1 Chapter 1 :- A Visit to the Professor's Home.

A pleasant morning in the town of Arcadia.

In Jake's house.

Jake :- Hey mom, I am going to school, okay? Bye.

Jake's mom :- Ok then see you later.

Jake went to Ericka's house which was on the way to school.

Jake :- I'm finally here.

In Ericka's home,

Jake :- Hey Ericka, are you ready? Let's go fast. I don't wanna be late on the last day of the semester.

Ericka :- Hey Jake, good morning. I'm ready.

Jake :- By the way, where's Professor?

Ericka :- You mean dad? He's in the lab researching about something.

Jake went to Professor's lab along with Ericka.

Jake :- Good morning, Professor.

Professor :- Good morning, Jake.

Jake :- What are you working on? Hmm, let me see. It's probably about trolls, right?

Professor :- Oh Jake, it's just been a year and a half since you started working as my lab assistant. But you've been the only person who has understood me so well. I am sure you will be the perfect husband for my daughter. What do you think, Ericka?

Ericka(blushing) :- Dad.... I've told you so many times that there is nothing between us. We are just friends.

Jake :- She is right, Professor. We are just close friends. That's all.

Ericka :- Hey dad, I have already told you several times that there is no such things as trolls. Stop it already.

Professor :- No I won't because this time I have proof to show that trolls exist.

Jake :- You're kidding, Professor?

Professor :- No I'm not.

Jake :- You're not kidding?

Professor :- Yes and this time I've thought something special.

Ericka :- Special meaning stupid?

Professor :- I'm serious. I have atlast found the entrance to the Kingdom of Trolls. And I'll be going there next month. And still if you don't believe me then I'm ready to take you along.

Jake :- What? Are you serious? Well then I am coming along too.

Ericka :- What?Jake? I had thought that atleast you were smart but you too?

Jake :- Hey don't be so harsh, Ericka. He may have really found something this time.

Ericka :- Well I don't think so.

Professor :- Hey what do you mean?

Ericka :- Nothing.

Jake :- This may be joyful. However I don't have any plans for the upcoming summer vacation. So I think it would be a great adventure.

Ericka :- Well whatever. Now hurry up or you will be late for your precious final day of the semester.

Jake :- Ok then, bye Professor. See you later.

Professor :- Bye

Soon they took their bags and were on their way to school.

They were on their way when Ericka suddenly began speaking.

Ericka :- Hey Jake do you think my dad will be successful.

Jake :- Of course. After all he is working so hard.

Ericka :- It is not that I don't believe him. I just want him to be happy and not be depressed if he fails.

Jake :- Don't worry everything will be fine.
