Start of something new
Kan Hakubutsu is the name of the person he reincarnated into or should he say his new name. That is what the newly named Kan Hakubutsu understood and currently, his thoughts are in turmoil, he is currently thinking of many things including where am I, why am I crying, didn't I die, why am I a baby, why does my new name sound familiar, Isn't my new name the same one as that professor Diggs from YU-GI-OH sevens, and much more.
After many days pass he came to the conclusion he was reincarnated as Professor Diggs when he was just born, he managed to figure this out after seeing his grandfather who had a weird beard although his grandfather was a background character whose name was not told and only appeared once but because Kan was a YU-GI-OH fanatic and watched sevens many times he so was able to remember him but the fact that there were people wearing duel disks also helped him reach this conclusion.
His entire family are apparently dinosaur fanatics as their entire house is decorated with dinosaurs which he already expected beforehand he lived his life peacefully for a while and before he knew it he started to grow attached to dinosaurs too. Many years passed after he was born and Kan's mother and father passed away one year after he was born they died in a landslide that appeared suddenly out of nowhere so now the only family he had left was his grandfather who's name is also Kan Hakubutsu as he was apparently named after him
and his grandmother died of an illness many years ago but that was not the only interesting thing that happened as he was growing up when his grandfather was showing him his ace monster Super King Rex when he came in contact with it he heard a voice in his head [Dinosaur Duelist System (DDS) activating...activation complete] [Do you wish to receive your gift pack (Dinosmasher's fury structure deck x1 (note: this product is edited to fit this world's rules so all level 4 or lower monsters attack or defence with more than 1500 points gets lowered to 1500 points.)).]

This happened when he was 3 years old and about to enter kindergarten at goha 2 kindergarten the day there was uneventful as he didn't want to play with a bunch of kids and basically already knew all of the things they were teaching but when he was alone he called out his system.
Kan (in his mind): Hey DDS could you tell me your functions?
[My functions include duel training, card shop, and card inventory.]
Kan (in his mind): Could you go into details?
[duel training lets you duel opponents you duelled before, the card shop lets you buy any card from your previous world that can work here so there are no synchro, xyz, or link monsters in the card shop there also is a randomized card pack that can contain any card inside a specific category it could be an archetype, level, rarity, or attribute you buy cards or card packs with duel points you get from duelling, and the card inventory is a place where you can store your cards you can not place cards that are not yours or items that are not cards in the card inventory.]
Kan (in his mind): Explain how duel points work.
[It is very simple the stronger the duelist you defeat the more points you obtain and if you lose you do not get any points. (note: you also get points for defeating duelists in duel training but the points are halved.)]

Now that he has obtained a deck he can finally duel the amount of excitement Kan is feeling right now is unimaginable it has always been his dream to duel in the world of YU-GI-OH and now that he is in the world of
YU-GI-OH has been waiting for a chance to duel for 3 years and finally, he can duel but because he does not have a duel disk he can only duel the old-fashioned way though before that he needs to find an opponent he can't just duel his grandpa as then he will have to answer the question of how he got these cards so he has to find someone willing to duel him, at least somewhat strong, and won't ask questions about how he got his cards. Where can he find such an opponent?
