12 To the back garden

The voice of Suma rang in the ears of Shimo and his originally angered face became even uglier from anger. He looked at Suma who was down below and spoke in a deep and solemn voice "You bastard, you try to kill me just because of that bi…"

Before he could finish the word lightning descended once more from the ninth heavens, the lightning dragon appeared and once again tried to devour him whole.

Shimo saw the once more descending lightning dragon and he started to once again raise his hands. But this time no light barrier appeared but a beam of light shot out of his hands.

"'Piercing Light'" Shimo spoke in a calm manner as the light continued to shot out of his hand, the light beam then met the lightning dragon but no boom sound sounded only a sound of something piercing was heard.

The body of the lightning dragon was pierce by the 'Piercing Light' of Shimo and its body disappeared from sight, only bright light can be seen on the scene.

But there weren't any paused like the other time and another bolt of lightning flashed towards Shimo like it was trying to skewer him, Shimo's eyes became alert and turned his hand to the direction of the lightning and a light barrier appeared.

Screech

The light barrier and the lightning bolt met and a screeching sound was made from the collision of the two energies.

Shimo blocked the attacked, then a voiced sounded out behind him "I told you slander my wife again and I will kill you."

Suma with a saber made out of lightning slashed towards the direction of Shimo's neck trying to behead Shimo. The lighting saber was able to cut through the neck of Shimo but instead of happiness he felt danger.

"You have improved." A voice then sounded out from behind him and the image of Shimo that he 'cut' down vanish.

"'Refraction' huh?" Suma was not that surprised when he saw the body he supposedly cut down was not real but instead a body made out of light by his father.

Suma stopped at mid-air and started to turn around and looked at Shimo who was floating there nonchalantly with his hands behind him.

Shimo also looked at him and opened his mouth to speak "Stop this foolish resistance."

Shimo's eyes then drifted away from Suma and shifted to the man garbed in black on the ground below, he then shifted his gaze and when he saw something that was lying on the floor his eyes flashed as he disappeared from where he was standing mid-air

Suma noticed the action of Shimo and immediately tried to obstruct the plan of Shimo.

Shimo disappeared from where he was previously and appeared in an instant by the side of Mada.

"Will you help your grandfather for a little while?" Shimo looked at Mada and extended his arm forward.

Before Suma could react to what happened, Shimohad already extended his hands and tried to get a hold of Mada as light attribute energy flowed out of his body then around Mada's body.

The light energy then started to form a cage like structure trying to entrap Mada within, but what happened next was something Shimo nor Suma who was trying to rescue Mada from the hands of his father.

The light that was coming from Shimo's hand was then sucked inside the body of Mada like it was being devoured by something. Seeing thus Shimo tried to stopped energy of his body to the energy on his hand by ultimately failing.

He then tried cutting the energy connection of him that was in the energy chain or rather cage and retreated several meters behind him and silently looked at Mada his thought unknown.

The moment Mada saw Shimo unexpectedly appearing in front of him he knew that he was in trouble, and when the hand of Shimo was raised in front of him the memory of Shimo executing the 'Piercing Light' earlier flashed inside his mind.

But thankfully the 'Piercing Light' didn't come and only light that looked like chain appeared, but in this chain like energy he also felt the danger hidden within them. He tried to get away in time but alas the light was so fast that it didn't even took him the time to blink before it surrounded him completely.

Mada saw the light chains was about to bind his body, but a change occurred to what was happening. Suction force appeared inside his body as it tried to absorb the light attributed energy like it was trying to suck a drink from a container.

The body of Mada was like a bottomless pit at the moment as the light energy was continuously going inside him, this amout of energy would normally make anyone die from implosion if anyone in the same realm as him even tried to absorb a speck of the energy that was around Mada.

But Mada was different at the moment as his body was truly like a pit from the continuous flow of energy going inside his body.

But in truth Mada was not the one who was absorbing the energy, rather it was his soul… no to be precise an imprint in his soul.

In Mada's soul there were two imprints that were made when Rayious, Riste, and himself. At this moment one of this soul imprints was shining with resplendent light as it sucked in the light attributed energy of its surroundings.

The light energy that was supposed to bind and entrap was at the moment being sucked in by this particular soul imprint.

This imprint was glowing with resplendent light at the moment and inside this imprint lies the soul of Rayious who have been asleep for a long time since the 3 of them got reincarnated.

