20 The 5 Elders and the Queen

Mada activated the energy inside his body, and the moment he activated the energy inside him to use his 'Shadow Steps' movement technique the energy that was only supposed to support him gushed outside of his body making, because of this sudden bursting of energy from inside his body added his mastery of the 'Shadow Steps' which he had honed in his time in the mountains made his movements looked exquisite.

But Mada who executed this wondrous and magnificent movement martial technique felt somewhat saddened memories of when he first got this movement technique from his father flowed in his mind [Father, Mother, Ling-Ling, everyone where are you now?]

As he thought of this he had unknowingly reached Trinity, but when he landed in front of her he didn't do anything and only stood there he didn't looked at Trinity he even forgot to do what he wanted because of the memory of his family continued to flow inside his head.

Leo and Thea which was surprised by the sudden movements have now woken up from their stupor much faster than the others, when they woke up from that amazement they immediately went to the side of their daughter, as they tried to protect her from Mada.

But the moment they got there and when they looked at Mada which was in his own world sadness and longing that surrounded him affected the both of them, especially Leo which he was thinking [This kid is really weird, before Thea arrive he was acting like a dunce and an idiot but now he is acting like a real victim.]

The minds of Leo and Thea was affected by Mada, the Trinity which have been staring at the eyes of Mada saw the change in his eyes the sorrow that became heavier and the longing that was constantly calling out to someone became more stronger.

And in all of that longing and sadness which Mada's eyes showed her she could also vaguely see some other emotions like a deep hatred for someone the kind that you will not stop unless the one you hate or you die and the other was loathing not for anyone else but for himself.

Trinity continued to stare at his eyes but the sound of the demonic which have been strangely quiet tonight broke the silence waking the 4 of them from each of their stupor, Mada which was in an especially deep thought was even startled by the cry of the demonic beasts [What is happening?]

He then saw Leo and Thea which have arrived there was looking at him and as for his target the beautiful and young lady which was in front of her he looked at her in the eyes and said in a flat tone "Please, do not stare at me like that."

Leo stopped on his tracked, as he looked at Mada in front of him right now he felt a sense of alienation not from the fact that they only met for the first time and their role being the prisoner and the enforcer. Rather it was because he saw Mada earlier as the goofy, playful and stupid kid that knows nothing.

But from the moment the part of his home was brought up he had a complete a 180 degree with his attitude, so much so that the air around him change from that kid that knows nothing from something that is completely unfathomable.

Trinity just continued to stare at the mysterious pair of eyes that belong to Mada she didn't move her eyes away from his but she continued to look like those eyes have something that can pull her in. She became entrance but what she didn't know was that the pupils of her eyes was changing.

Mada saw the eyes of Trinity change slowly from that black colored pupil to a shade of green, the changes was not something that any person can see and most of the people would not even see any changes and that even includes cultivators that have the same strength as Leo and Thea.

Mada was only able to see this mysterious and minute changes because of his eyes that he got when he got out of the body of that dragon, he was surprised by what he observed in those eyes [What are these.]

He was about to speak about something but he was unable to because he felt someone had pulled him away from Trinity. He then saw Thea arriving in front of Trinity.

Thea looked at him and spoke "What are doing you are our prisoner do not move without any permission." Her voice still held the tone of teasing when she spoke to him but Mada was able to perceive a mixed in them but sadly he was not sure what it was.

Mada didn't mind the actions of Thea because when he thought about it he felt that his actions really was out of place, he stood up straight and looked at Trinity and spoke to her "I apologize please don't stare at my eyes I feel insecure."

With that said he turned around and walked towards Leo, while walking he stopped and turned around once more to look one more time in the eyes of Trinity. The shade of green that was in the eyes of Trinity earlier was still there but seeing Thea not reacting from that shade of green in her eyes he thought [It must have been nothing important.]

Rayious that was on his shoulder whispered to his ear "Did you see the pair of eyes that was on the pretty young lady over there?"

Mada heard Rayious but he only nodded his head and didn't say anything.

He walked to Leo's side slowly, the eyes of the people around was all focus around him. They were looking at him with different kind of emotions some with anger some confusion and some even had a trace of reverence in their eyes.

