Chapter 9

As Mada continued his 'training' another 6 days have unknowingly pass, in this 4 days he had traverse a total of 437 mile and only needed a little more for him to reach Purple cloud City. He improved significantly as he continued this training of his, in the past he thought he would need 8 – 10 days before he can reach the Purple Cloud City.

His improvements where terrifying, but all of the improvements that he had was all based in the hard work he putted in the unconventional training he was doing. The 4 days he spent running on full speed and only stopping when he absolutely needed to like when he felt the hunger and sleepiness but beside that 90% of what he did on his way home was run and run till he reached his limits.

This process made him feel dead tired but as a result of pushing his body to the limits the improvements was even more than what he expected his endurance was enhance and the energy inside his body became stronger by a little bit, but even though it was only a little it was still good as the training for improving energy was very hard and difficult and mostly need a long time to reach what Mada had gained in this training.

This training was hard but effective and any Mortal Realm cultivator would be jealous of his improvements and would do anything to know how he improve that fast. But if even others got to know hi way of training they would all be dejected, because the training Mada was doing was practically suicide.

It had to be known that Mortal Realm cultivators although stronger than ordinary humans still have limits on their bodies, meaning they still feel tired and if overworked can cause more harm than benefits and if any Mortal realm cultivators did what he was doing for 'training' they will most likely die from exhaustion.

But Mada was different from normal Mortal Realm cultivators as his body was stronger than normal from being refined by the 'Origin Force' technique on the past years he started cultivating so even if the improvements is immense no one else in the Mortal Realms can do anything this crazy as what Mada was doing for training.

Mada then stopped from his running and went to a somewhat quiet side of the road and sat cross-legged there to recuperate his use up energy.

He had been running for a while now and already use up the energy inside his body and even though he was about to reached the city causing him to be extremely excited on the inside.

After seating on the ground quietly for a couple of hours he was now fully recovered and once again started to move towards the direction of the Purple Cloud City.

Mada sprinted at full speed for 10 minutes and finally saw the silhouette of the Purple Cloud City and as he looked at the City in front of him like being injected with adrenaline and his speed began to increased and sprinted towards the City.

He run at full speed and couldn't helped but feel the excitement inside his body as he was about to go home after 3 months, he run pass the city guards but both of the City guards didn't even saw his shadow and only felt a gust of wind blew past them.

The Purple Cloud City was a city with thin energy concentration making it an unsuitable place for cultivators to grow so there weren't any sect in the City, and even if there were strong people in the City they were all mostly at the middle stages of the Earthen realm.

Mada was making his way towards where the manor of his family was built in.

Mada saw the manor Mada felt excitement in his heart and happiness he stopped his running and started walking slowly towards the direction of the manor, as he walked towards the manor and saw the familiar faces since he was a child.

The maids, the gardeners, and the others that was hired by his family was there.

Mada was happy to see this familiar faces after a long time of not seeing them. When the others also saw Mada they also had a looked of happiness flashed in their faces and greeted him.

"Young Master you are back."

"Young Master Mada good to see you once again how was the Green Leaf Mountains?"

"It was fine I have gain valuable experience while I was there fighting demonic beasts." Mada was happy hearing all those questions as it signifies their worry and care for him, and as he was laughing and enjoying himself with the others a gentle voice sounded out from behind him.

The voice was very gentle but to Mada it was like storm that was brewing, Mada started to turn around to see the person who spoke but he did it very slowly as seemed to be reluctant to turn around.

Mada slowly turned around and once he turned around he saw a lady wearing an elegant clothes the lady was very beautiful just like a fairy but the smile in her face was very alluring but to Mada it seemed scary for some reason.

The people around Mada bowed respectfully to the lady.

"Mother I have returned." Mada regained his composure and immediately said those words he knew his mother was a worrywart, and Mada being away for 1 month longer than planned was really pushing his mother.

Angelica looked at him with the smile still on her face and spoke very slowly "So you still know how to go home now child?'

Mada heard this and immediately answered "Of course my beautiful mother have been worried about me and after thinking about you my great mother I rush from the mountain just to see you again."

Mada was showering Angelica with beautiful words he was he looked like a merchant in the street on a busy day trying to sell his merchandise to person.

Angelica heard Mada and the smile on her face slowly started to vanish and once it vanished she spoke once more "You BRAT if that was the case you wouldn't be in the mountain longer than what was promised you think that because of those flowery words I will forgive your actions?"

