7 The School

After interacting with Erin who again disappeared leaving a ray of brilliant shine into the Amulet.

( Now I want to know how I look as I'm now wearing this Amulet )

Hoffy ran towards the suspended water stream to see her appearance.

( This stream never ceases to amuse me, no matter how many times I see it )

( When I asked mom, she told that it's origin is from the Matriarch peak where the honorable Ghoul Matriarch resides. )

Hoffy saw herself as a reflected image in the stream water which was like the younger version of her mother which only had a small difference in her eyes as it had a golden green glint.

( Still I don't even know my own mother's name. Let's ask her later. )

( After a few days later, it will become one year after my birth. )

( Mom told that we had to enroll me in the School for Ghoul children.)

( This school is located near the Matriarch peak. )

( I don't know why, but there is always a chill running down my spine whenever I think about School. )

Hoffy then bathed in the suspended stream water and returned home after tidying up.

After a few days, a year got completed after Hoffy's birth.

( Since there was only a single school for the entire Ghoul community, Ghoul children from all the six tribes will be starting their basics in this school. )

( I heard that Ghouls have low fertility and birth rate, so there won't be much of fellow batchmates for me. )

Both Hoffy and her mother were walking through a muddy road about three to four hours and finally reached the school entrance meant for the 'Tyrgin' tribe.

( We are the last one to arrive, five mother and daughter pairs ahead of us waiting in the queue. )

( I may be wrong but I feel like these five mothers are purposefully shunning me and my mother and where whispering among themselves. )

After completing the registrations of the other five pairs of mothers and their daughters, Hoffy's turn came.

( Even the Receptionist was giving my mom a cold and disdained look??? )
