1 Blog 1: Assertiveness

Hello wazzup! So Hello guys welcome to my Chapter 😂🤣. Well, vloggers are very typical nowadays, and since I am camera shy type of person, I'll do it here. Also blogging is very old school. 😎

It's 19th of November 2019 and while walking on my way home after work, I decided to drop by on the grocery to grab some stuff. Carrying my basket with some items I fall in line on Counter 6 for payment. The Cashier was soooooo slow but it's okay. I was next on a man when suddenly a middle aged woman walked beside me and talking something I couldn't heard clearly. I thought she was with the man in front of me so I didn't react at first. Then when the man move forward because he is next to pay, this woman confidently place herself in front of me and the man kept looking at her while she was putting her goods on the counter. The man and I looked at each other and I whispered on him if he is with her, and he said no.

That's the time I asked the woman if she is with the man (I was just confirming it to be sure haha). She said no, and I politely said "Ako po yung kasunod ni kuya" (I am the one behind the guy) And she looked at me and said sarcastically she didn't noticed me! Imagine that! Not noticing me even I am 5'7 or 5'8 in height! hahaha funny. She apologized infairness but it seems to be really sarcastic. She give way for me and I pay my purchases.

It's funny somehow that we first hold voices to avoid unnecessary arguments with someone we don't know, but it only takes courage to speak what we know is right and have nothing to regret after for not expressing.
