The Popular Girls

Brianna McGrath is the popular kid in school. She had created her own gang called the Doppelgangers, very few people can join the gang only if Brianna allows you to. She only focuses on fashion, trend and popularity. She is so famed at school people actually give way for her and no one is allowed to block her path. Brianna McGrath, Jane Young, Rebecca White, Madison Moore and hard to say that even Joanna is in the DG gang. All the girls in the DG gang treats Joanna in a low-key wierd manner because she is kind and humble. The whole gang are 8th graders and so am I. I do remember when I was in 6th grade I asked Brianna if I could join her gang, she said she'd check about that. But I didn't get any reply after that. Well, yesterday, i was walking down the hallway at recess and as the usual I saw the DG gang hanging out in the corner, they usually hang out near the canteen. So, I went to the canteen to buy a doughnut and sat on a bench near by and started eating it when suddenly Jane from the DG gang came and sat next to me. I thought she had a personal problem but few minutes later she said "Hi" to me and so did I, They never usually talk to random people down the hallway. They keep their own dignity unless they pull a prank on someone or they are going to taunt a particular person. So people don't go near the DG gang. The obvious is that if they want to hang out with us, it is only for their good. So then, Jane asked me how my life was and if it was all going good. The thing is that, she had never been so modest with anyone. She cautiously pointed out that she wanted me in their gang. Well, the sophisticating thing is that everyone treats you like a 'queen'. I was really optimistic and excited, but I never really had a proper acquaintance of being a popular kid, it didn't really ends up the right way and I realised I was captured to the group so I could get taunted.
