26 Mist Valley

Mada accepted the mercenary card and without wasting time he went out of the {Mercenary guild} to take on the quest of hunting the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger.

The moment he walked out of there a commotion suddenly erupted but he only disregarded it and made his way to the mist valley where the said Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger is located. There were two things that made Mada take on this mission disregarding the fact that it was really easy.

The first was that the mission was to take on the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger that defeated him before, the defeat that he had suffered on the past made him learn many important things. But a defeat is still a defeat so he was now going to get revenge and although it was not the same Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger that he fought it was still a Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger.

The other one was because of the reward that was posted in the mercenary board was really big to the point he couldn't believe that it was real. The reward he would get for completing the mission was a hundred thousand gold coin [Hell yeah an easy mission like this is worth hundred thousand? I am liking being a mercenary by the minute.]

But what Mada didn't know was that what he just undertook was a particularly hard one at least on this part of the continent, the Earthen realm that was willing to be a mercenary was not big and only a few would choose to be one other than to go into one of the sects that can give them many benefits.

And although that there were Earthen realm cultivator or even higher mercenaries there were not many in the Sunlight City making the mission that required strength at the Earthen be ignored. Because of this reasons mission that required a cultivator higher than peak mortal grade tends to gather dust into the mission board.

It took Mada a whole day of travel without any rest to reach the borders of the Mist valley. He didn't enter the Mist valley right away but went to recover the energy that was spent on the travelling.

After recovering his strength he went inside the soul imprint and woke Rayious up so he could help him, even though he could easily take on the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger he still asked Rayious to help him as he didn't want to take any chances.

Rayious didn't actually wanted to help him at first saying that he was "strong enough to handle it" and that he was "acting like a coward". But after Mada said that the money that he would be earning would be used for food and wouldn't share any to him, and almost immediately his attitude made a completely a 180 turn towards the mission.

"Let us go little Mada or we will waste time quickly the meat at the City is waiting for my return." Saing that Rayious led the way.

The Mist valley got its name from its trait of being covered in mist all year long without dissipating, the mist made it hard for cultivators to looked at their surroundings and because the demonic beasts that was in the Mist valley have long adapted themselves to their surroundings adding the rocky terrain made it a danger spot for people and cultivator alike.

This was one of the reason that the mission of hunting the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger taking its beast core from it was not being taken by the mercenary even by those Earthen realm mercenaries don't take it on because of this, without people taking on the mission was a problem for the person who place this mission on the message board helpless and increased the reward for it multiple times until it reached the one hundred thousand gold coins that it was today.

But the mist didn't have any effect to the Dragon Human duo as they were able to clearly see their surroundings clearly, Mada only needed to circulate the energy into his eyes and immediately he would be able to see everything clearly as for Rayious he didn't even do anything and he was already able to see everything clearly from the get go.

The two of them went on their way to the Mist valley with fast speed looking for their target so they can go and finished their mission as fast as possible. Their searching didn't last long, after an hour of searching the roar of a tiger was heard above them.

The Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger was looking at them with fierceness in its eyes.

Roar

Rayious also returned the roar but the roar that he was able to produce was not as loud and intimidating as the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tigers though, the roar Rayious gave was rather weak losing out to the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger.

Mada at the side looked at him gloating at him "Really? That, is the best you can do?"

Rayious felt the anger in him raging up, but he wasn't able to say anything back to him because that is the best he could do with his current strength he could only sigh and complain inside his heart [Damn it, just wait in the future I will show you.]

Mada didn't bother on how Rayious was acting by the side, he stomp at the ground and shot up towards the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger. He circulated his 'Shadow Steps' while initiating the Pouncing Dragon of his 'Dragon Stance'.

He punched out to the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger with his left, the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger was caught off guard by the sudden burst of speed made by the human in front of it making it unable to do anything.

The Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger can only try to defend from the attack made by Mada, wind attribute energy that looked like it can lacerate anything and everything surrounded the body of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger like some kind of barrier.

The punch of Mada tore the air as it made its way to the body of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger.

