Just Another High-School Story!

He could not believe what had happened. His knees gave way beneath him, as he collapsed, failing to keep calm or even try to process what had just happened. The love of his life had just fallen off of a cliff in front of him. He did not get to say sorry properly, for hurting her, for being mean, for bullying her, and ruining her life, maybe he never would. Was this the end of their love story? As he pondered the death of his beloved, his eyes closed, maybe he could sink into darkness too, just sleep, he was really tired, his eyelids drooped slowly, and then darkness rushed to blanket him. "Leah! I love you!", he saw her face before completely falling asleep.

As she was plummeting to what was possibly her death, she regretted it, not being able to say everything she wanted to him, things like how much she loved him, how much she desired his warmth, and comfort, how they were perfect, and that fight, that night, it was all a mistake, how she was sorry for becoming the object of his hatred, for hurting him, how she was finally ready to be with him, yet she realised with rue, that she might have lost the chance, her eyes heaved, struggled to stay open. But it was all for naught, she closed her eyes, a tear slid down her cheek, shining like an undiscovered diamond, in the beautiful night sky, gravity pulled them both down, she saw his face, "I love you Ethan.", she thought, before her back hit something.

Three. Two. One.

Then everything blacked out.

You must be confused with what just happened. Who is falling to her death, and did someone push her, or did she fall accidentally? Who is Ethan, who is Leah, is she dead, is he? I know you must have many questions, so do I, let's go back to where it all began, the moment that it all started.

Let me start by introducing to you Leah. Leah is a high-schooler; in her freshmen year, she really wants to do it "perfect". She is a fifteen year old (a year younger than majority of her class). She is an extrovert and hungry for popularity. Sister to Linda, they are fraternal twins and have a pet kitten named Tinkles. Linda and Leah are besties; they share every detail of their days. They have a pact for "Full transparency-- minimal judgment." They really love each other and have an outstanding rapport. Leah and Linda share a room together. Her parents are divorced though, and the kids have been living with Mr Sanders, her dad, she never had a great relationship with her mother, but it was worsening, as she went into high-school.

Seemingly perfect Leah, and her Ms Popular high-school life starts out as a dream, but dreams can morph into nightmares, you know that saying, "Misfortune follows fortune everywhere." Maybe you do not, that is because that saying is what happens to Leah, it keeps happening though, she is happy one moment, has everything, but one moment, just one moment is enough to make her lose her mind, and turn the tables around. Will Ms Popular ever be able to overcome the problem she has, her biggest secret that she has been careful not to let slip out to anyone, something only her sister knows. And what about the guy who bullied her in Middle School, after disappearing two years ago, she had never heard from him, thinking that she was free of past demons, about to strew roses on her path, Leah steps in to start her "Perfect High School" Life, however, will everything turn out the way she wants it to, you did see her plummeting to her death, does she die, or does she survive and live to see her dreams fulfilled, how does she feel when the guy who ruined her life returns out of nowhere, but this time he acts differently, she gets the slightest hint that he likes her, despite her secretive problem eating her on the inside, she is on the rise when it comes to popularity, so, does she have a rival, someone hotter, someone intimidating? Mindy Allen fits the textbook definition of perfect, Leah wants to be confident in herself and deal with her problems but what about the fact that no matter how hard she tries, she ends up with tears??
