Taking place years after the events of Jujutsu Kaisen, the world is now aware of the existence of cursed spirits. However, this caused the unintended effect of humans leaking out more negative emotions, and thus, more cursed spirits coming into existence. //Disclaimer: The following is non-profit fan story, Jujutsu Kaisen is owned Gege Akutami. 『Glitch』: Curses... a race of malevolent spiritual beings manifested as a result of the negative emotions that flow out of humans. No ordinary citizens had known of their existence, until the Jujutsu terrorist known as Kenjaku attempted to forcibly evolve humanity with the being known as Tengen.
On December 24th in 2018, thanks to the efforts of the efforts of the former vessel of Sukuna, Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo and many others, Kenjaku's plans were foiled and the great "King of Curses" Ryomen Sukuna was killed. While there was no official information on who survived the final battle, the select few who witnessed the aftermath noted that the battle was nothing more, than a bloodbath.
As a result of the battle, and the intervention of foreign invaders, many of Japan's citizens inadvertently leaked out an extremely large amount of uncontrolled cursed energy, causing powerful curses to emerge. To combat this, governments across the world had followed the steps of the now destroyed Jujutsu Society, and established the profession of exterminators called Jujutsu Sorcerers to help contain the influx of curses. This, is the story of one such Jujutsu Sorcerer.
Our tale begins on a dark and stormy day, the color, drained away matching the gloomy grey clouds above, with only the neon lights of the city buildings somewhat bringing color to the urban environment.
Sirens go off in the background, while groups of people in school uniforms run through the school halls in a panic.
"What the hell is that thing?!" One of the students exclaims in fear.
While the continue to run through the halls, something covered by the shadows grabs some of the students, pulling them into the abyss of darkness, with their screams being the last thing echoing through the halls.
"All available units, we've got reports of an unidentified cursed spirit causing havoc at Satozakura High School. Danger level raised from Grade 4 cursed spirit to Grade 3." The unknown voice from the radio exclaims while drowning out the sounds of terror and death in the background.
We cut to the outside of the school, where police vehicles surround the entrance, and the red and blue lights light up the area.
"Alright everyone, I want you all to remain calm and stay behind the police tape. We need everyone to keep away from the area until the Jujutsu Sorcerers deal with the spirit." The unnamed police officer says to the panicking citizens.
Standing beside the officers are two suited men who observe the panicking citizens, both maintaining a stoic expression.
"Geez, so many people. You'd think the association would've done something about it by now." One of the suited men comments.
"Relax... it's not like you're in there trying to kill this damn curse. Now just do your job and make sure no one gets in or any curses get out." The elder of the two says, scolding his colleague.
"Right, sorry." The suited young man says while pouting
"Buuut, just out of curiosity, who did the boss send in there anyway?" The young man asks.
The older suited man lights up a cigarette, while keeping the rain away from the flame burning on his lighter.
"Well, let's just say he sent his favorite hunter in there." The middle aged man says.
"Oh dear, don't tell me he sent the kid." He says flabbergasted.
"Indeed he did." He says confirming the young man's suspicion.
The younger of the two leans against the building wall while having his hands rub against each other to keep warm.
"Man, how did the boss even find someone so cheap to hire?" The young man asks.
"That's the funny thing. He found him on accident." The older man says shocking his junior. "Apparently, he found him just out in the open when he was a baby. Figured that if no one wanted him, then he would adopt the kid and put him to work." He continues.
"I mean, I guess that makes sense. So, what kind of technique does this kid have?" The young man asks.
"None." The eldest says blankly.
"So, he has cursed energy, but no technique?"
"No, I mean he has no cursed technique or energy." The middle aged man answers.
"Huh?! But then why would the boss have him go in alone?!" The young man asks in confusion.
"Well, lets just say... the kids a tough bastard to kill." The older man says, letting out a breath of smoke.
While the sirens go off outside, we hear the sounds of echoing footsteps, slowly getting louder due to the quietness of the hallway.
"Man, I wonder how much money the boss will give me for killing this Grade 3 cursed spirit. " A young man says, emerging from the shadows.
"I hope it's a lot more than the last time." He continues.
Suddenly, a loud crash is heard in the distance, and we see the young man ready himself in a fighting stance, while holding a metal bat in his hand.
"Okay... come on out little cursed spirit. Help me make some moolah." The young man says under his breath.
The sounds wriggling begin to make themselves known, as tentacles begin to fly at the young man, who merely blocks the attacks with his metal bat. With a twisted grin on his face, the young man adjusts the goggles on his forehead onto his eyes, and lets out a mighty battle cry.

"Okay ugly. Let's dance!" He says while showing off a twisted grin.

Moments pass, and we see the two suited men from before, seeing the cursed spirit fade away in front of them.
