Another Day

"Young master, it's morning already."

"Young master, it's time to wake up"

In an extravagant decorated room, said by a middle age man wearing a traditional butler's suit, besides him is a black-haired young man about 17 to 18 years old who is about to wake up due to the repeated calls of his butler.

" What time is it? "

"Young master, it's already around 7:30. Today is morning, which means you have a class to attend to."

" Can I take another leave today?"

"No, young master, you already took a leave last week, so you need to go to class today because there's an exam today."

"Fine, this is probably going to be another boring day. "

I looked at myself in the bathroom mirror, average built, black hair, matured looks probaby from the fact that he matured since his parents died while surprising him in his 10th birthday. Since then, he has matured faster than the others and also isolated himself to prevent greedy and opportunist relatives thinking that they could trick him into giving them his parents' inheritance.

Traffic was terrible as usual. Felix could be seen spending most of his time sitting in his sports car rather than driving it.While driving, he suddenly felt that today was going to be interesting.He didnt know why, as everything was as usual, but he couldn't dispel the feeling entirely.

As he finally pulled into the parking lot, he got out, grabbed his bag, and headed on inside the building. The building was massive itself with clean and extravagant looks with many floors. Similarly, the surroundings itself were soothing that made you feel calm and relaxed.

As he headed into the classroom, he was greeted by the class monitor, Doris.She was a young girl, who always had a cheerful smile on her face. If Felix had to describe her as an optimistic person, someone wanted to expect that good things would happen.

"Morning, Felix, Are you already healed?" she asked with a concerned look.

" Yes, I have just recovered from severe fever, oh yeah, did any interesting happen last week?" Felix answered.

" Oh, something interesting happened last week. Bryan, the top athlete, confessed to Ana in the auditorium and" she replied with a smile, while explaining what happened last week.

After a far too long conversation about what happened last week, the arrival of the teacher finally saved him,allowing him to head into his chair.

While listening to the teacher explaining different parts of the exam, suddenly, there was a loud explosion. My classmates panicked and tried to exit the classroom and the teacher was busy trying to make the crowd organized and safe by calming the panicked students. When I suddenly felt a terrible headache. When I touched the back of my head I felt something sticky and slimy. I looked at it and noticed that it was the blood caused by the glass window from the explosion penetrating to the back of the head.

" Am I going to die here? Is this the interesting thing that i was feeling earlier? How laughable to think that the interesting thing i felt earlier is about my death", Felix said with a wry smile, mocking himself before his vision blacked out.
