tried to stop her younger sister from acting recklessly, but she did not have the strength to do anything other than how to scream heart-rendingly and look at her sister and the monster with concern.

As you know, these were Mirajane Strauss, her younger sister Lisanna, and the monster was Elfman Strauss, who had unsuccessfully used Take-Over Magic and is now unable to control himself.

Looks like my Earring of Luck is working as I just happened to stumble upon a significant event in Fairy Tail's history. Namely, the alleged death of Lisanna.

It's good, it's very good. After all, being here, I will not only be able to save Lisanna, which is more of a bonus, I will render a service to the Strauss family, which will help me a lot.

Thanks to them, I'll be able to join Fairy Tail without any problems. I could just show up and join a guild anyway, but that way I'll get a recommendation and also show my good side, because I'll help a Fairy Tail member in a difficult situation.

And of course I'll make a good impression on Mirajane. This is also a good bonus, she is still a hot.

'Oh, I think too much, it's time to act.' - I thought, looking down.

That fool, Lisanna, thinking that she could calm Elfman going crazy, just stood in front of him and said some comforting words. And Beast-Elfman was just about to prove that she couldn't succeed by nailing her in place with his huge fist.

'Time to save her. But I need to make the best impression.' - thought with a smirk as I canceled Arariel's wings.

Without wings, I began to rapidly fall down, while creating a new spell.

- Light Ècuripte: Light. - I said aloud, dropping down to save Lisanna Strauss at the last moment.
