31 Dolly and Lu Ke

Being stormed by the rapid inquiries of these old men and women made Dolly's head spin causing her to have a headache to what to do, as her head continued to hurt an idea suddenly sprung inside her head.

She grabbed the bell that was on her desk and used it to grab the attention of the old men and women that was on the verge of fighting who to buy the Earth Golem body parts.

"My apologies dear guests but as the person that the Mercenary Mada of the Phoenix Dragon Mercenary group put in charge for the selling of the Earth Golems I will handle it with the utmost fairness and would not entertain anyone else in advance.

"In order for us to all be satisfied with the way this transaction proceeds without any kind of grievances I will suggest that we make it an auction, we will be handling tomorrow as we need to prepare for the time being for the information of the time and location we will post it in the City board and the mission board to make sure that all of you will get to know where at the same time.

"If we do it this way, everyone will be able to prepare to make the purchase. That will be all for today we still need to make the preparations so I will ask everyone to get out for the time being." Dolly respectfully guided the guests out of the [Mercenary Guild] and the moment she did a sigh of relief escape her mouth.

[I didn't think that this matter would blow this way, I thought that it will be a rather easy task but who would've thought that all of these old people will rush here to buy the things that young master Mada brought with him.]

Dolly felt her mind and body was already tired and that was only the time she spent dealing with those old men she still had to do what she told those people earlier and that thing was to hold the auction that she had told them earlier making her head hurt even more.

Dolly tried to regain the composure inside her head and inhaled air to calm her mind she then took the papers that was on her table and started to walked out of the [Mercenary Guild] and made her towards the north of the City.

Dolly was an intelligent person if not she wouldn't have been able to take care of the matter that happened earlier in the [Mercenary Guild] without offending anyone, at worse she was only a person whose personality was weak when put into some kind of pressure.

She was now on her way towards one of the auction house that the [Mercenary Guild] was rather close with, and coincidentally this place was also known as the biggest auction house in the whole Sunlight City the [Thousand Lotus Manor].

The [Thousand Lotus Manor] have conducted many business with the [Mercenary Guild] and because of these business transactions they have done all these years they have formed a somewhat strong connection with one another.

Inside one of the office in the [Thousand Lotus Manor] Dolly sat on one of the chairs inside the room and across her was a middle age man who had a smile plastered across his face. This middle age man was the manager of the [Thousand Lotus Manor] in the Sunlight City.

This man was Lu Ke he was the one that had been managing this branch for 20 years and was also a good friend of Dolly after an incident that happened when Lu Ke almost died on the side of the street because of an assassination attempt in the past.

And he almost died at that time but thankfully Dolly who had just happened to pass by, because of her timely rescue Lu Ke was able to survive that assassination.

Lu Ke took a sip of the tea that was on his hands and looked at his friend that was in front of him with a smile as he spoke "Junior Sister Dolly what brings you here does it have something to do with business or more accurately the Earth Golem that are on the hands of Mercenary Guild?"

Dolly put down the tea that was on her hand spoke to Lu Ke "As expected of Brother Ke you already knw about the matter of the Earth Golems."

Lu Ke gave a hearty laughed "Of course I do, it is the onl topic being talk about today and nothing else even the fight of the 2 big powers are being overshadowed by this news so how can I not know. So what do you want me to do?"

"Simple what does the Thousand Lotus Manor do best? Isn't it conducting auction and selling treasures to earn money? So do you want to do this?"

Lu Ke listened to Dolly and the moment he heard hold an auction his eyes lit up from happiness "Alright Junior Sister, you know me that I am not able to reject any of your request and seeing the business that you brought in mu doorsteps is a big one I will gladly take up the offer. So, how long is our preparation? 2 weeks or a week?"

Dolly look at him and gave him a smile, Lu Ke felt the shivering cold on his spine when he saw the smile that Dolly gave him because he knew what that meant as he ask "Is it 5 days from now?"

Dolly didn't gave him any answer and only smiled at him Lu Ke asked again "3 days of times?"

Dolly laughed "Of course it's not 3 days from now." Dolly pause and Lu Ke heave a sigh of relief then he heard Dolly speak "It's not 3 days from now that is too long those old fogies of the sect and the reclusive ones are going to rip me apart from anger if I don't do it tomorrow."

