16 Chapter 15- Sweetly~

"How is she?" It was uncommon for Gojo Satoru to sound so heavy and concerned for someone. However considering that this 'someone' was one of his students, it was given that he would be distressed.

It has been over an hour since that incident concluded through the devastating blow, Ryuuji bestowed upon the behemoth; ceasing its life in a full swoop.

However, no one expected that just being around the behemoth would cause the students to suffer this much—to the point, that Nobara, Toge, and Miwa would be bedridden with their complexion, paler than a sheet.

"Apart from the physical injuries they incurred, their Cursed Energy has been depleted to the bare minimum. Although they would regain their Cursed Energy within a week of rest, the psychological trauma might be more severe than any other damage."

Hearing Shoko's assessment of the case, Gojo couldn't help sighing.

Everything went out of order, once the Special Grade Cursed Spirit sneaked through the school barrier and interfered with the event. The being into which the Cursed Spirit turned was anything but predictable—even for Satoru.

Without Ryuuji around, Gojo wasn't sure he could've taken down that thing without putting his students' lives at risk.

"Can you stay here for tonight, just in case?" Hearing Gojo's request, Shoko nodded without much thought. She didn't have any urgent cases in her lab, and the state in which the students were, made her concerned as well.

Gojo soon walked out of the room.

He has been summoned by the higher-ups already and Principal Yaga was there as well. The orders included the presence of Ryuuji in the meeting as well, however, considering his personality, Satoru didn't expect him to attend.

Regardless, he wasn't going to force Ryuuji to come with him.

"Sensei...are they okay?" It was, surprisingly Megumi who asked first once Gojo walked out of the room.

Yuji and Mechamaru were also present along with Panda and Maki on the other side. Thankfully, they left the forest early on, because of Ryuuji's warning. Although Maki seemed a little disoriented after confronting the Special grade, she was still in a condition to look tough.

"No doubt! You can count on adults!" Gojo proudly announced to elevate the heavy atmosphere amongst the students.

However, looking at their gloomy faces, it seemed his attempt was a failure.

Suddenly, Yuji got up from the ground and walked toward none other than the silent swordsman, who was looking at nothing particular.

"Ryuuji-senpai, can you also teach me, how to defeat that thing? I am aware that the Cursed Spirit we fought was far stronger and different than any other Cursed Spirit...that's why-"

"And what about the other guy?" Hearing Ryuuji's voice, Yuji was taken aback.

Gojo grinned before he asked, "Are you talking Sukuna?"

A round of gasps resonated across the lobby upon hearing the name of the infamous King of Curses.

Ryuuji retained his focus on the pinkhead in front, making Yuji a bit nervous. During the battle, it seemed Yuji heard something from Sukuna, but the adrenaline of the fight didn't allow him to listen to his words properly.

"I-I don't remember..." Yuji honestly replied.

Ryuuji seemed intrigued, whether the King of Cursed would comment something here. But to no avail.

"Ryuuji-senpai, do you know something about that thing? After all, you seemed to be the only one who adapted to fighting that creature."

Ryuuji raised his brows hearing Megumi's opinion. He didn't know that Megumi was looking at the battle so keenly to come out with such a conclusion.

However, it wasn't like Ryuuji was going to deny Megumi. After all, the blindfolded entity standing a few meters away has already discerned Ryuuji's knowledge of that abomination.

However,

"I know but I won't tell you."

Ryuuji was aware that Mechamaru was involved with Geto a.k Kenjaku as such the information over Evil Fragments might work in Geto's favor if he gets early access to the information.

As such, Ryuuji decided to keep things to himself for the time being.

There was a subtle frown on Gojo's face, however, before he could say anything, it was Maki who rebuked Ryuuji,

"Despite knowing that we might have to face that creature again, you are keeping things secret about it. Such a selfish bastard, you are!"

Maki's words, despite being spoken rudely, were on point. Although there were Cursed Spirits of unique kinds, there was still a possibility that the sorcerer might have to face another adversary with similar powers as the abomination. And given how even Gojo was struggling against it, the need to prepare against such a force of nature elevates drastically.

Ryuuji grinned at that before he disappeared from the spot—surprising Yuji—and appeared right before Maki.

Maki was momentarily stunned seeing such a speed but she soon regained her scowl and glared at him in complaint.

"Ask me nicely....sweetly, then I might tell you. But just you tho...."

"Ho~"

"Hehe~" Only Panda and Gojo reacted with a flowery smile, while Megumi and Mechamaru remained nonchalant.

Yuji was...covering his eyes with his palms given how close Ryuuji was to the green head.

The evident blush on Maki's face elevated the tension in the air. However, unlike before, this kind of heaviness was far better.

Maki glared at the boy in front while gritting her teeth. Why does he have to be such a rascal?

However, she didn't get any other option. More than anyone present here, she knew, how obstinate Ryuuji could become if he decided on something.

"P-Please...t-tell us..."

Ryuuji grinned before he asked, "...a little more soft? And please say my name when you ask."

Maki audibly sighed in pure exasperation, before a strained smile stretched her lips and the girl spoke,

"P-Please tell us...a-about that Spirit...R-Ryuuji-kun..."

The smile that adorned Ryuuji's lips throughout the struggle, made Maki, even more agitated. However, she swallowed her pride for the well-being of her friends.

In response, Ryuuji leaned forward and whispered for only her to hear,

"....how about you come to my room tonight and we continue this chat?"