Crash

The sound of a plate being shattered rang to the air as the punch that Mada threw broke the barrier made by the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger. The wind energy that was supposed to lacerate his hands cave in from the pressure that his hands created making a path for his hands to traverse.

Bang

His fist directly hit the body of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger, the force of the punch sent the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger into the wall of rocks in the valley crashing into it breaking the rocks like nothing.

The bloody image of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger lied on the ground unmoving not showing any signs of life. The area where the blow of Mada hit was completely blown away like it was hit by a cannon, a hole the size of a bowling bowl was in the body of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger.

Mada stared at the corpse of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger that was 10 meters away from him, he was not expecting this to happen. Yes he did use his full power in that one punch in order to test his strength but he was only expecting the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger to at the very least get some kind damage.

Getting killed by one hit was something he was expecting. In the past when he fought with the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger he was only at the middle stages of the Mortal realm and as a result of that fight he almost lost his life.

So this time that he was now at the Earthen realm he was expecting to have a good fight with the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger. He looked at his left hand that was smeared with the blood of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger that was lying on the floor.

He became lost in thought not moving at anyway for a while. Then he suddenly gave a laughed "Yes I really did become stronger than the past."

Mada made a fist bump in the air showing his happiness, in the past few days he had only battled with demonic beasts for food so he was only hunting for level 1 demonic beasts, and when he was traveling he was only running not doing anything but that and in both of this occasion he felt the improvements in his body.

But he was still unsure about his actual fighting strength and the moment he knew how powerful he got he became ecstatic from happiness. The intent to fight surge out of his body he itched for a fight so without any delay he took the beasts core of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger and went to find something to fight.

He threw all of the cautiousness in him into the air just like that.

Rayious followed closely behind him he was now also itching to fight, the scene of the Unihorn Saber Tooth Tiger flying into the wall like some kind of garbage ignited something inside him.

The two of them in search of opponent didn't run for too long as they say a demonic beast who was lying on the floor beside a bog boulder, the demonic beast looked like rat its two front tooth was big like it can bite anything into two be it rocks or a human.

The rat opened its eyes as it felt the undulation of the energy on its surroundings, it stood up and its 2 meters body towered above both Mada and Rayious.

But the two didn't stopped they didn't even slow down at all, rather they increased their speed. Rayious burst with astonishing speed and reached the giant demonic rat that was in front of them and opened his jaw and bit down the rat.

He didn't completely chomp the rat and took a chunk of its flesh, what he did was he bit the rat on its shoulder and flew to the air and with the motion of his head he flung the giant demonic rat into the air before smashing his tail into it like a whip.

The tail of Rayious hit the abdomen of the giant demonic rat wailed in pain and started flailing in the air in an attempt to get a hit to Rayious. But sadly the giant demonic rat wasn't able to do anything and could only crashed down the ground and become a bloody paste.

After doing all that Rayious didn't even turn his head and looked at the giant demonic rat that was in the ground crashed into a bloody pulp by the impact. He quickly move forward to follow Mada who had long went ahead to look for someone to fight with.

Flying for a couple seconds he heard a loud crash, the rock that was on his right was destroyed and something came flying into his direction like a cannon ball. The cannon ball like thing went pass him and continued its flight until it crashed into one more boulder.

The dust settled and what showed up was Mada with some debris on his body. Rayious looked at him with gloating eyes just like how Mada looked at him previously he then looked at the direction where Mada came from and what he saw was a big hunk of a rock clump together and formed a humanoid like creature.

The humanoid like creature looked intimidating, but what made Rayious completely baffled was that the humanoid like rock creature was not alone there were many of these guys about 20 or so.

He then looked at Mada who had longed stood from the debris of the destroyed boulder, what Rayious saw was the face serious and piercing eyes of Mada. He floated to Mada's side "What are these guys? They seemed a little troublesome."

"Earth Golem, they have the strength of an early stage Earthen realm cultivator but their defensive capabilities are very hard." Mada's eyes surge with the intent to fight "Hey, big bro come help me with these guys, father told me many things when I was a kid and he said that this guys will fetch money if we bring them back to sell"

Rayious gave a hearty laughed "Kuku, come on you piece of shit let your father I teach you some lesson."
