8 Encountered the Fly That Sticks with the T-Word

Once the dilemma has been settled and LT was added back to the team channel due to Ji Chen's order, everyone felt harmony and maintained a symbiotic relationship again.

While they were in the middle of doing a dungeon quest that required complete attention, LT suddenly popped up the question that has been bothering everyone the entire time. Since glancing at their chat box once in a while does not affect their team performance and LT is off dungeon, they let him feed their gossipy minds.

Lunch Thief: Hey Boss, what happened with you this entire afternoon? You actually missed a lot of daily events.

No one chimed in in LT's opening topic indicating that they are all eyes and ears to hear some gossips.

'This is their boss they are talking about, okay? Their mysterious and legendary boss to be exact. How come they can let this pass by?'

And thus, the silence in the team channel bore some pressure on Ji Chen to answer LT's question.

Ji Chen was deep in thought that the entire team almost got wiped out since Ji Chen stopped commanding for a while. The second-in-command PK Master took over in giving out orders to salvage the situation but is still eager to hear the gossips from Ji Chen. They swiftly passed the miniature boss of their run and finally, Ji Chen started typing.

Everyone temporarily stopped what they are doing in the dungeon and waited for the answer to reveal itself.

It took him three minutes to finally reply with a perfunctory answer.

Awesome Chen: Nothing much. Just caught off guard by some fly on the road.

Everyone's jaws dropped in disbelief however, LT continued interrogating him that pulled the team's attention back to the team channel. With not much eagerness to obtain gossips from their evasive boss, they entered the final stage in the dungeon and fought against the final boss.

Lunch Thief: What kind of fly boss? (He asked will all seriousness. He then added.) Was it a firefly? A butterfly? A dragonfly? Or the stinky fly that sticks on trashes?

Reading LT's additional question, everyone just wanted to eat their keyboard and never play again. Due to nervous breakdown, the entire team was wiped out and lost ample amount of experience because of LT's question.

On the other hand, Ji Chen's brows furrowed and resolutely decided to remove the word TRASH from his vocabulary as long as he lives.

After returning to their revival point, eeveryone mutually understood that a new word is added to the guild's taboo. With high efficiency, they updated the guild's rules in order not to provoke their beloved boss anymore. They are well aware that this time is an awful time to go against their boss because their rival guild's Guild Leader has been missing in action for quite some time now. Perhaps due to anger, their boss will abandon everyone and unite with his late wife.

Unbeknownst to everyone's precautions and meticulous planning, a certain someone was still unable to understand what is happening in the entire guild and excused himself from the conversation using the guild channel.

[Guild] Lunch Thief: I will be AFK for the meantime boss. Was asked to dispose of the trash in the kitchen. Oh BTW, later I need your reply on what type of fly you encountered on the road earlier.

The entire guild was dead silent to the point that it became very overbearing

Unaware of the chaos he brought to the entire guild while he was gone, LT returned to his computer and continued interrogating Ji Chen.

Lunch Thief: Hey boss, where were we again?

The entire guild channel remained deathly silent and LT just continued spouting nonsense and complained how smelly the trash is and thus he has to clean up himself again to remove its germs.

On a separate group channel, the entire active members under Ji Chen's guild talked amongst themselves and decisively called it a day and logged out of the game one by one.

However, since they have sworn brotherhood to one another, Xtremenator, PK Master, K.O. and Puppeteer, did not leave their unsensual and uncivilized brother LT on his impending doom. They joined hands and agreed that once LT is dead, they will bury him in a comfortable resting place that will be convenient for them to visit once in a while.

Little did they know, Ji Chen was currently having an inner struggle that he has to overcome. He was torn between logging out of the game to the point of no return or just answer LT's interrogation. Being a hopeless romantic, he was still hoping that his goddess will return to his embrace and therefore, he cannot abandon the game.

Having decided his action plan, he immediately typed out his answer to LT's questions at 400 wpm and decisively logged out of the game.

For a very long time of waiting in silence, in five corners of S City, a ding sound echoed throughout the atmosphere. They hurriedly read Ji Chen's answer and stayed there frozen.

Seeing his elder brother froze after reading a reply in his game, LT's little brother pried over the team channel and felt confused.