"Holy crap..." The youngest of the two comments.
"Told ya. That boy is a tough bastard to kill." The older suited man says to his young colleague. "That's why he's the bosses favorite. That, and he's cheap."
The middle aged man walks towards the fading corpse, meeting face to face with the young man who exorcised the spirit.
"Good job, Dante. Given that the cursed spirit was stronger than the job description, I'd say they'd pay us around an extra 500,000 yen. Giving us 1,250,000 yen in total." The middle aged man says to him.
Dante: Seriously?! That's awesome. So what do I get sir?
"Well, aside from my 50% cut, and other expenses, etcetera. That leaves you with 10,000 yen." The middle aged man says, handing the young man an envelope with the cash.
The young man, now known as Dante inspects the money with disappointment on his face.
"Is something wrong?" The middle aged man asks the boy.
Dante: Oh, it's nothing, Mr. Haruko. Thank you.
"Good, now get outta here you scamp. I'll notify the boss of the job completion." The middle aged man now known as Mr. Haruko said to him.
He begins to walk away from the two, while wiping the purple blood like substance from his bat.
"I don't get it sir. Why does the boss use a kid like him to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer? Sure he's cheap, but... shouldn't you have a say in his decisions? You're the bosses brother after all." The young associate asks him.
"Me being the bosses younger brother has no power in this. If the boss says the boy fights the curse, then that's, that. Besides, he give the boss money to cover the costs of him looking after him for all these years." Mr. Haruko explains. "After all, if it wasn't for the boss, he would've died a long time ago."
"But is it really okay for him to be a Jujutsu Sorcerer?" The older associate asks. "What if he starts getting high and mighty and starts wanting more money? Or even control of the business. The boss see's him like a son after all."
"Do not worry. He won't be a problem. Though it is annoying that he's the bosses favorite. Oh well, better to have a monkey like him doing the dirty work than us." Mr. Haruko comments.
We see Dante walking through the dirty streets of the city, with graffiti all over the wall, while barely any sunlight touches the dark corners. He inspects the money in the envelope, sighing's under his breath, while rubbing the envelope across his forehead.
"I know my position is very low, but he could've at least given me more cash." Dante comments to himself. "The other two didn't even do anything besides stand around. Still, I hope I have enough to get food for me and Hachi."
After a couple of hours, we see him approach a run down apartment building, holding a bag of cheap food. However while reaching for the keys in his pocket, his attention gets taken away when he see's two girls, seemingly in their twenties pass him by him, his face displaying a small blush, before entering the apartment building.
"Hachi, I'm home!" Dante calls out.
Coming from one of the rooms of the one room apartment, a dog with three legs walks towards him, his tail wagging at the site of seeing him.
"Yes, yes. I'm happy to see you two, boy." Dante says with a smile smile. "Come, lets eat."
After eating their "dinner" they two relax on the floor, covering themselves with a dirty blanket while watching the pouring rain from the window. During this time, we see Dante try to close his eyes and begin to sleep, but flashes of an unknown memory pop into his head, annoying him slightly. The memory of a young woman he doesn't recognise, with flowing black hair.
"It's that same dream again." Dante mutters. "Just who is she?"
Hachi pops out from the dirty blanket, looking at Dante with an ignorant look on his face.
"Don't worry, Hachi. Nothing for you to be concerned about." Dante reassures the dog.
The two close their eyes, resting in the darkness, before eventually being woken up by the sunlight.
He lays his head back on the ground, staring up at the ceiling, while his face bears an expression he is too familiar with, aimlessness.
"You know... when I see other people enjoying their everyday, I can't help but wonder if we'll one day experience that." Dante monologues. "Eating good food, hanging out with people my age, experiencing love. I wanna learn about all sorts of things. But the way things are, I doubt that will ever happen."
Hachi lets out a small bark, before nuzzling his head into Dante's.
"Well, as long as I have you by my side, then I have nothing to worry about." Dante says while petting the dog.
However, their precious moment is quickly interrupted, with a knock on the door.
"Dante, the boss wants to speak with you." A male voice yells out.
"Huh? The boss? Alright, I'm coming!" Dante yells back. "Don't worry Hachi. I'll make sure to come back safely."
After grabbing his metal bat, he exits the apartment, seeing Mr. Haruko outside his door. He follows the man to his car, getting into the backseat, while rubbing his hands on the clean interior.
"So, mind telling me what the boss wants to talk with me about?" Dante asks him.
"You'll be told by the boss himself, so be quiet." The associate tells him.
After a lengthy car ride, we see Dante and the older associate walk into an abandoned warehouse, with Dante looking around in awe.
"Wow, this is the bosses main base? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's run down, but still. Can't believe you're letting me in your main base." Dante comments.
He looks around, before fixating his focus on a slightly older middle aged man. Wearing a trench coat and a fedora.
