The Ten Shadows Technique: A General Explanation

Hey, this chapter is intended for Readers who are unfamiliar with the Ten Shadows Technique which plays a major/integral part in the Fic.

An explanation similar to this one is given by the OC/MC of the fic in Chapter 8.

This is simply intended for the readers who are contemplating whether to read this fic or not depending on what kind of power the Ten Shadows Technique is, without having to read all the way up to Chapter 8 to get an explanation.

I am one of those people who when he reads a power inserted into a Familiar verse, like the Naruto verse, wouldn't read it if I don't really like the power or find it interesting.

I am very picky.

-The Ten Shadows Technique in the Narutoverse A Short And Basic Summary-

The Ten Shadows Technique is a technique that uses shadows as an intermediary to summon up to TEN varying Shikigami, of different powers, shapes, sizes etc...

Shikigami, in the Naruto world, would be translated into Chakra Constructs Or Creatures.

Similar to the Tailed Beasts in their Biology so to speak.

When someone inherits the Technique, he is given the FIRST set of Shikigami. A pair of twin wolves called the Divine Dogs to assist the user in his endeavors.

What about the other 9 Shikigami?

Well, the user needs to put in the work to get them.

He has to defeat the intended Shikigami in mortal combat through an exorcism ritual without ANY external help.

Once that's done, he has a tamed and brand new Shikigami to use.

Another thing to note is that the Shikigami that are slain/destroyed. Will never return.

However, their power is inherited by the rest of the Tamed Shikigami the user has. Make of it what you will.

An example of the Abilities of a couple of the Shikigami.

In addition to differing physical capabilities...

Divine Dogs - Chakra Detection and Strong sense of smell.

Nue - Flight, Electricity

Mahoraga - The ability to adapt to ANY and ALL phenomena (This one's ridiculous)

And more!

The last aspect of the Ten Shadows technique is the ability to manipulate shadows to a degree.

The ability to move across shadows, into shadows to hide, and store items inside shadows.

That's about it.

Lastly, The Shikigami can get stronger depending on the proficiency of the user with the Technique. Won't be elaborating on that but you get the point.
