1 Just WHY Do You Have To Be So Annoying !!!

(Evans POV)

Never have I ever thought I would feel so damn bored. I was doing the same thing all day long; taking orders, and bringing said orders to the right tables. THAT'S IT. God knows what I would give to live a more exiting life where boredom wouldn't exist, but sadly we don't live in fairytales so I should start to man the fuck up...

It is quite a nice afternoon and the sun is shining brightly, beautifully illuminating the outside world. And instead of being outside with the friends I by the way don't have, hanging out; I am here taking orders and making coffee for these sleep deprived teens. Man, I remember those painful college times where I wouldn't sleep for weeks just because I had awfully long assignments to finish due to the end of the month.

I have already finished my apprenticeship for becoming a professional waiter about six months ago and am now working at a very well payed coffee shop called ''At Ellie's''. The little lady that owns this café is very nice and pays hardworking employees such as myself very well. She always tells me about how much she adores my work and the way I handle customers. She always pays me double if not triple the amount I am actually supposed to get if she is in a good mood and thinks I did well. And that is a lot mind you, my usual payment is about 2000€ per month so when she doubles or sometimes even triples the amount I get more than enough money to last me for more than five years.

I am always very grateful because first of all; where is this tiny little lady getting all of this money from!??, and second of all, no other would be as generous as she is about paying her employees . It always makes me wonder why she is being so nice to me. Do I really deserve her generosity?-

My train of thought was interrupted when the sound of the bell sounded throughout the little shop. My head shot up to look and greet the new customer. It was one I had never seen here before. It was a guy around my age, maybe a year or two older I would guess. He had dark circles under his amazingly electric green eyes, that were striking and wouldn't go unnoticed by anyone.

And that was proven correct when a bunch of girls started to whisper and giggle from all across the shop, and some even mustured up the courage to walk up to him.

Me, unimpressed by the commotion cleared my throat loud enough to get their attention and said '' Do you wanna order anythin?'' I was already getting annoyed with this guy and he hasn't even been here for longer than two minutes.

''Sorry ladies but it seems like Cody over here is troubled by my sexyness, so I should better hurry.'' He said ever so sweetly. The girls giggled and left shortly after. That was the least of my concerns though, did he just call me Cody?

''Well first of all sir, my name is not Cody, I literally have a nametag that says that my name Is Evan, so if you are going to call me by my name here you go, in case you are blind'' The words left my mouth in a mocking tone and I gestured to my nametag while smiling the most fake and sarcastic smile I could muster.

He looked completely unphased by my clearly trying to be rude voice and just went on ordering whatever the hell he came here for in the first place.

''One large Mocha drink with a little bit of you.'' He said before winking at me. Seriously, this guy..

''Excuse me what? Shall I spit in your drink to 'get me' in it sir.. or?'' I have dealt with many tough people before but this guy crosses a strict line between a coworker and a customer. I felt a little grossed out by his behaviour and figured he was the flirtatious type of guy who gets in anyones pants at any time of the day. Or at least that's the vibe he gives me.

The dude smirked and surprisingly said '' Ya gotta do whatcha gotta do right?'' It took all my power for the day to not face palm and amuse him any further, but damn...the temptation was almost unbearable.

I kept on my blank bored expression as I prepared his order. I turned my back and I SWEAR I could feel his eyes boring through me. That gave me shivers. His intense stares made me stumble more than usual and I became clumsy and slow. That only seemed to amuse him further though since I could hear snickering coming from behind.

I rolled my eyes as if he could see me and turned around with the most apathetic expression that I owned and handed him his drink.

''Wait a minute.'' I was about to throw the drink out the window when he said ''Did you spit in it?'' My eyes grew wide as he sad that. Was he actually expecting me to spit in his drink? Dude NO. If mrs. Ellie, the lady that owns the shop finds out what I did she would be so disappointed!! And you see...I don't want her to see me as a bad worker since I almost see her as a second grandma.

''Sir, I certainly do not believe that is a good idea.'' I said as calmly as I could, not changing my passive aggressive face. ''You may not know but I could sue you and this little shop in the blink of an eye so you better do what I say and spit that delicious saliva of yours in the damn drink. Don't you know? Customer is always right!'' He said in one long smooth breath. Seriously man, why can't I do that??

I just stared at him with my best bored expression and pretended to chew on gum like a brat in gym class fighting with the teachers about not being able to wear heels in sports. The both of us stared at each other until I suddenly broke the silence and made him flinch by suddenly saying ''Sir, I will have to ask you to go, you are holding the line and many other customers are waiting for their orders to be taken.'' I said in my usual bored monotone voice.

The guy looked behind him and sighed.'' Yes, you are right. There are many particles of dust floating around behind me that would love to have a coffee, but you still have not completed the drink I ordered.'' He said matter of factly.

''Will you go if spit in your damn drink?'' I said as low as I possibly could. He nodded and I rolled my eyes in disbelief and concerned for this mans sanity. I took a quick look around to make sure no one was there to scold me for it and gave up on my manners and spit into his drink with so much hatred that I think he will feel it while drinking it. Well, not my fault if he gets aids or whatever. Or if he feels my hatred drowning in his drink on his way to work.

He smiled and gladly took it and went for the exit before I said '' Oh and by the way, there was an actual little girl waiting for her order behind you but you were too lazy to move your ass so I guess you could take her out for icecream, hm?'' His face fell immediately when he realised what a dumbass he was. The little girl squealed while I was trying my best to hold in my laughters.

''Have fun!!'' I fake cheered them while smirking at his face.

Oh man, I had never felt so great at work in literal years. Maybe the universe has heard my prayers and has decided to finally grant me my biggest wish.