"Ahh, Dante. Glad you got here safely." An elderly gentlemen says while his associates stand beside him.
"Thank you boss." Dante says while rubbing the back of his head. "So, what job do you have for me now?"
"All will be told in time. For now, follow me, young man." The elderly man says to him.
He nods his head and follows the elderly man, while Mr. Haruko and the other associates stay near the entrance.
"Dante, we're grateful to you, you know that, right?" The elderly man says to him.
"Huh?" Dante lets out.
"Most of the associates here don't have any powerful cursed techniques or large amounts of cursed energy, so the fact you're doing the dirty work for them is something that I appreciate. I'd say you alone are more useful than half the people here."
"Oh, well thank you boss. It makes me happy that you say that." Dante says to him.
"But, the reason I asked you to come here isn't because of a new job." He says, confusing Dante. "I, like to apologize to you, Dante."
"What do you mean, boss?" Dante asks him.
"Ever since I found you, all I've done is put you to work, taking the money you rightfully earned and having you live in a shitty apartment, barely able to survive. That is something that no child should have to go through. And for that, I'm sorry.
Dante goes to open his mouth, but the boss merely waves his hand, signaling him to not speak.
"That is why, to repent for my actions, I want you to go to my office, and take all the money from the safe."
"Wait, seriously? But why all of it?!" Dante shouts in confusion.
"Because I want you to live your life, not be tied down by me or this business. Besides, it's the money I've gotten in private, so I do what I want with it" The boss responds. "The others are hired by me to kill curses, but you, I practically forced you to do this dirty work. And I don't want you dying in this line of work because of my lack of responsibility."
"So please Dante, take the money, and live your life."
"Sorry boss. But I don't think that will be happening." A deep male voice calls out.
The two turn behind them to see Mr. Haruko aiming a pistol at the two, while the other associates stand behind him.
"Kenshi! What is the meaning of this?!!" The boss asks him.
"Kenshi?" Dante says confused.
"Sorry brother. The guys and I were talking, and we believe that you're not fit to run this business. Especially given what crap you just tried to pull." Mr. Haruko says to him. "Nothing personal, it's just business."
He shoots the pistol, with the bullets shooting into the bosses stomach and lungs, causing him to fall to the floor.
"Boss!" Dante yells out.
However, in a split second, Dante feels a stabbing sensation on his upper torso, as he looks down to see a sharp blade pass through him, before he begins to bleed out of his mouth.

He begins to scream violently in confusion, as more blades puncture through his torso, while Kenshi, taking a puff out of his cigar, approaches the young man.
"We appreciate all that you have done for us, Dante, we really do. But I'm afraid I can't have you interfering with "my business."" Kenshi says to him. "While my brother may treat you like a son, here in the "real world" I couldn't give two shits who you are."
"You're nothing more than a tool, a cog in an endless machine of kill and be killed. And much like a cog, if you need to be replaced, I can do that without any issue. Unfortunately for you, you've already served your purpose, and are no longer useful to me."
"It's a shame though, a monkey like you could've been better suited as our disposable pawn. But my brother's already given you some incentive to leave, so I'm nipping this problem in the bud before it becomes a big problem.
With a snap of his fingers, his associates drags Dante over to the pit nearby, with it seemingly being endless. Kenshi, grabbing Dante by the head, puts the cigarette bud on his head, creating a small burn scar on his forehead.
"Enjoy what's on the other side, Dante. It's the last thing you'll ever see." Kenshi says to him.
After pulling out the blades from his body, Kenshi kicks Dante into the pit and see's him plummet into the endless abyss, hearing a distinct thud sound.
"Alright guys, let the spirit do it's thing and lets get to work." Kenshi tells his associates.
We see Dante on the ground in the pit, his legs and neck having snapped completely, while the sounds of stomping can be heard approaching his body, the ground shaking from the immense force of each step.
Dante, unable to move, can only stay still while the large cursed spirit approaches him and lifts him from the ground and easily drops him into it's mouth, with the spirit seeming laughing in glee at getting a meal.
As Dante rests, mangled in the bowels of the cursed spirit, he weakly groans, desperately trying to move his broken body.
"No, I can't die here. I made a promise... to Hachi, that I would come back home safely." He thinks to himself. "I can't die like this."
But no matter how hard he tried, his body wouldn't move, only being able to cry from his inability to do anything.
"Dammit. All I wanted to was to live a normal life. Eat good food with Hachi, and all that other stuff." Dante begins to vent out. "Why... why did it have to be this way? Hachi... I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to you, but I'm afraid I won't be coming home anymore. I'm... sorry."
"But before I go, I'm going to take something from this bastard for myself."
