Chapter 1Chapter One : The Rejection

( Henry POV )

" For the last time Henry! I don't want to be your girlfriend! I don't like you! Ugh!" Lia shouted. I was heartbroken. She was right. I tried for ages to get her to like me, and I failed. I did everything I could. I walked away, crying. I just wanted to go home. I couldn't believe it. That night, I couldn't sleep. I didn't eat either. I just lay on my bed, sobbing.

( 3rd person POV )

While Drew was watching " Boy with Bad Luck" on his phone, he looked up and asked, " Hey, where's Henry at?" " To be honest, I don't know." Jake replied. " But he's never late." Liam continued. They had no idea what was going on. So they just went to school, without Henry. A few minutes later, when they were at school, Henry came. His hair was messy, his eyes were red and puffy, and he seemed tired. " Sorry I'm late Miss," Henry said. " It's fine, are you okay?" Miss Jones asked. " Yep, I'm fine..."

( Liam POV )

I knew Henry wasn't fine. He was even crying a little during P.E. I decided to ask him, but not now. Maybe when he gets a little better. Now that I think about it, Henry confessed to Lia yesterday. Maybe she rejected him and he got really upset and cried. I don't really know. But I'll ask him tomorrow at our sleepover I planned. Well, better wish for the best.

( Henry POV )

We were having a sleepover at Liam's house tomorrow, so maybe I'll feel better when I go there. But, I was still really upset. I can't believe I tried to confess to Lia when it was so obvious she hated me. I guess maybe I can tell my friends about this. No, they'll just laugh at me. I better not tell them. Oh well, I guess I'll just hold it in or tell my family. I mean, my mom always said if I needed help or was sad, I should tell her and dad what was wrong and they will help me. Yeah, that's what I'll do after the sleepover.

What will happen next? Will Henry's friends find out what's wrong? Will Henry tell his parents? Or, will Henry find someone new to love who loves him? And, what will happen to Lia? Find out in the next chapter...
