It's not there!!

A/N: For those who don't know, Saiki Kusuo is the main character of the comedy gag anime, Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan. He is a gag character like Saitama from OPM. Extremely OP with a shit ton of psychic powers.

3rd POV

Saiki never thought it would end like that.

'Good grief!'

He always thought of his powers as a pain in the ass. After finally saving the world from getting destroyed by those earthquakes, he thought he could finally get to live the normal life he desired so much. But things went too awry.

Billions of robotic beings from another dimension arriving in his world to do what? Only destroy.

That was the first and the last time he ever used his powers to his utmost limits. Using his extraordinary powers, Saiki alone defeated the army of those robots. But was only able to do so at the cost of his life. Using his sliver of exhausted powers, he erased his existence from the world.

'Ah. It was fun. Still, I wanted that normal life.' He thought in his last moments. Only to open his eyes in front of a baby with angel wings.

"W-What?" he said in confusion.

"You finally woke up, Kusuo-kun." The angel baby said with a smile. But you could see a tinge of sadness in his face.

"Y-you appeared during the 100th and the 240th episode. Didn't I die? Why am I alive?" Saiki asked in confusion.

"Ah. I forgot to introduce myself. I represent the author. Or the so-called Overseer of the Universe you lived in. And yes. Omae Wa Mo Shinde Iru!" the baby floating in front of him bowed his head a bit, then said those iconic words with a Kenshiro chad face.

"Nice to meet you. So, what exactly is going on?" Saiki said completely ignoring his words.

"You ignored my words, huh. Yes, you died. And honestly, even with your powers, we did not expect you to destroy those robots like that. Since you never had the actual opportunity of using them to your fullest, we thought you might lose. I have to say, it was a spectacular fight. Especially against that Galaxy Buster. Using hundreds of those Void Bombs..." the baby kept on going and Saiki too slowly reminisced about that fight.

Even though he wanted to live a mundane life without any unnecessary problems or unwanted attention, that fight felt exhilarating. For the first time, he could...exist without any restraints. While fighting, he felt...free.

Either way, it doesn't matter now. He died, and it was all over.

"So what now? Why even this conversation?" Saiki asked.

"Well, after you have done all that much, I thought 'Why not give him something' and I can get you to reincarnate again. That is if you want me to."

"Can I go back to my previous life?" he asked genuinely.

"That's not possible. But there are other options th-"

"No. Thank you." Saiki replied immediately. If he would be sent back to his family and friends, he might have accepted it.

If not, it really wouldn't matter.

"What? I definitely thought you would accept it. You read a lot of manga and those isekai stories in your high school, right? This truly is a problem. Still, I don't have any other option either.

If you were to be reborn anew without memories and as a new baby, you will still get back those powers. Your soul is that strong after all." The angel baby said with fluster.

"Good Grief. Aren't you some kind of God? Can't you do something about it?" Saiki asked. {A/N: I'm gonna use that catchphrase for a few chapters as it was Saiki's catchphrase.}

"It's the rules. I can't directly weaken someone's soul."

"Just...be done with it. Whatever you want to do, I just want to be as uninteresting as possible."

"That's not possible. Your soul is too strong. But I'll do whatever I can."

And like that, the angel baby initiated the reincarnation process. But before doing that, he sealed most of the soul energy along with his memories. That soul energy, with time, will reshape into some power based on his desires which will hopefully be in his control.

Once the process started, vast amounts of energy were released for the purpose of breaking through multiple realities. Saiki's soul traveled and traveled through those realities and what was in between.

Even as a soul, Saiki possessed a subconscious. He felt something trying to attack to his soul.

[Overpowered System]

'Huh. Fuck off.' He swatted away the connection from that foreign entity subconsciously.

As he was moving through dimensions, many of those systems tried to connect to his soul yet he was strong enough and capable enough to smack the connections away all while being subconscious.

[Gamer System], [Overgeared System], [Gacha System], [Training System], [Skill Proficiency System], [Harem System], [...]

Saiki was annoyed at how many of these things were trying to connect to him.

Soon, he reached the destination world. Even though it was random, the angel baby put in his effort and increased the chances of Saiki entering a modern-setting world.

Saiki directly entered into a newly formed fetus and his whole consciousness slowly slipped away from him. Most of his soul's power would be sealed for an indefinite time along with his memories.

~ 16 years later~

August, 2018 - Kyoto Metropolitan Curse Technical College

With a groan, Saiki wakes up finding himself in a girl's room.

It took him a few moments to get a hold of himself.

'Where the heck am I?' Getting up from the bed, he starts remembering what happened before he fell unconscious.

Destroying those robots, meeting the angel baby, traveling through dimensions, entering into a soulless fetus, and falling unconscious.

'What is this energy around me? It's also in my stomach.'

