33 The Problems of Being Young

Alchemy there are any branches to alchemy some specialize in poison some in helping cultivation and many more and the type that Mada was most adept in were in making medicines to cure different type of diseases and in the type that helps ones cultivation.

In other words he was able to use types of medicinal plants to create some kind of meidicine to the girl that was lying on the bed. Most of alchemist would use spiritual plants that have absorbed the energy of heaven and the earth to create pills but all of those spiritual plants cost a lot of money.

And Mada knew this so he was force to use the most basic of medicinal plants and try to treat the girl, he had 5 ingredients with him but 4 of them were just to help enhanced the effect of red river lotus.

Taking the red river lotus from the basket he place it in front of him then he took the remaining 4 medicinal plants one by one carefully. He then started to grind all of the medicinal plants with his energy until they all turned into dust.

Taking a bowl that was in the room he first took the powdered black grass then he put it into the bowl then he took the crushed horse tail grass then added it into the mixed. He mixed the 2 medicines for a whole 1 hour without stopping so he can make sure that the 2 medicines have thoroughly combined with one another.

Even though the 2 medicinal plants have turned into dust and could just be intake then and there alchemy was different, by altering the composition of these medicines when using energy he was able to make the 2 different medicines become 1.

But these are just the basics true alchemy used fire to refine spiritual plants in order for the impurities to be taken out but Mada didn't have any fire abilities and he was not sure when he would able to get one but medicinal plants was just ordinary medicines so the method he was using was fine.

It took him another 5 hours before he finished mixing the four medicines he had crushed, then it was finally the time for the red river lotus to be mixed in the other medicines.

Taking a deep breath and adjusting his mind using the wooded sculpture he proceeded to complete the medicine, unlike before when he mixed the other four medicines the red river lotus was… kind of different than the others as it was a half-step spiritual plant.

A half-step spiritual plants are the plants that have absorbed the energy of the heaven and earth but was unable to succeed in evolving into a spiritual plant, this was also the case for a red river lotus as it failed to become a scarlet water lotus and become a true spiritual plant.

But a half spiritual plant do have energy inside them making it hard for them to be used as an ingredient in a basic medicine if the Alchemist was not skilled enough, but thankfully after another 2 hours Mada was still able at some point.

After he refining the red river lotus he begun the cleansing then adding it to the medicine mixture. The moment the mixture of the four normal medicinal plants was added with the red river lotus the medicine emitted a bright reddish color before becoming a red powder these signs showed that it was now completed.

Mada wiped the sweat that was on his forehead as he looked at the medicine in front of him, feeling the sense of accomplishment inside himself a smile crept onto his serious face as he said in a low voice "The 'Red Powder of the River' is now complete, hehe, I truly am awesome."

After feeling self-satisfied for moment he returned to his looked of indifference once again as he held the flower sculpture that was now on his hand before making the girl swallow the 'Red Powder of the River'.

After making the girl swallow the 'Red Powder of the River' Mada placed his right hand on the abdomen of the girl the he place his other hand by the forehead of the girl. Feeling the energy inside the girl was currently undergoing changes from the chaotic flow to a slow flow.

Mada initiated the 'Origin Force' then he tried to absorbed the chaotic energy that was in the body of the girl using his left hand then circulating that energy inside him making it calm down to a certain amount then sending it back to the girls forehead where the sea of consciousness was located.

These was a very difficult thing to do so Mada needed to focus all of his attention into the process, because if the energy that he was sending back to the sea of consciousness where to be slightly chaotic and cause damage the consequences would be severe.

After doing the process for a total of 29 circulation the time it took him was already an hour and adding the time that he use when making the medicine earlier it already have been ten hours already making Mada on the verge of his limit.

He was not able to rest because the treatment was still not done so he was now only pushing himself into its limit both mentally and physically.

The treatment continued, then after the 30th circulation of energy was transferred to the girl's sea of consciousness something happened. The body of the girl on the bed trembled as her sea of consciousness was assailed by the energy.

Mada was startled by what happened because he knew that something happened and that he was the cause of that, when the 30th energy circulation pass through him earlier his mind was slightly distracted for a bit making him unable to focus so when he transferred the energy to her sea of consciousness it was still quite chaotic.

