Prologue

June 25, 1961 Walburga Black was St. Mungo's Hospital, screaming very loudly.

Supporting her was Orion Black, who was, as well, holding their one year old son, Sirius Black.

Healers worked their way through the operation, wanting it to be successful.

Orion was waiting outside the room, very excited. The healers had told them that they were going to have another son.

Orion was really proud, as he would be having two male Death Eaters in the family.

The door from the Operation room swing open, and Orion quickly stood up, with Sirius holding his dad's pinky with his left hand, and his thumb stuck into his mouth with the other.

"Congratulations. You may now see your wife," one of the Healers said.

Orion almost ran into the room, dragging Sirius who was oblivious with what was going on.

Orion cried of happiness when he saw his second son in a Healer's arm.

"Congratulations," The Healers said, handing over the baby to Orion.

Suddenly one of the machines which was attached to Walburga started making noise.

Orion widened in shock,"What's happening? Will she be alright?"

"Please may you exit the room," The Healer said calmly as all the other Healers crowded around Walburga.

Stunned, Orion walked out of the room, one of the Healers' taking his youngest son. Sirius, still holding his father's pinky, watched around in amusement.

Once Orion and Sirius were out the room, they heard a loud scream. The both of them flinched.

After a few more minutes of waiting, the both of them were allowed to go back into the Operation room.

Inside, in one of the Healers' arm was Orion's son, and in another Healers' arm was a second baby.

It was a girl.

Orion just looked at the girl in shock. A girl? Why would they ever want a girl in the family? It's not like the girl does anything.

Walburga's face was expressionless, she took, hasn't expected a girl, and she never wanted one.

Then she looked at her younger son and beamed.

Walburga held her arms out to meet her new Son.

"What should we name him?" Walburga asked her husband.

Orion stood there for a moment before saying,"Regulus Arcturus Black." He too, was smiling at his newly born son.

"And what about your daughter?" a Healer said raising his eyebrow.

The two parents glanced at each other, exchanging looking.

Walburga hesitated, opening and closing her mouth a few times. "Mallory Portia Black," she finally said.
