211 Chapter 210 - Resolution

Teleporting us to the otherworld as planned, using Imlerith's memories, I transported us into the middle of the enemy camp. Catching them completely off guard, with one wave of my hand, I encased several hundred soldiers in solid ice.

"Batman we made it over safely, how are things looking over there?", I asked over the radio, as I used napalm to explode the group of soldiers.

"As expected, several thousand spatial anomalies are beginning to manifest around the globe.", he replied, "I will update you if we run into any problems."

Satisfied that things were moving along as planned, I returned my attention to the enemy forces. Firing a barrage of superheated plasma and light into their ranks, Ciri and Ghislaine cut down foes as they got close to us. Making our way toward the docked ship, in the heart of their capital city, we encountered a group of locals heading in our direction. Assuming they were enemies, we almost massacred them but stopped ourselves when we noticed they were unarmed.

"RUN AWAY!!! DANGER!!!", one of the women cried.

"What danger?", Ciri inquired.

Before they could answer, several Minotaur came barreling through a large building with modified Hellspores strapped to their chests. Feeling an icy, cold energy radiating from the weapons, I assumed that instead of the Apokolips' fire, they held the White Frost's chilling power. Leaping into the fray before we could warn her about the dangers, Ghislaine flew past the locals and was about to decapitate one of the Minotaurs when I appeared in front of her. Grabbing her, I teleported us both back to Ciri as one of the Icespores began to beep.

"Why did you get in the way!?", Ghislaine shouted, frustrated that I prevented her from killing the enemy, "I had them!"

Before I could answer, the weapon detonated causing the others to explode as well. Almost instantly the entire area was enveloped in an icy storm that instantly froze the locals and buildings around us. Protecting Ciri and Ghislaine with a barrier, the catwoman stared at the frozen women with a horrified expression. Noticing that her tail was puffed up, I asked Ciri to explain things to her.

"This is the power of the White Frost, a deadly entity that encases whole worlds in ice. Every world it visits is doomed to a slow, agonizing death as all the inhabitants slowly starve or freeze.", Ciri explained, as I siphoned the energy away, "Cole is completely immune to its power, I can resist it for some time thanks to my magic, but you…you would have ended up like those women there."

"No, she would have been frozen in mid-air and once she hit the ground, her body would have shattered into a million pieces like a broken glass cup.", I remarked, "As I have asked you before, please do not act without my guidance. I would prefer not to have you endure a substantial amount of mental trauma if we can help it."

"Why did you only save me?", she asked, as Ciri helped her to her feet.

"I protect my family first above everything else.", I told her, with a smirk, "As for these women, they are not dead, just flash-frozen. There are several ways to resuscitate them so please do not worry about it. Once this is all over Eri can revive them easily enough."

Once the bitter cold subsided, I sent the frozen women back to my castle before proceeding forward. Armed with the knowledge that Brainiac and Eredin had stooped to using Suicide Bombers, the two women stuck closer to me for their protection. Taking out several more Minotaurs on our way to the ship, once we reached the dock we came to a stop as the immediate area around the ship was completely barren.

"This has that idiot Reincarnation Deity written all over it…", I sighed, "I bet they have the defense system set to fire on anything that enters this space. Give me a moment, I will force them out of the ship."

Deciding to lay all my cards down to finish this, I opened a small Boomtube in front of me and a massive one above the ship. Plunging my right arm into the tube, an enlarged version of my arm came crashing down on the ship driving it into the ground. As the ship began to collapse, a series of explosions began rocking the area. Transferring all the stored cities and worlds into my Pocket Dimension, as they could still be saved, Ciri and Ghislaine looked at the destruction in shock.

"Holy shit!!", Ciri shouted, "Since when can you do that!?"

"Since I stole Darkseid's powers.", I chuckled, "I have been hiding things up my sleeve in case I ever needed the element of surprise. Since I intend for this to be the last major conflict I will be involved with, now is the time to reveal my hand."

"Both figuratively and literally.", Ghislaine said, cracking a smile.