Mada heard what Angelica have said and a looked of helplessness was then plastered on his face and pleaded her mother "Mother please don't say that I really did miss you, in fact I have running for days when I realized that I have stayed longer in the mountain."

Mada was currently pleading his case he was sure that his mother was angry at this point and anything that he said might not worked but he still tried.

Angelica who was currently fuming with anger was about to say something but she stop when a man and a little girl came from behind her.

Mada looked at the man walking towards them and like a man seeing a ray of string of hope in the abyss he became happy and run towards the man and bowed "Father I haven returned."

Mada was bowing front of Suma and once Suma saw what he was doing he immediately knew what Mada was doing so he laughed aloud "You have improve it seems like you have been working hard, you have reach the late stages of Mortal realm already? That is good you have done great and it look like the energy is about to reach the peak of the late stages truly good."

Suma was showering Mada with praises as he kept nodding his head in satisfaction. Angelica saw this and immediately knew what they are doing but she still couldn't but smile when he heard Mada was already in the middle stages of the Mortal realm.

"Big brother is awesome he already reach the late stages of the Mortal realm." The little girl on Suma's side earlier was now in front of Mada her eyes was shining like the stars making her already cute face cuter.

Mada heard his sister praising him and couldn't helped but raise his head with pride as he answered head "Of course, your brother is amazing I have been TRAINING really HARD in the mountains after all."

Mada spoke to Ling-Ling with pride but he didn't forgot to emphasize the words 'training' and his 'hard work' so Angelica could hear him.

Angelica heard him and considering his improvements and seeing how her son and daughter getting along the anger inside her heart started to dissipate so she spoke once more "Okay that is enough I know what you are doing."

Mada and Suma heard Angelica and smiled mischievously by the side Angelica didn't bother anymore and continued to speak "Go now you must be tired go and rest now if you are hungru have someone cook for you."

Mada didn't hasitate to obey his mother's word and with Ling-ling they disappeared from there and started heading towards the kitchen.

Angelica and Suma was standing side by side right now and also started to go and went to the study room. They reached the door of the study room and entered.

When they entered they were greeted by a person inside, this person was a man and had a handsome countenance on his face this man was the man who have been looking after Mada in the shadows Mu.

Suma smiled at him and spoke "Good job Mu, you have done a great job of protecting him."

"It was nothing I actually enjoyed and the young master is actually really interesting and while I was watching him I got to watch some good show." Mu answered him in a somewhat excited voice as he recalled what happened in the mountains.

"Seems like Mada really did some great things this time while he was training to be praised by you." Suma was surprised by what Mu said he had known him for a very long even before he and Angelica went to Purple Cloud City for reasons 12 years ago, he knew Mu was not the type of person to praise someone easily so he couldn't helped but asked curiously.

Mu who was seating in the corner didn't spoke a word and the room became quiet, then a voice rang out it wasn't Mu's but Angelica "You let him fought with a level 2 demonic beasts? Are you insane?"

Mu didn't say a word when he was asked by Suma but Angelica and Suma for some unknown reason came to know the story, this was inconceivable unless those people who were communicating were those cultivators who have reached a certain level of strength and had the legendary spiritual sense or other known as divine senses.

This spiritual sense was acquired when the cultivator have reached the spirit realm, and Suma, Angelica, and Mu who lived inside the Purple Cloud City where the energy concentration was not that high existed makes one wonder who they really are and what level they are in their cultivation,

Angelica was angered by the information she had receive from Mu, and Mu who was strong and had reach the spirit realm and even transcended that level was scared.

Mu was strong but when he heard Angelica being angry he was also scared just like Mada earlier so he started to explain himself "Please spare me I only did that to let him experienced a tough fight, and you know the improvements he made after that was tremendous. Hey boss help me on this one I didn't do anything wrong right?"

Mu tried to explain and looked at Suma also trying to find salvation from Angelica's wrath, but once he turned to Suma he saw him pondering about something.

"The black man in the shadows that you killed yesterday where is the corpse now?" Suma asked and when Mu and Angelica heard him they both also became serious.

"You already know I buried him right?" Mu answered him

"Checked the corpse, if I am correct it must be them once more so we must be sure about this if not it will be troublesome once more. And one more thing issue a command to everyone on the Manor we will leave if my hunched is correct so everyone must be prepared."

Suma suddenly ordered one thing after the other and when Mu heard this he immediately moved to complete the orders.

Angelica who was by the side looked at Suma and spoke "Sorry this is my fault."

Suma looked at her and tried to console her "It is fine I am also at fault here."
