While Kumagawa and Todo were having the time of their lives. The students of Tokyo were doing their own missions. Gojo decided that he needs to test the limit of the two newcomers so he sent them on a mission to evaluate their worth. Megumi was with them of course, he is the ace that Gojo currently has.

"I already checked their craziness before so inspecting their determination would be worthwhile. Let's see how this goes" Gojo muttered, smiling. His life has become more entertaining ever since he met the three… well, it was always entertaining but the joy he feels is quite different. If he were to compare it then his highschool life would be the only comparison.

This is why Gojo is determined to keep them all alive. He knows how twisted the higher ups are and wishes for no harm to come in his student's way. He will certainly be pissed if one of them dies because of their plans. Perhaps changing the order would be a great sidequest to tackle. "Nobara is barely strong, however she can keep up with them. Yuji on the other hand is insanely strong, unfortunately he is new to this world… Kumagawa. Well, Kumagawa is Kumagawa. It is a fool's job to worry about him" Gojo shrugged thinking about his last student.

He doesn't know why but just thinking of Kumagawa brings a chill that he didn't think he would feel. Gojo encountered a lot of madness throughout his life yet the insanity which is called Kumagawa differs from the rest. He is an enigmatic creature that his Six Eyes could not understand, a human that seemed to stand in the top yet Gojo can't help but sense him on the ground.

The last few days were hectic for Gojo since he had goosebumps all over his body during that time. He was confused and was dedicated to finding the source of that fear. He followed his track within his mind and reached a single singularity.

His Six Eyes can remember a lot of things and for it to find a gap within his memory is abnormal.

He could not locate the memory of a mere 5 minutes event.

Normally Gojo would shrug it off and think it is just a bug but he is strangely piqued this time. He has a raging feeling that something happened during this short amount of time. A phenomenon so absurd that even his body shivered just from thinking about it.

The only thing Gojo knows about that time is that both him and Kumagawa were attacked by a special grade curse and as they were about to exorcize it, the curse was rescued. That was all. Gojo could not help but be suspicious about his companion at that time. Knowing Kumagawa's ability, Gojo did not remove the possibility of his memory being erased. No, it was the only logical explanation. Gojo is sure of that.

"Sigh, thinking about that boy is giving me headaches. I should buy some snacks later~" he sighed, holding his head. He decided that it was time to stop pondering and focus more on the show being presented. That entertainment did not last long though as his phone rang indicating a call. He took it and stared at the name showing IJICHI~ on it.

Gojo accepted the call, "Ijichi, if this is not important then I will slap the hell out of you" he said. As expected, it shook the other person but with his experience, he immediately regained his clarity. "W-Well, this is important.." Ijichi stuttered, wiping the sweat on his forehead. He could not believe that the guy he was ordered to observe had caused another trouble. "Hurry up and say it. I am busy here" Gojo waved his hand in annoyance.

Ijichi sighed and finally spoke, "I-It's about your student… Kumagawa Misogi" he said. This instantly took Gojo's attention, "Hm? What about him?" He asked, sounding curious. The smile on his face was not hidden. "About that… he met Grade 1 Sorcerer Todo Aoi and… they are now fighting" Ijichi sighed in relief as he finally released the information.

Gojo stood up looking excited. "Is that so? Damn, certainly did not expect that. Where are they? I'll come immediately~" Gojo patted his hand and quickly teleported to the place stated by Ijichi.

What he didn't know was that just shortly after he left a man appeared. "I guess it went according to plan? Haha, I really want to see this potential vessel that Geto mentioned!" the man grinned as he jumped around happily.

When Gojo arrived at the scene, even he could not help but frown at how brutal it was. "Woah, he really did mess this one up. What's wrong with him?" Gojo muttered getting closer to the civilians that was pinned on the wall by Kumagawa. Although he was used to seeing brutal things, it is still not nice to just ignore it. Gojo slowly ripped the screws off, not wanting to cause them to suffer more.

He wanted to bring Shoko here since he can't use RCT to others but sadly now is not the time. After carefully removing everything, he finally went to the center where he saw a girl crucified. "This is a disgusting hobby… gotta teach that brat later" Gojo said, shaking his head. He carefully ripped the screws before catching the girl who fell.

Putting all the unconscious bodies on the side, Gojo decided that it was time to see the spectacle. He swiftly went to the scene and was stunned by how crazy it was. Usually fights from lower level don't interest him but this time, two people with great potential are facing each other. "Heeh~ I thought that Kumagawa would just end it immediately. He seems distracted by something though…" Gojo commented, erecting a barrier to keep away normal citizens.

He watched as Todo and Kumagawa exchanged fist. Kumagawa was overwhelmed yet he showed determination. Gojo whistled when he saw Todo activate Black Flash causing some serious damage to Kumagawa. Kumagawa on the other hand was pushing his screws intending to hit Todo but it was futile since the man's IQ predicted all.

Gojo opened one of his eyes smiling lightly, "Aha, it appears that he is finally taking this down" he commented observing a particular change in one of their faces.

Kumagawa stopped mid air which gave Todo the chance to blast the hell out of him. [Sigh… No matter how hard I try, I can't picture myself winning] Kumagawa suddenly said, alarming both Gojo and Todo. They sensed an ominous aura being released from Kumagawa. It was creepy yet marvelous at the same time.

"Oops, this is looking bad" Gojo commented. Todo on the other hand was engulfed in pressure that is forcing his mind to go insane. His IQ is having a hard time calculating and even Takada-chan(Imagination) is telling him to be careful. He is aware that Kumagawa was just playing with him earlier, that is why he used everything he had in the beginning in hopes of achieving victory.

"No… I can't back down here. If I retreat without exacting revenge for Takada-chan then I would become a person I hated the most. Hypocrites are shit!" Todo gritted his teeth and convinced himself. He doesn't know if he is doing it to encourage or perhaps just a last ditch before death.

Todo blinked and that was his last perception of reality.

His body flew surpassing the speed of sound.

Fire was ignited from the friction created from such speed.

Without giving him a chance to even move, Kumagawa already started throwing Todo around destroying every piece of hope he had.

Mercy is quite a vague word for Kumagawa and his action right now exhibited that trait of his.

Stomping on the back of Todo, Kumagawa grabbed both of his hands backwards and dislocated his shoulders. After doing that, he grabbed Todo's left leg and twisted it until it came off. The blood spurted, showering Kumagawa with it. Unlike a normal reaction, Kumagawa was smiling happily at the sight. He was broken beyond sense.

Understanding finally dawned to Todo. He looked at the sky for the one last time appreciating the life he has lived. 'I… never had the chance right…? Can I call this a loss? No.. the fact that he changed means that I win… damn it' Todo thought closing his eyes accepting his inevitable end.

He could no longer clap his hands after all rendering his ability useless. What else could he do at this situation? In fact, he is better than the others Kumagawa tormented. He is lucky that he didn't experience the abomination called Kumagawa.

A special screw appeared on Kumagawa's hand. It reeks negativity. He took a last look at Todo before pushing the screw at Todo's gut.

With that as a trigger, the human being called Todo Aoi descended into the weakest creature in existence. His mind and body could not handle the regression as it exploded. His brain and whole body disintegrated into nothingness.
