17 Chapter 17 UA School Festival Part 2

Uraraka: " Just as I thought, you were amazing Izuku. It seems like you have gotten faster since I last saw you use your quirk."

" Yeah, I've been training hard everyday. Good job on making it this far."

To be honest, it is surprising that she made it this far ahead of several others. I don't know what the other student's quirk was but with her zero gravity quirk, she can only make herself lighter, that meant that she basically ran this course on foot. If she made it then that could only mean the other students are really just that bad.

We continued talking until the last required person to pass on to the next round arrived. Looking around I see the familiar people that made it and waited for the next round to start.

A few seconds later, Midnight announced, " The first game of the first-year stage is finally over. The next game is... Calvary Battle!"

Explaining the rules, she stated that it required two to four people and based on the arrival on the people who entered the stage, the points were valued differently. " Furthermore, the point value assigned to first place is... ten million!"

Hearing that the person who was first place has a point value of ten million, everyone's eyes were filled with greed and ambition. Whoever manages to capture my points then it is an automatic victory.

I already knew who I wanted on my team. I quickly went to three people, Uraraka, Tokoyami, and Ojiro. I quickly gathered us together.

" Ojiro, although your quirk may seem ordinary and doesn't stand out much, but for this, I think it is the best for the situation. It is fast and strong. It is like having a strong third arm that could move freely. Your quirk is strong against close combat people. Tokoyami, your shadow is also fast and strong. It can extend from your body which can be used to grab other people's points and also help protect our blind spots. Uraraka, with your quirk, you can make us lighter and we will be able to move with instantaneous speed if we combine it with the power of Ojiro's quirk. Not only that, if we use Tokoyami's quirk, he can use it to grab the ground and pull us to safety."

I saw Hatsume eyeing me but I had already picked my team quicker than she could come up to me and join. Her machine would be useful but a machine that can break is unreliable and there are several quirks here that can break her jet back without intentional damage.

Tokoyami: " I see. To think you see my quirk so highly."

Ojiro, " Yeah. I had always thought that my quirk is really too ordinary to become an advantage."

Tokoyami, " I like your plan and will do my best to protect our points, however, there is a weak point. For quirk's that cause any type of light, it will weaken my quirk's power and he will become timid."

" I see. That may be a problem against Denki, Todoroki, and Bakugo, but I don't think that it will be enough to throw us off. If there are no longer any problems then let's do this well."

Uraraka, " Yeah, we'll make it to the final stage together."

15 minutes quickly flew by and everyone had already settled into their own teams. Tokoyami whose quirk was the most flexible of the team was stationed at the front while Ojiro and Uraraka was at the back.

Midnight, " Game start!!"

As soon as it started, everyone started to run towards me. I had Uraraka use her quirk on us as Ojiro smacked his tail on the ground as hard as he could which instantly sent us flying upwards. Although with all of our weight, it might be taking a lot of her, we had no choice. We had to get into the air before the ground gets soft from Juzo Honenuki's quirk.

" Just a bit longer Uraraka!"

Floating in the air, Tokoyami and Ojiro began to fend off any attacks that came towards us while I look for an empty space. Still in the air, I see Bakugo propelling into the air with his quirk.

Bakugo, " Those points will belong to me!"

However, before he could land a hit, Tokoyami blocked the strike. I then activated 20% for a brief moment before I finger flicked towards Bakugo sending him blasted back for a small distance away until he got grabbed by Sero's tape and pulled back to their position. I then spotted an open spot not far from the edge and signaled Tokoyami to send dark shadow to grab the place and pull us to it.

When we landed, I felt something coming from side and then tilted my head quickly. Dodging the strike, I noticed that it was Asui's long tongue coming from Shoji who had covered her and Mineta's appearance with his arms.

Asui, " As expected from you, Midoriya."

We moved quickly as time passed by while dodging several attacks from other teams. With my team's quirks we moved quickly and constantly in the air and to different locations on the stage. When Uraraka needed to rest for a brief moment, I would have us spin at quick speeds for Ogiro to use his tail to fend off any grabbing hands while making it harder for them to even touch my headband.

Uraraka, " I... I can't keep this up for much longer."

With the continuous use of her quirk, Uraraka was beginning to feel sick in her stomach. I tried to not be in this situation by using quick movements, but I guess she still did have her limits as she had to use it on all four of us. With our last placement, we landed near the edge of the stage with several teams still continuing to come after us.

Todoroki, used Denki's and Momo's quirk to blind and freeze the other teams at their place while created a ice barrier isolating us.

With only a few minutes left, I know that Ida would use his fastest speed and my team won't be able to react in time.

Moving to the side where Todoroki won't be using his fire power, I said to the team, " Everyone get low to the ground, Tokoyami, tell dark shadow to hold on to the ground, as tight as he can."

Tokoyami didn't understand why but did so anyways. Lowering our position, we were low as possible to the ground as Tokoyami's dark shadow got a firm grip. I then activated 20% and centered it to my arms. " Hold me as tight as possible."

I then angled my arms backwards as my shoulder blades touched, I then punched forwards generating two strong wind blasts moved quickly towards Todoroki's team.

Todoroki: " 'Tch' what the heck is that power?!" His team was quickly being pushed back at rapid pace. However, it wasn't enough to blow them back instantly.

Seeing the result, I quickly crossed my arms together created an even stronger force but saw that Ida was starting his Recipro burst. Although it might look a little pathetic, this was the only long distance move that I have at the moment. I had to keep Tokoyami's dark shadow planted on the ground so that I won't be sent flying. Since I am not planted on the ground, using 20% power on my whole body wouldn't do much and keep me stable as the two behind me won't have the power to stand the attack. I flapped my arms towards them while Ida's Recipro burst was slowly coming towards me.

The countdown started to go down signaling the end of the round and Bakugo busted out from the ice and was flying towards me which I quickly punched towards him, sending a burst of wind, however, he was already expecting it as he dodged to the side and came at me. Just when he was about to reach me, Ojiro blocked one palm and Bakugo's other palm was about to reach my headband until the buzzer rang, signifying the end of the round.