Going towards a mirror and looking at himself, he was-

'What kind of sick dream is this?' He screamed internally and slapped himself real hard to wake up from such a cruel nightmare. He looked like a girl. A beautiful one at that.

"Did I become a trap or what?" He said to himself.

Touching his cheek that he slapped hard,

"Ahn!" He moaned slightly in pain. What made it confusing for him was not that it was no longer a dream but because even his voice sounded feminine. That confusion turned into fear of doubt.

Then looking properly, the chest was not a chest but there were nicely developed breasts. They were not properly visible because of the loose T-shirt.

[Author's Note: In case you're concerned, this is not a gender-bender story. He will revert back to a male. I just wanted to write a Mai Zenin story because...it appeared in my head.]

"No! No! No!" Touching himself down below, His fears turned out true.

His little brother was not there. But he didn't go into full panic mode. It was not his first time being a female. All he had to was change his gender using his powers. But,

'I don't have my powers anymore.' He grimaced recalling what he asked the angel baby for.

~A few moments later

Within a minute, he calmed down. It was not the first time he was in a weird situation. But still, this time he had no powers.

Either way, he needed to know his situation. Where he was, who he was, what can he do? All those questions needed to be answered. One puzzling thing was that the face he looked at in the mirror was somehow familiar to him.

As he was having these thoughts, he heard a Ding! in his head.

[Booting...]

[Establishing Connection...]

[Gacha Rewards System has been rooted]

[Blocked Memories have been found]

[Merging Memories...Failed.]

[Finding the cause...]

[Cause found. Limited Cerebral Capabilities.]

[Rewiring Neural Pathways]

[Enhancing Mental Capabilities]

[Merging Memories...Successful.]

Just as he saw those words, he had a throbbing pain in his head and he fell unconscious again.

~Many moments later~

Saiki Kusuo- or to be more precise, Mai Zenin woke up.

"Good Grief."

He was no longer a he but a she.

Even though Saiki never cared about his gender much, now, without his powers, he felt it. His powerlessness. In fact, he needed those powers more than ever now that he received the memories. He knew the world he was in. It was the world of Jujutsu Kaisen.

In his past life, he watched the first season and read a few chapters of the manga.

"To think these worlds exist." he then recalled the robots he fought against. Apparently, according to the angel baby, they weren't from the Universe he was from. That confirmed the existence of the Multiverse and Outerverses.

Then he heard a voice,

"Dear Kusuo-kun.

This is the Overseer speaking. If you're listening to this, that means, you have successfully reincarnated and received your memories.

As you've asked, I made it so that all the power in your soul converts into some other tangible power that is actually under your control and will be helpful.

The power would approximately take the same time to form as the time your memories unlock.

Hope you enjoy your new life."

'The power is my system? Or is it something else?' Saiki who is now Mai pondered.

[A/N: From now on, I will call him/her Mai. Mai is a gender-neutral name. And I will use 'he' even though he's female.]

"Still, I don't even find it weird." Even after being thrown into a new life, even after becoming and living as a female for more than fifteen years, the memories didn't bother him/her. It was like they truly belonged to him.

'Oh. The system. System?' He mentally spoke. Even though he received the new memories, his past habit of talking mentally was not gone. With telepathy, he used to speak directly into others' minds instead of talking with his mouth. Hopefully, it goes away quickly.

[Yes. Do you want to know my features?]

'Are you sentient?'

[I can be considered a semi-sentient System as I don't have any emotions.]

'What even are you?'

[I'm something that was created through the inner essence of your soul. Somehow, I was influenced into becoming a System. Now, as a system, I'm ethereally connected to other Multiverses and the everlasting Omniverse.]

He didn't comprehend properly but got the gist of it.

'Alright. Show me your functions.'

[- My main function is to provide rewards based on your actions.

- Quests, be they Open, Goal-oriented, Hidden, or Mandatory will be provided which will give you Gacha.

- Even though I named all those, there will only be two types of Quests. One is Open Quest, and the other is Hidden Quest.

- Quests usually appear based on the actions you take and those actions' consequences. Completing them, you're rewarded with Gacha.

- Gacha will provide random rewards ranging from items to skills and abilities to knowledge. It could be anything.

- Generally, the rewards are a bit leaned toward your needs, wants, and also the world you are currently living in.

- Any reward be they a skill, an item, knowledge, or ability, will be in the form of Cards with descriptions.

- Apart from the main function, you can also check your Status, ask me for advice, or help with navigation regarding the System]

'This is certainly great but not overpowered.' It also depended somewhat on luck.

Mai knew the world and its future dangers. Luckily, he can at least survive with this power.

"I still want my normal life back."

Now he can actually do that but still, the world would descend into chaos, and nothing would remain normal. So, unwillingly, he has to do something about it.