Mada scolded himself inside his head [Shit why the hell was I distracted by that twin peak at that moment? Fuck that shitty wind blowing her robe like that, wait now that I think about it isn't it partially her fault? If she didn't have that I wouldn't be distracted meaning I am still half innocent on what will happen to her.]

Thinking about his 'innocence' Mada felt somewhat relieve, but that relive was only for a moment as shame replace that sense of relief he was feeling [What the hell am I thinking now! I should do what I can now or else she will truly die if nothing is done.]

Gritting his teeth he place his hand on her forehead and circulated the 'Origin Force' inside him then forcefully making the chaotic energy become calm once more. His energy was quickly begun to be drained as his energy was continuously flowed to her sea of consciousness.

Everything was on fire and in that middle of that fire was Sol standing there looking at everything, her eyes was red as tears started flowing out of her eyes and as she gritted her teeth her voice was trembling as it came out in between her gritted her teeth "I will get you all back for these twice fold."

As she said these lines her body trembled not from anger but from pain and before she know what happened she only realize that in front of her was an unfamiliar ceiling making. She tried remembering any information regarding what happened to her and what flashed in her mind was the 3 men that cornered her in the Mist Valley.

Remembering that she had 'enemies' around her she tried moving her body but when she notice that she was not able to move her body making her feel the depression inside her heart.

Not being able to control her body and only her voice was usable she was only left with one choice and that was to scream "Get me out of he…!"

Before she could even finish what she wanted to say a hand was place on top of her mouth making her voice inaudible followed by a voice she did not know "Hey, shut up will you your energy is still not stable so stop all the screaming your meridians are also damage so shut the fuck up!"

Sol tried turning her head against all the pain she was feeling and the moment she was able to turn her head what she saw was the face of a young man with an indifferent expression she then spoke to her with difficulty "Who are you."

"I told you to shut up didn't I? Now if you can't even do that I can just stop right now and let the chaotic energy inside you run rampant making them destroy your meridians then your internal organs until it ultimately kills you. If you don't want that to happen I would shut up if I were you."

Sol was still a little distrustful on who Mada truly was upon remembering the time when a young man with hair full suddenly burst out of the wall and into the place where she was being surrounded and how that white haired young man had beat up those 3 men a light of understanding flashed pass her eyes.

Knowing that he was not an enemy or at least not with those people who were chasing her she felt quite relieve inside her heart [Turns out this guys is my savior, he is even treating my wounds and stabilizing my energy he must also quite good at medicine and alchemy then.]

Mada talked in a straight forward manner not mincing his words at all, he had been trying to make the energy inside her stabilize for a total of 10 hours and it was currently nigh time. The medicines that Dolly had brought her was al use up as they were all process up by him.

Another 1 hour pass before he finally finished the treatment of Sol, it was not possible for him to rest when he started the treatment and even though he knew that the problem of the girl was actually minor.

It could also have the girl treated quite easily by others but when he considered that the girl might be be being chased by someone he didn't want to contact anyone else for help as he also do not have any connection in the city except for Dolly.

Mada wiped the sweat on his forehead as he started to speak with Sol "Your energy have been stabilize now so you should be able to use it without problem, but when I looked into your body earlier you have suffered some injuries that was quite severe so I tried fixing that but the medicinal plants that I could procure was not that much so I could only treat it halfway and let your body naturally heal those wounds."

Sol checked the energy inside her body and when she notice that it was true that her energy was now stable happiness assailed her heart, forcing herself to sit down on the bed she faced Mada who was sitting on the ground with his sweat covering his entire body.

Seeing the youth that was in front of her being drench in sweat the first thought that appeared insde her head was [What a big hearted young man, those sweat must have come from his hard work when he was trying to help me in my time of need.]

As these kind of thought flashed inside her head she felt more and more thankful to him more. She then bowed to Mada as she said to him "I thank you for helping me when I was in my time of need, not once but you have helped twice already in the Mist Valley and now with this I am forever gratitude to you, I Vermillion Sol would like to know the name of my benefactor."