The energy that was being absorb by the soul imprint was being fed to Rayious at this moment, the energy was nutrients or supplement for him as it helps him regain the strength he lost from going through reincarnation.

Rayious have been asleep for 11 years now but it was not his choice to sleep for a long time, but it was not because Rayious liked sleeping that he chose to quietly to sleep all this year but the real reason was that the energy of his body was dried out and didn't have any effective means of replenishment.

Because he was not the one who controlled the body instead of Mada he had not been able to gather much energy in order for him to wake up. But at this moment a vast amount of light energy suddenly appearing in the surroundings the soul imprint became extremely excited and started to suck in that energy.

As a matter of fact the soul imprint have been absorbing the energy since the time Shimo first appeared, the light attribute that Shimo carried with him became a fertilizer for Rayious.

Mada felt the continues flow of light energy inside him and made him felt warm, and even though the energy wasn't directly going to him but to Rayious he still experience some benefits from the energy as he is at the peak of Mortal realm and was only a step away towards the Earthen realm.

And because of this wondrous sensation Mada was somewhat able to forget what was happening around at the moment.

Shimo and Suma watch as the light energy continued to be absorb in Mada, Shimo and Suma who was fighting earlier stop at the sight of this and silence enveloped the surroundings.

The silence was broken by a laugh "Good seems like I didn't come here for nothing after all, I have finally found someone to inherit me and the throne."

Shimo's laughed was filled with delight, but Suma on the other hand upon hearing him became warry all of a sudden and spoke to rebuke him "You will not take my son."

"And why not? He qualifies for being the heir his bloodline is from our family, besides him being the son of your wife he is perfect to be the heir. What do you want more he will have limitless future if you let me take him with me back to the imperial palace."

Suma listened to Shimo but he only gave a simple but resolve answer "No."

"Why?"

Suma didn't answer him and looked at Mada, but at this moment he secretly receive a message from Mu who was assigned to evacuate everybody to the spatial transportation array.

"Everybody is now in the spatial transportation array and only you and Mada are left."

Suma was inwardly delighted by this news he then looked at Shimo and answered his earlier question. "Because we will now be leaving."

Before Shimo could respond he turned around and took Mada away from there and turned into lightning trying to get away from Shimo.

Strangely enough Shimo didn't try to pursue Suma and only looked at his vanishing lightning coated silhouette, he smiled in a ridiculing manner and started to rise from where he was earlier and slowly floated towards the direction where Suma and took Mada to flee.

Mada have been startled awake by the sudden movemoents of his surroundings and the light energy cease to flow through him making the soul imprint that was continuously absorbing the light energy to stop.

A split second after he was awoke from his previous stupor he notice that he was currently at the garden of their Manor. Standing in the garden he heard a scream from behind him "What happened to Mada? Suma what happened to him?"

Mada turned around and saw his mother making her towards his and Suma's direction, beside her was Ling-Ling that when she notice the severed arm of Mada sobbed "Brotheeeeeer."

Suma then looked at Angelica an answered her inquiry "It was one of my father's men who did this, don't worry the wounds have already healed and we will tend to his severed arm when we get out of here." Suma paused for a moment and looked at his surroundings when he saw that everybody was all there he walked towards one of the shed near the pond and took something out of his sleeves.

"Mu take one of the talisman we will get out of here now Father is already here we have to be fast."

Mu silently appeared before Suma and took one of the talisman and disappeared from his original position then subsequently appearing on the opposite of Suma 300 meters away and started to pour his special energy of his body to the talisman.

While Suma and Mu was doing this all off the adult also started doing something as awe inspiring energy gushed out of their body.

Mada at the moment was comforting Ling-Ling by the side holding her with his remaining left arm, while holding Ling-Ling he looked around the garden and saw around 26 children that were around the age of 5 to 14 years of age. All this children were all either have a looked of worry or confusion on their faces.

As he looked around them a group everyone also started looking at him and started to go their way, the young ones all appeared before Mada and only looked at them not knowing what to say. Some of them where staring at the severed right arm of Mada and some of them where trying to say something but was unable to.

All of them where fidgeting around not knowing what to say, then one of the 26 children step forward to try and asked what was happening "Big brother Mada your arm what happened to you? What is happening?"

Mada looked at the little girl who was trembling as he warmly smiled at him "Mimi, I got this when I was away in the mountain, you all know that I went to the mountains right? As for what is happening it seems like we are moving and will go to a much better place that where we are now."