Dante, some how able to move his mouth, begins to take a bite from the cursed spirits guts, pulling off a small chunk of and swallowing it. However, upon swallowing it, Dante begins to feel a sudden surge of unknown power, his legs seemingly regenerating back and his neck being fixed from it's broken state.
After some time, we see the group of fifteen associates gathering at the front, while Kenshi stands in front of them.
"Alright boys, now that the boss has been disposed of, this business will be under new management. I know that things will be annoying in the first few months, without the kid and all. But we'll be able to-"
His speech is soon interrupted however, when he hears the sounds of echoing footsteps approaching him.
"Whoever you are, you're late. Now line up with the rest and-"
However, upon getting a better look at the approaching individual, his eyes widen in shock, seeing none other, than Dante, covered in purple blood.

"What the hell. How did you-"
"Survive?' Dante finishes. "To be honest, I'm not sure either. But I do have to say. That cursed spirit didn't really taste good."
The sky crackles lightning, while rain begins to hit the metal roof.
"Wait... you ate a cursed spirit? How is that possible?" Kenshi says in confusion.
"I don't know." Dante responds. "But enough about how I survived. Lets see if you assholes can put up a decent fight."
"Idiot child. Against all of us, you don't stand a chance." Kenshi says to him.
Dante, putting his metal bat on his shoulder, begins to smile sinisterly, while staring down at the new boss.
"What's the matter? Afraid you can't face me alone?" Dante mocks.
Kenshi, feeling insulted by the boys accusation, waves his hand and commands his lackeys to surround the boy.
"Lets dance!" Dante shouts out.
The group of men begin to rush towards him, each bearing some sort of weapon in their hands, but Dante disappears in the blink of an eye, suddenly appearing in front of Kenshi.
"What's the matter, old man?" Dante says mockingly. "Couldn't see me? Better get your eyes checked out gramps."
Kenshi, bringing out his gun, begins to shoot at Dante, who merely stands completely still taking the bullets head on. After doing so, the bullet holes begin to suddenly close up.
"What the- What in the hell are you?!" Kenshi yells out.
Dante begins to laugh sinisterly, while Kenshi's men begin to pierce his body with Katana's and other sharp weapons.
"It's just like you said, old man. I'm nothing but a monkey. A monkey that's going to end you all!!" Dante says in between laughs.
He begins to rotate himself, with the blades seemingly breaking off his body, before he whacks the heads of the nearby associates, cracking their skulls open.
"Wow, I don't know what that cursed spirit did to me, but I like this!" Dante says in joy.
Two more swordsmen try to decapitate Dante, but the young man merely shatters the on coming blades, before swinging his bat at their abdomens.
Kenshi begins to shoot at Dante again, however, instead of tanking the shots, he quickly dodges the attacks and heads towards Kenshi.
Having grabbed the broken blade still implanted in his torso, he then throws it at Kenshi, piercing through his head, with a violent spurt of blood shooting out of his head. After Kenshi falls to the ground dead, Dante turns towards the remaining associates, with a bloody smile on his face.
"So... are you guys itching for some too?" Dante asks them.
Filled with adrenaline, the remaining associates charge towards Dante, who merely scream out loud, before being subsequently silenced by Dante, who's fight was left to the imagination.
After some time, we see Dante standing over a mountain of corpses, while gripping onto his metal bat, until he hears the metal door open.
"Oh? What's this? You don't look like any cursed spirit I've seen before. Perhaps you're a vengeful spirit taken form?" The suited man says nonchalantly. ""Nah, you don't give me the vibe of a vengeful spirit. Whatever you are, you seem rather interesting."
Dante turns to the source of the noise to see a man in his late twenties standing at the entrance of the building, while staring him down.
"Woah... now that's what I call an evil glare. Tell me, are you perhaps wanting to kill me?" He asks the young man while posing.

Dante, gives the man a sinister grin, before letting his savagery take over, charging at him with his metal bat, having suddenly appeared in front of the suited man. However, the attack is soon blocked by a shadowy chain emerging from the ground seemingly surprising him.
"My, my, you really are fast. It's a shame that you weren't fast enough." The suited man says mockingly.
More shadow chains emerge from the ground, wrapping themselves around Dante, before forcing him to kneel.
"But that's okay. You've peaked my curiosity, so I'll keep you alive for now. For now, just relax." He says before placing two fingers on Dante's forehead.
Dante falls unconscious, quickly dropping to the ground, with the suited man quickly picking him up and grabbing his phone.
"Hello, this is Masaru. Can I get a couple of doctors on standby?" He says to the phone. "I've got someone here that is definitely going to give them a field day."
He closes his phone, before walking away from the building, carrying the young man on his shoulder.
"I wonder what kind of chaos you'll bring. young man." The man now known as Masaru comments. "I bet you'll make things very interesting for me."
He walks away from the building, while the sky above begins to clear up.