"WHAT? Tomorrow how can the preparation time be so little we need to do many things to hold an auction like advertising and such how can we just hold it tomorrow without any prior warning?"

Lu Ke was a business man and he knew how much he could make with the Earth Golem if put into an auction, even though he could only get a portion of the sales he would still earn money if the item being auctioned are top notch and Earth Golem being a rarity in the Sunlight City and the neighboring Cities the earnings he could get would be enormous if given enough time to prepare.

"Don't worry broth Ke, I know what your concern is and I will tell you now the advertisement is already done, I announce the matter of the auction will happen tomorrow in the Mercenary Guild and many mercenaries heard me at that time do you think that there won't one others who heard it?"

Dolly stood up and walked into the window and smiled as she continued "There are many mercenaries that is privately hired by various power outside the City so they can gather information regarding matters that might affect them in the future so don't you think that the matter of the Earth Golem being a rare product not reach these people?"

Lu Ke was enlightened he understood what Dolly was talking about [The Earth Golem is such a rare item that can only be obtained in the Mist Valley so how can those people hired by those powers not give them this information, this Earth Golem is going to be a big thing.]

Seeing Lu Ke have already understood the main point Dolly took out a piece of paper that was on her bosom and passed it on to Lu Ke. Lu Ke looked at the piece of paper and started reading the content of it and looked at Dolly as he asked "Junior Sister what is this?"

"Things to be bought, believe that you would be able to get it right? The medicinal plants in that piece of paper is something that we must get today do you think that 5 level 1 spirit stone is enough?"

"Hmmm, I think it is purchasable at that amount we only need 4 spirit stones to get all of this except for the blood ginseng, the blood ginseng have not appeared in the market for quite some time now as it is being guarded by a Red Vine Python in the black marsh so not many people go there to collect some."

"That is fine, how about Red River Lotus? Do you have that in your stock?"

"Of course we do the Red River Lotus is only a common medicine so we have it here, but Junior Sister what are all these medicines for? Are you hurt or sick why don't I make the Alchmist and the doctors of the Thousand Lotus Manor look into you if you need."

Dolly shook her head and explained "Not, it's not for me the person who brought the Earth Golems is the one who made me buy it for him with the reward money, it seems like he have an injured companion."

"Is that so?" Lu Ke gave a nod then asked "Is it true that the one who brought the Earth Golems in the City is young and is it really true that he is an Earthen realm practitioner already?"

Dolly chuckled "Yes, that kid is so young that he even looked like he have not even reach the age of 18 yet, and regarding your question of him being an Earthen realm or not let me ask you brother Ke do you think he can access a mission like that if he doesn't have that strength?."

Lu Ke blushed but he didn't say anything as he knew that he was truly acting rather ignorant of the matter "But what about the thing that the people say that he has a Dragon with him? Is that true?"

Dolly nodded her head "That is also true and even though the Dragon with him is not that big or strong it is still a dragon and it is also capable of speech but nothing more other than that I was not able to feel anything from him even when he spoke with me."

"I see." Lu Ke didn't ask any more questions and called out someone from outside the room as he gave the orders "Get me the medicinal plants that is on this paper and regarding the blood ginseng in there just get a red river lotus for me."

The man accepted the piece of paper that was on Lu Ke's hand as he bowed his head to take his leave, after a couple minutes the man came back into the room with different kind of medicines on hand with him.

Lu Ke checked the medicines one by one in order to see if anything in there are missing or if there were any problems with the medicinal plants. He took 3 minutes when he checked the Medicines but after that he pass the medicines to Dolly and accepted the payment of 4 spirit stones from her.

Finishing her business in the [Thousand Lotus Manor] Dolly took her leave and went back to the Mercenary guild. The moment she reach the mercenary guild she went into her desk as she went onto the second floor of the [Mercenary Guild] where the rooms are being rented by various Mercenaries.

Walking down the hall of the second floor she made her way towards the end of the second floor and stopped in front of the room that was in the very last row of the second floor. She knocked on the door "This is Dolly the medicines that you have ordered earlier are with me."

Silence nobody answered her and nobody went out to checked on her, thinking that she was not heard by the people inside she was about to knockd once more when she heard a crashed inside the room followed by some screams.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"
