1 wish

"where am I? Why are there so many people." a young man asked as he looked around; there were 999 people around him, all looking around in confusion.

"attention, the god of dreams is about to speak." a man with glasses said, making the whole place went quiet.

"no need for all of that, good morning... is it a morning." a man with a long white beard asked.

"It's night." the man with glasses said.

"oh... should I say good night? cough, good to see you all, I'm the god of dreams, Morpheus, and no, I am not that greek god." He said with a smile

"you are all here today because I'm stepping down as god. Suppose you are wondering if I can do that. Yes, I can. I'm not the first god, and I was in your shoes back a few billions of years back. I got bored, and now they're something else I want to try my luck on, Are there any questions." Morpheus asked.

"How can we trust you? Who knows, you might have kidnapped us and are doing some experiments on us." a female with glasses said, entirely on guard against Morpheus.

"Did this happen when I was in their shoes," Morpheus asked the man with glasses?

"I believe so, lord." the man said respectfully.

"troublesome... I how about this," he said as he snapped his finger; a sword suddenly appeared in the female's hand as her eyes widened.

"This is," she said in a shaking voice.

"yes, that is your father's lost sword. He couldn't die in peace without it. you spent years training to become a warrior, hoping to gain the respect your father lost by losing that sword." Morpheus said with a smile as he watched the girl break down in tears.

'warrior.' the young man thought with slight confusion.

"same as you are wondering what I meant when I said warrior, you see not all of you are from the same earth and timeline. We picked 25 people from the same earth all over the world. so there might be a few people here from your history books." he said with a smile

"how we pick who will be the next god after a good step down is simple. First of all, you have six wishes. The wishes might lower depending on what level the desire is. After you make your wish, you would pick a world you want to reincarnate in.

If you don't know what world to go to, we will pick one for you at random. So it would be best if you chose, there would be a list of words available for you to go to, you would get a total of 6 worlds of your picking.

After all of this is over, you all would have to face each other. As for the challenges, they would be random. It could be a team battle or a game of rock paper Scissors. so when making your wish, think long and hard... or you can be like the others who want to live their life in dreamland." Morpheus said with a smile

"Is there any time limit, or what." a man with red hair asked?

"no time limit, if by chance a few of you pick the same world or would want to go to the same world, we would make a copy of that world for you. as for the time, take as long as you want. as long as 1 million years doesn't pass with you still in the same world, you are all good." Morpheus said

"ok, seeing as no one is asking questions, I will pick the first person... almost forgot, no second party can make the same wish. So if someone has already got that wish, you can't take it. First-person up for their wish is Teth." he said as he looked at the young man.

"When did I get so lucky," Seth said as he disappeared only to reappeared in a small office room.

"let's see, you are Seth, right." a little fairy the size of a fist asked.

"yes." seth said calmly.

"ok, mister Blaze, I'm going to be the one who helps make your wishes. So go ahead and say your first wish," she said with a smile.

"If I do make a wish, would you give me a wronging of how much it would cost?" Seth asked.

"yes, that why I'm here for," she said with a shake of her head.

'for a first wish, I should go for someone that could keep me safe. Something a bit overboard but still not to a high level. Since I'm first, there is no limit to what I could get... so I pick.' Seth thought with sharp eyes.

"the Almighty," Seth said without Hesitation.

"you wish...that skill is listed as forbidden. You would be able to become the next god without even trying," she said as her cute face turned into that of disdain.

"cough, then I would pick the ruler," Seth said calmly.

"Let's see, ha, you would think it more," she said after flipping a book around.

"how much wishes," Seth asked.

"two," she said as she looked at Seth

'with this ability, only abilities that would do good to me would injure me.' Seth thought

"how much would it be for an ability that allows one to steal others' ability," Seth asked.

"how do you wish to steal the ability?" she asked.

"by holding them or something like that," Seth said

"Let me look it up... it would be, just 2," she said

"can I see the effect," Seth asked

"steal- absorb the power from someone by grabbing their neck. The long one hold, the more they can steal. Even stealing their whole being is passable.

"I will take it. I will also take the ruler. as for the last one, am I able to get something like a bloodline." Seth asked

"There are a few you can get with just two wishes, but it would be stupid if you ask me. you can steal the bloodline," she said with a shrug

"then can I wish for something like comprehension ability, like mastering thing at a fast speed?" Seth asked.

"yes, but it depends on your wish for talent or just comprehension ability to increase," she asked.

"just comprehension ability," Seth said

"that would be two wish, as for how much it would increase that I don't know," she said as a screen appeared before Blaze

"now pick a world, if you so wish you could look one up. Remember, there are no cultivation worlds on that," she said calmly.

"Also, for your first world, you need to give a reason for why you picked it." the fairy said

"I pick naruto world because of naruto shadow clones. If I could get that ability, my training speed would increase to a whole new level." Seth said calmly

"ok, let's see where and when you will be reincarnated... you will be reincarnated as Sasuke. If you wish to keep the same name, I can make it happen," she said as she looked at seth.

"I will keep the name," Seth said with a shrug

"ok good luck," she said as Seth was covered by light as he disappeared.
