Culling Games IV

"Attack the Zen'in clan? Why? Let's just leave them be." Itadori said at Mai who was sitting in her wheelchair. Behind him were Megumi, Malenia and Choso. All were called by Mai as she told them her intentions and plans.

"Because they plan on attack Megumi and in turn attack you, Itadori."

"Huh, me?" Itadori pointed to himself confused.

Mai sighed at Itadori's ignorance. "You know the first thing the higher-ups did when Gojo was gone. It was to put a bounty on him and prevent anyone to help him be released. Even when the world has gone to shit, they only think about retaining the power they have. It's funny, isn't it?"

"Not really." Choso said and earned an elbow to his stomach by Malenia who shushed him.

"Megumi, you have ties with Gojo and that will be the perfect reason to kill you. Same with you Itadori. No, you have it even worse with what Sukuna did in Shibuya. I promise you this, if you go there without taking care of the Zen'in then they will go in the Culling Games to attack you there. It's better to eliminate a threat that is grouped up than when they are spread out."

Megumi understood what she was getting at and her reasoning. "So what do you suggest we do."

Mai shook her head. "Not we, you. You'll go there and eliminate them."

"You want to do this for another reason, right?"

She paused as she remembered what her and Maki had to go through their childhood. If they were only ostracized then it wouldn't have been that bad. But no, they had to work without rest, being punching bags for people like Naoya. The struggle to survive was harsh.

If she were to honor Maki's legacy, then it would be to wipe out those who gave her a hard time. Even if she didn't show it, Mai knew how hard it was for her. Especially since she didn't have much cursed energy. Maki received a harsher treatment than she did.

"Let's just say I hold grudges for a very long time."

[Piercing Blood!]

Back in the fight, Choso immediately shot the piercing blood aiming it directly towards Naoya who dodged. This action marked the start of the battle as both parties fought one another.

"Attack the intruders!" 

"Itadori, don't pull your punches. If you don't to kill then don't but don't hold back." Malenia said concerned for her brother.

"Got it!"

"I'll tell you who you'll face in the Zen'in clan." Itadori remembered Mai's plan for him. "Choso, you'll face Naoya. Frankly, I don't expect you to win but stall for time. Next is Itadori, you'll face Jinichi who has a cursed technique related to fists. I don't know what exactly it is but I can trust that you'll win. Megumi will take care of the rest of the Hei and Kukuru Units. These two are being left for the two of you. Malenia, I'll ask you to kill Ogi."

"Are you sure? Isn't he your biological father?" Malenia asked uncertain.

"What father? I only have one and it sure as hell isn't him."

Itadori punched one of the men in the Kukuru unit and looked around. He soon found his target, a muscular man with wild spikey hair and thick eyebrows. He has an X shaped scar on his forehead.

'That's him.' Itadori charged through the crowd and charged his fist up. He swung his fist at Jinichi who blocked but even he was forced back from the blow.

'This kid, he's strong.' 

Itadori had become far stronger than he was before Shibuya.

"Your opponent is me." Itadori said as his fists were filled with his cursed energy.

"Don't push your luck, kid." Jinichi said and looked around.

It was chaos, and not the kind that he enjoyed. The woman was going around killing everyone near here with butterfly wings while Megumi used his Divine Dog and Max Elephant to kill the Kukuru Unit.

Itadori threw a flurry of fists to Jinichi who started blocking his strikes but realized that Itadori was much stronger than he had thought. The pure raw strength held within Itadori was great enough to put pressure to most sorcerers, add his great control of cursed energy after Shibuya made Itadori one of the best hand to hand fighter in the world.

'How is he so much stronger than I am?!' Jinichi thought as he was being pushed back. He was staying cool and holding his ground but not for much longer. He threw a fist and Itadori ducked it sending a devastating kick to his chest, sending him flying and collide with multiple sorcerers.

"Jinichi? What are you doing, stand back up!" He heard his name and saw the leader of the Kukuru Unit say that to him before he had his head cut off by Malenia. 

[Flame Release: Blazing Courage!]

Ogi shout out as fire shot out of his sword. "Come at me disgusting woman!"

Malenia didn't react to his insult and brought her own blade out. A blade made Juzo, a blade named 'Dragon Bone'. Dragon-Bone is a thick single-edged blade with three engine-type holes in the back. The blade is connected to a highly mechanical hilt. The bottom section beneath the holes is covered by the extended handguard, which has several square shapes protruding from it.

Ogi surrounding's burst into flame as he swung his blade at her who clashed with him. Her sword glimmered with light with every strike she made. Her three holes in the back propelled by the accumulated cursed energy struck Ogi's sword and broke it apart sending top of the blade flying.

"You were saying?" Malenia said in a mocking manner at Ogi.

"Ogi! Focus, I'll stop her so go ahead!" Ranta who was dragged in with him said. He used his cursed technique and froze Malenia in place.

"Everyone attack her!" Ranta screamed as he could feel his hold slipping.

Ogi acted first and charged her with his flame sword. Everyone charged at her with their weapon at hand. This was their best and only change at surviving this fight. To stop her before she can activate her technique.

Malenia held a special property with her cursed energy. Unlike other sorcerers, it always shaped itself to be sharp. Sharp enough to cut through cursed energy reinforcement or in this case, a cursed technique that bound her. Cutting free from the technique, Ranta's eyes bleed profusely and he coughed blood from the damage he received.

[Falling-]

Before Ogi could form his anti-domain, Malenia had already activated her own technique.

Before them all, what appeared to be a burning transparent lotus formed around her body. Her body floated in the air thanks to her wings. Her sword hung high and pointed above them, then her voice echoed across the battlefield.

[Scarlet Aeonia]

An explosion burst out of her body as everything in its vicinity rotted at a visible pace. Whether it be flesh or metal, everything was breaking apart. The red lotus formed around her as she made them rotate and wreak havoc around the battlefield. 

"I thought the Zen'in would of posed more of a challenge. I do not understand why Isao Arai left you all alive. He could of all enslaved you, he has become too passive and that resulted in his death." Malenia said as she looked down at Ogi barely standing up.

Half his body is rotted and he couldn't even walk straight as he almost tripped in several occasion.

"Isao Arai? Did he order this on us all." Ogi asked as he heard her mention his name.

"No, it was his daughter, Mai."

"Mai! She's-"

Malenia cut him off. "Not your daughter. Nor a name you will ever mutter with that disgusting mouth of yours."

With a clean slash, she cut off his head and caught it before it fell. "I heard gifts are given to those who are depressed. I wonder if this is an appropriate one."

She looked around her and saw the corpses of the Zen'ins. None were left alive. 

"Seems you managed to beat Naoya." Malenia said as she saw Choso drag the corpse and threw it on the ground. His face was bloodied from the beating he endured.

"He was underestimating me thinking that I can only use the techniques of the Kamo clan. My supernova only needed to land once before my blood acts as poison to his body, after that it was an easy win."

"Seems like you guys finished everything too." Megumi arrived though he was full of cuts and bruises and Itadori just had minor injuries.

"It was a tough fight." Itadori commented as he shook his hand from the pain. 

"Looks like we all won in the end." Choso said with a smile as he could see his younger brother become stronger and stronger.

That day, all Hei and Kukuru squad members were murdered. Multiple traces of cursed energy had been found yet were removed before being able to be identified.

Day's later, the two other great family of sorcerers, the Kamo and Gojo clan, proposed to remove the Zen'in family from being one of the Three Great Families to Jujutsu Headquarters.

That decision is on hold for now.

All of the Zen'in clan had perished that day.