Mada ignored all of the looked that the others was giving him, he reached the front of Leo and looked bowed to him taking Leo by surprised "I apologize about what I did."

"It is all right you didn't do anything else, but…" a roped appeared on his right hand. "Seems like we really need to tie you just like you said."

Mada's eyes lit up when he heard Leo spoke.

The elf race were all ruled by one Queen and 5 Elders, this 6 people were the pillars of the whole elven race.

The elf Queen was picked if all of the 5 Elders agreed on one person to be able to act as the leader for the whole of the elf race, in order for there not to be an internal strife in the elf race the 5 elders must pick one person and only one person to act as the leader.

The way they choose is very strict and only those with great talent and formidable strength can act as leader of the elves added with that was a strong willpower in order for her to achieve things that normal were mostly not able to do.

Inside the palace there stood a magnificent garden filled with plants and flowers blooming all over the place the scene was refreshing to the body and soothing to the heart and soul, inside this beautiful garden was a round table and on the round table there were 6 people seated.

5 of the people that was seating in the round table were old 3 of them were old men with long white beards showing their experience and knowledge from their old age, the 3 of them had wrinkles all over their faces but despite how old they looked their eyes were still sharp, this 3 were one of the 5 Elders they known as Elder Pang, Elder Leaf, and Elder Oli.

Seated on the other 3 female people two of which was much older than the other, the 2 old ladies had white hair on their heads but unlike the 3 old men that looked like they were hanging on their last breath the 2 old ladies looked rather young like they were only at their 40's both of them looked beautiful just like the flowers in the garden, these 2 were Elder Ying and Elder Fey.

"Why are the 3 of you looking like you are in your death bed?" Elder Ying looked at the 3 men that was in front of her.

The 3 looked at each other and had a looked of confusion on their eyes as one of them said. "What is the problem with our looks? Are we not old? With old age comes a time where your skin and appearance change you know?" Elder leaf answered Elder Ying with s voice of an old and ancient man.

"Don't give me that I know that you are aware what I am talking about so tell me now." Elder Ying couldn't helped but yell to the 3 old looking men.

"What are you talking about we really are just that old cough, cough." Elder Oli gave Elder Ying an explanation and added some coughs to that explanation.

Elder Ying couldn't helped but be angered by the way Elder Oli and the others act "Don't give me that, why are you all looking like that way?"

Elder Ying was becoming angrier by the minute, she raised her hands and vines immediately appeared out of nowhere to surround the 3 old men, Elder Oli and Elder Leaf was startled by what Elder Ying suddenly just did they both tried to do something but they were unable to because they were having a fun time of messing with Elder Ying that they weren't able to noticed the vines.

As the vines came closer to them making them feel helplessness in their hearts a thought appeared on their heads at the same time [I have been careless with this brute.]

The vines came closer to them but right before it could come into contact with the both of then something stopped the vines from moving any closer a voice was then heard "Let us stop this Elder Leaf and Elder Oli or the meeting would be disturbed if we continue anymore."

Elder Pang who have been quietly smiling as he watched the scene of the 3 earlier intervene, Elder Ying gave him a dissatisfied looked but she couldn't do anything else because she knew that he was right so she sat down on her chair and kept her quiet.

"Okay, but make that old face of yours return to normal or else…" vines slowly crept up from the surroundings as she stated her demands.

"Bah, who will listen to you. "Elder Leaf and Elder Oli said at the same but even though they said that their faces still contorted and started changing from that old face into a handsome face, Elder Leaf Elder Oli saw Elder Ying having a satisfied on her face as she watched them changing their face into normal.

The two of them felt somewhat embarrassed from being laughed at by Elder Ying but they didn't do anything to her but the two of them looked at Elder Pang who was also changing his face back to normal with a furious looked.

Elder Pang just shrugged his shoulder ignoring the angry stares of the two Elders, he directed his eyes to the lady that was in the seat in front of everybody. Elder Oli and Elder Leaf also reluctantly looked at the lady with defeat in their eyes.

The lady in front of the 5 Elders was beautiful she had eyes that seems so clear that it looked like it can see through the other she was looking the aura around her whole body had a dignified vibe with it. She lifted her head and looked at the 5 People and spoke in a warm voice "Well then let us begin the meeting concerning the report that Leo and Thea brought to us."