Just as the ship was about to be completely flattened, the three occupants vacated the ship. Teleporting right in front of us, just before the ship went supernova, they dove for cover as the stored energy engulfed the area. Rapidly absorbing the energy before anyone got hurt, the three men glared at us with anger.

"Why can you not let things go!?", the Reincarnation Deity protested, as they picked themselves up off the ground, "I am sorry that I killed your offspring, but it had to be done. If you had not withheld such critical information from me, they would be here with you now!"

"Come on, just let me go! He is the one who implemented the entire plan to kill them and all six worlds!", Chaos shouted, "Kill him and leave me be!!"

"He was the one that suggested the damn plan in the first place!", the older deity corrected him.

"Enough, I do not give a damn how each of you were involved. At the end of the day you both had a hand in their deaths so you both are dying.", I sighed, glancing over at Eredin/Brainiac, "How the hell have you tolerated these idiots up till now?"

"It has been a taxing exercise in tolerance and patience…", they answered, with an annoyed expression, "I know it is a long shot, but would you be willing to hand Cirilla over to me? The bloodline she carries is supposed to belong to the Elves, not humanity. If you do, I swear to you that we will never meet again."

"Haha, I think you know the answer to that question.", I laughed, before hardening my expression, "Not a chance in hell."

Realizing that this would only end in a fight, the three of them charged forward ready to hit us with everything they had. Grabbing hold of Ciri and Ghislaine, I froze time instantly bringing the world around us to a screeching halt. Taken aback by the sudden change, Ciri and Ghislaine looked around at the scenery trying to figure out what was happening.

"Did you stop time?", Ciri asked, "How are we still moving?"

"Because I allowed it.", I teased her, "Both of you can turn that idiot into Swiss cheese, leave these two to me. I have something special planned for the old man…"

"Out of all the ways this could have ended, I never thought it would end like this.", Ciri giggled, "I expected more energy and a slugfest, this just feels like cheating. Is this how it feels to be you all the time?"

"Meh, you get used to it after a while.", I acknowledged, with a smirk.

While Ciri and Ghislaine cut Eredin's body to ribbons, I siphoned off all of Chaos' power while he stared at me in horror. Fully aware of what was happening and completely unable to do a thing about it, Chaos' last thoughts were of the peaceful days he lived in Heaven. Having gone along with their plan for some excitement, he regretted having ever thought this was a good idea. Had he not followed along, he would have been still living the high life in Heaven but now he was going to die like a dog. After killing Chaos, I cracked my knuckles and stepped in front of the old man.

"This is for everything and everyone you took from me.", I said, in a cold tone, "Today has been a long time coming!"

Pulverizing his face with thousands of anger-filled punches, when I unfroze time, the bastard went sailing through the city screaming in pain. Bringing him back to me with a Boomtube, as he came flying through, I drove my knee into the back of his head and then slammed his face into the ground. Continuing to beat him into oblivion, I hurled everything that I had been holding back at him without reserve.

"Do you understand how much pain and agony you caused me!? You stole everything that I cared about from me without batting an eye!! My children grew up without their father and were ridiculed by their peers for it. My wives worked themselves to death to provide for our children while the world blamed my family for everything going to shit. They were beaten, stoned, driven from our home, and sexually assaulted because of their connection to me!! Even after all of that…they never stopped loving me and wanting me to come home!!", I howled, pulverizing his head into a paste, "I have had to shoulder this pain and knowledge alone since my children gave me the letters from their period. The weight of my failure as a husband and father has been eating me alive, and you are to blame for all of it!!"

Unable to see or speak, the old man's body floundered around trying to escape from me. Grabbing him by the throat, I began siphoning off his powers while simultaneously breaking every bone in his body that I could find. Reducing his body to ashes once I was done, I glanced over at Ciri and Ghislaine who were waiting patiently for me. Having dissected Brainiac thoroughly and destroyed all his critical parts, they had remained silent all through my shouting to let me vent my rage.

"Let's go home.", Ciri remarked, reaching her hand out to me.

Liking the sound of that, I quickly transferred the inhabitants of this world to my Kingdom then promptly went to collect my wives.
