33 CHAPTER 29

" You look a lot like someone I know " Dante' says, snapping Julie out of her thoughts. He looked intently at her.

" Huh? " Julie mumbled absent mindedly.

" I said, you look a lot like a friend of mine. " He repeated.

" Oh really? " Julie sayswith a smile.

" I always knew there was someone out there that looks just like me. "

She says, almost proudly.

" Yeah, such things happen rather too often. " Dante' says, more to himself than to her. He remembered a bunch of guys that looked a lot like him in France.

Julie thinks for a while and turns to Dante'.

" What's her name? "

She asked curiously.

" Her name is... "

Dante' was about to answer but he was interrupted by Paul, who arrived with a tray in his hands.

" Here we go, two cups of Cafe latte and a cup of sweet tea. " He says as he placed the tray on their table.

" One for me, one for you, and one for the pretty lady. "

Paul says as he hands Julie a cup of coffee, she collects it.

" Thanks. " She says with an appreciative smile.

Paul sits beside Julie and drinks his coffee.

Dante' sips from his cup and says to paul.

" I'll be right back. " He gets up.

" Sure. " Paul nods.

Dante' goes to the restroom.

Julie quietly sips her cup of tea.

And looks outside the window, expecting to see Josiah.

Paul turned to her, he looked at her cup of tea and asked.

" Do you like it? "

" Yes. " she answered with a simple smile.

Paul nodded, a thought crossed his mind, he seemed to remember something, then he asked her.

" Wait, I thought you said you won't be able to spend time with me and my cousin today, because you're going out with your boyfriend. How come you're here ? "

"Oh, I'm actually waiting for him so we can go together to the cinema."

Julie answered.

" All right. " Paul says casually and continued sipping his coffee.

" Have you tried calling him? "

He asked her while scrolling through his phone.

" Yes and he said he's on his way. "

Julie answered and lets out an angry groan.

Paul remembered what he had planned to tell Julie, he had something serious on his mind to tell her but he felt now was not the right time, he looked at her, she had a frown on her face, she didn't seem to be in a good mood and he didn't want to make her even more upset. So he just kept what he had to say to himself.

"I'll tell her about it some other time. " Paul decided in his mind.

" Gosh! "

Julie hissed, she hated when Josiah couldn't keep to his word. She hated having to wait for him this long, Cause that's all she had been doing since the start of their relationship .

'waiting for him'.

She waited for him to get a decent job but he didn't, she waited for him to propose to her but he hasn't. she waited for him to buy a house, that they can live in together but he couldn't and now, she's waiting for him to fulfill his promise of taking her out. And he's delaying.

Julie wasn't the patient type, but she had tolerated too much from him already.

"Gosh! Sometimes, I wonder why I'm still with this guy. "

She voiced in her mind.
