Since he isn't planning on using a domain expansion, I'll also hold off on mine. It wouldn't be fun to end the fight in five seconds.

Most fights would end immediately if I pulled off my domain. Even the one hidden in the bushes doesn't have the sneak potential that mine does.

My primary concern is the burnout shortly after a domain ends.

If I clash with someone and the barrier ends up breaking, or someone smashes it from the outside, my adaptations will be thrown out of wack before I can get them back online.

Funnily enough, my weakest point comes with my strongest technique.

In any case, I have to deal with Gojo for the time being. Since he is already familiar with my technique, I can't understand why he is so confident that he can beat me.

From what I can tell, he's got a domain but no reverse cursed technique.

I would call him stupid, but I know he's anything but stupid.

Shoko speaks in a monotone voice, her hands cupped around her mouth. "If you're going to fight, do it already!"

Let me have my internal monologue, woman!

With Shoko's declaration, Gojo raises his hand and smiles. "Phase, twilight, eyes of wisdom [Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue]."

I was confused at first since he should have known that it wouldn't affect me due to his six eyes, but then I realized...

Suddenly, four blue orbs surround me before smashing in an immense amount of debris to where I once stood.

Jumping out of the way, I give him a smile. "Turns out you've learned a few things since our last bout."

Removing his glasses, he smiles back. "I figured out that if you can't be pulled with blue, create a circumstance where you can be affected by it. While you can nullify my techniques, there is more than one way to break through your shield. Cursed technique lapse blue works in an-"

I jumped in close and send a kick to his face. "You really think I'm going to let you get stronger by disclosing your technique!?"

Blocking it with his reinforced arm, he replies with a bright smile. "Saw through me, huh?"

While I could go all out and end this thing. I'm genuinely enjoying myself. Every single fight I've partaken in has been terribly one-sided, aside from Gojo.

In addition, sparring with someone as efficient and smart as Gojo will help me grow.

While we are close, he locks onto my arms.

I hear him chant again, creating more blue orbs: "Phase, twilight, eyes of wisdom [Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue]."

Just then, a third of the training field gets flung at us.

Gojo ends up laughing. "While you might be immune to my infinity, debris isn't."

*BOOM*

A mass of random material gets shoved together almost instantly.

Hah, I've got to give him massive props. He was able to overcome one of my reinforcement adaptations, but now that my technique recognized it, it is even stronger.

I push my hand out of the ground since I have about a thousand pounds of random materials on top of me.

Getting out of the rubble, I pat myself down, making sure to get all of the stuff out of my new Jujutsu Tech clothes.

I sigh. "*Sigh* I hope this shit comes out in the washer."

Looking around, I see the total wreck that Gojo did on the training field. "Didn't you say this would be a spar?"

He rubbed the back of his head. "Got a little carried away, I guess."

Just then, I see Geto covered in one of his cursed spirits and Shoko about ten times the distance she was originally.

I guess Gojo went a little far. It was a fun learning experience, though.

Turning back to Gojo, I see him with a slightly disappointed expression.

Gojo speaks up with a more serious tone. "Hey, why didn't you try? Your technique was running, but you weren't trying to beat me."

I stretch my arms and reply. "It was a spar, not a deathmatch. I used the adaptations required to fight you. I wasn't going to use my full arsenal, which would've ended the fight since you said it yourself that we weren't going to go all out."

He had a slight look of realization. "You figured out domain expansion?"

Wow, he came to that conclusion fast. I smile at him. "And what makes you say that?"

Gojo's shoulders dropped in a comedic manner. "I feel so stupid. I thought I had it figured out before you did."

Then, I thought I saw visible cogs spinning in front of him until they stopped, and a lightbulb lit up. "We both have domains..."

Uh oh.

I have a slightly nervous expression. "We've gone a little far, don't you think?"

Smiling, he raises one hand and starts to cross his fingers.

Before things can escalate to the next level, Geto screams at us. "The hell are you guys still doing over there!? The whole campus is on lockdown because of you idiots! They are screaming about a curse user attacking the campus!"

Gojo gets knocked out of whatever zone he was in before looking worried. "Oh shit, let's bail!"

That wasn't quite what I had envisioned with our second fight, but it was still an interesting one nonetheless.

The only people who can realistically give me issues are Uraume, Kenjaku, Toji, and Yuki. I was worried that I would disappoint Gojo, but it seems like he only wants to get stronger.

A Gojo that is actively trying to surpass himself is a horrifying future Gojo.
