7 Chapter 7 Quirk Assessment test

Later that night, I received a text from All Might telling me to meet him at the beach from where we did our first training together. I quickly responded back telling him that I am on my way. About 20 minutes later, I arrived at the place and saw All Might in his skeleton form. I quickly ran to him excited and already knew what he wanted to say. When I came in front of him, he put his hand on my shoulder and said, " Congratulations on passing the test. Although I already knew you would pass but I still want to congratulate you. When I passed you my quirk you worked really hard on learning it's power and adapting it to your body. Just so you know, I didn't tell the school about my connection to you. You're the type that would think that that's cheating, right?"

I nodded my head but silently smiled as I had another cheat ability or skill that he didn't know of. " Thanks. I didn't know that you were entering as a teacher at U.A. I know you said that you were looking for a successor though but I didn't know that you would join the school."

All Might nodded his head, " Yes. When I was searching for a successor, I happen to have been offered a job to teach at U.A."

I nodded my head and said, " I see, so that's was your original goal for coming here. I know that your original agency was located at other places besides here."

All Might continued, " Yes. before meeting you I indeed came here with the intent on picking one of the students at U.A. to be my successor. With how you handle One for All so far, I am satisfied my picking you. You did an excellent job in fighting the robots and rescuing that young girl without injuring yourself."

After saying that we spent some time together to talk about a few things and I soon went home to sleep afterwards.

The next morning, I woke up and did my usual morning routine of getting dressed, washing up. and eating breakfast. As I got my backpack together and put on my shoes, my mom was listing off things that I should bring and make sure I wouldn't forget. I patiently answered everything she asked and when I was about to leave and head out, she said, " Izuku. You're really cool. Good luck in school and make a lot of friends and be good to your teachers."

I smiled and hugged her in response, " I will mom. I will see you later."

I then proceeded to make my way towards U.A. High as this will be the start of my path to becoming a Hero. Although it may be a little annoying to go through high school again but it shouldn't be that bad. I got a cute girl that I am interested in and from what I know about future events, it should be a lot more fun even though it may be a little different.

About 25 minutes later I quickly arrived at school and began making my way to my designated class which is 1A. Thankfully this stayed the same and I see everyone else that is supposed to be there.

I soon arrived at the door of the class and could already hear the little altercation that happens between Bakugo and Ida like in the cannon. I opened the door and see Ida telling Bakugo to take off his feet off the table. I decided not to pay much attention and wanted to find a spot to sit so I can get ready but like the cannon as soon as Ida noticed me, he came forwards. As Ida came forwards all the other classmates of 1A also looked at me. " Good morning. I'm..."

" I heard you. You're Tenya Ida right. I'm Midoriya Izuku. Nice to meet you."

He then continued, " Midoriya-kun, you realized there was something more to that practical exam didn't you? I didn't realize it. I hate to admit it, but you are better than me."

I laughed and said, " Realize what? I only acted like a hero."

Just as he was about to add something in, a voice that I have been looking forward to hear all day sounded behind me, " Ohh. Izuku. You're also in the same class as me."

I looked at her attire and saw how cute and nice she looked. Since I see her in person, I noticed the curves that is hidden with the uniform that she wears. She may seem like an ordinary nice girl with a lot of energy but I think that that is what I'm looking for. I don't really need a busty and beautiful girl like Momo Yaoyorozu, I just want something that I can relax around and have a good time with and Uraraka was just that type of person.

As she was talking about my move that took out the 0 point robot, I interrupted her by saying, " Uraraka, let's go sit down together and wait for the teacher to arrive."

As I said that the two of us got seated and quickly we all noticed a scrubby person with cloth wrapped around his neck like a scarf in a sleeping bag. " Okay, it took you guys roughly 8 seconds before you were quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough."

As I observed the Kakashi-like character, he continued, " I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you."

After his announcement, everyone except me was surprised because from what he looks like, it doesn't seem like he was a pro-hero. Ignoring everyone's reaction, Aizawa continued on and pulled a training suit and said, it's kind of sudden, but put this on and go out onto the field."

In the changing room, we all began to change as Bakugo would give me looks here and there. I thought that that was kind of weird being stared at by this short tempered person but I knew that he may have been just curious about my results of the practical exams. Well, he will be in a big surprise once I show off my quirk and still remain above him.

Very quickly, we all gathering in the ball throw test and Aizawa began to explain our purpose for being out here which was a Quirk Assessment test.

Uraraka was surprised by the sudden activity and proceeded to ask like in the cannon in which Aizawa explained that every teacher begins like this. With the ball in hand, he looked at me and said, " Izuku, you finished at the top of the practical exam, right?"

When he said that everyone glanced at me and I noticed Bakugo's slightly frustrated face as he lost to me again. I nodded my head to confirm Aizawa's question. Aizawa continued, " In junior high, what was the best result for the soft ball throw?"

I replied by saying " 75 meters." Bakugo's was at 67 meters. Aizawa continued, " Then Try doing it with your quirk. When Aizawa asked that question, Bakugo became curious as all that he have known of me was that I didn't have a quirk and was born quirkless. Well he is gonna be in a big surprise as I show him my strength and the reason why I became the number 1 in the practical exam.

I stood in the soft ball throwing circle with a soft ball in hand as Aizawa explained to me that I can do whatever I want as long as I stay within the circle.

I stretched my throwing arm for a bit and looked at Bakugo with a smile. I then activated my quirk as my body lit up with electricity and I felt my body begin to surge with power. I activated 8% over my body as I stood side ways as I lifted one of my legs at the same time I started to wind my throwing arm back. As I landed the leg that was lifted up down hard on the ground and sent my throwing up forwards and released the ball when I felt it was at it's highest point and activated 15% of power on my finger that was last in contact with the soft ball.

Watching the ball fall far in the field, Aizawa's phone lit up as it recorded the distance which record a solid 700 meters. Once Aizawa showed my score, everyone in the class became surprised at the distance that I had shown. Everyone also became excited at the idea of being able to use their quirk in school and during the test. Bakugo however, showed a shocked expression by the power that I had exhibited. I can see on his face that he questioned on whether I was hiding my quirk the entire time or not. Seeing his face, I decided to just continue to look at him with a challenging expression and said and explained nothing to him. I'll make him ask me himself.

Although my score is lower than cannon Izuku throw but that was his full power of One for All where I only used 15% so I couldn't help it. He's gonna have to give Bakugo the win on this one alone. The only reason why I could score that high without using 100% was because I used the 10% on my body which sped me up and with the release of ball which made it farther then it would've been if I had just used it on my finger like the cannon version.

Seeing their excitement, like in the cannon Aizawa smiled and proceeded to tell the class that whoever is in last placed will be expelled which made the class determined to try their best in the physical tests.
