SLAUGHTER HOUSE.

He asked the most important question.

For him it doesn't matter if he arrived at the time after disaster struck his world or if he arrived only few years back and looking at room he assume he should be in the time after apocalypse. He don't even bother about heaven's will, for him she saved his life and bring him back to the past. Sure she is mighty and powerful ruler of heaven but right now she is damaged according to her and can't help him.

[I don't know. I was activated at the time you were dying and only saw we are traveling back in time and I can't read your memories, find out your self.]

She replied but she sounds angry, like she's mad at something. Thomas didn't realise it and ignore that and tried to get up he barely managed that then walk towards the control panel near the glass window. He is Barely able to maintain balance and reached the panel with much efforts.

If he has really arrive in past and in time as he assumed, then he can change lot of things, but he is not that stupid to tell anybody that he came from future and this world will be destroyed soon or something like that. He will do his best to bring the outcome he most desirable possible for to save as many people as he can.

He wish even if he arrived after apocalypse starts he can manage everything. Thinking up to this point he felt revealed a bit but little did he know that his dream will shatter soon.

He arrived at control panel and is trying to access it. These control panels in the academy are very special. They're for quick access to everything in the related to academy as well as listing entries and exit sat any building like log book and other things and like schedules, events, classes, lecture, daily stuff date and time is no exception, it can even access to main networking systems. And it also comman to find everywhere and anywhere in every cities of the world, it's used world wide.

Accessing the panel he quickly check the date, not bothering with anything else, as his eyes fell upon date and he could not help but astonished when he saw the date.

'More than a month before alliance day to come!!! I arrived all the way back!!, holy mother.....'

He grew excited because in his past everything started a week before alliance day. Start of apocalypse, animals started to mutating, sudden change in environment, deadly virus spread out like a plague.

But suddenly he remembered something and his thoughts stops in the middle and excitement went off of his face. completely gone, nowhere to be found like he eat something horrible. His face become ugly.

'If alliance day is after 40-45 days. It means I'm in the.....' thinking upto that he checked his body again.

First he checked his body for to find any wounds, so he didn't notice other details. But now that he checked his body again, he realized that his body look much young.

'This....this..... not good.' his face become paler and paler as he checked his body and to confirm he suddenly look at upwards to the side seeing his own transparent reflection on the glass of window touching his own face in shock. His face looks very young to him that horrified him

Then his focus shifted looking other side through the window. It's the morning 3 o'clock more or less the sky is gradually turning whitish blue.

He saw various academy buildings and vehicles parked in lines, some aircrafts are landing and taking off.

He can see these things because medical bay is at the centre of the academy and he is facing sun so he can see east side of academy properly.

Disbelief plastered all over his face and he become speechless by what he saw.

"NO....HELL NO....This is not happening...No...." he madly burst out, not want to except reality,he dwell upon it for a while.

"Even if its the day of apocalypse I can handle that but this ...." he helplessly said then, sigh.

[What was that for?]

A familiar female voice sounded in his mind. Asking for explanation why he done that a while ago.

"This place.... It's a slaughter house." He replied with frustration and anger.

[Oh! And why is that so?]

Hearing the answer she got curious and ask about reason behind his reply.

"This academy is located the centre of this continent. There is a desert biggest desert of ivone in the west. And other three sides are cover with forest. There is also a mountain range stretched from south of th academy to all the way to the northeast covering entire forest and it is the fucking tallest mountain range in the world blocking the path to east, further in North filled with ice. Technically we are in the middle of nowhere. So when the apocalypse starts animals in jungle will mutate and plants and tree will started to mutating Forests will also expand. With the environmental change the animals that are already wild will go berserk and started to rampaging this academy and other cities in the world. communication will be offline every digital base equipments will stop working and this academy only have digital equipments." Thomas explain frustratedly.

[So you faced the animals attack in the past life?]

She asked not surprising in the least.

If it is still animals hordes attacking it can be handled easily is what she thought and ask in amused manner. There are lots of weapons and ammunition here and they are not digital based. And with the help of everybody defending the academy is definitely easy task. What so difficult that he call this place slaughter house?!

"No, in my past life everything started suddenly, in a single day whole world was in chaos. Mutating plants forests and animals are second thing, most weird thing was that, the people who are dead started to came back to life, everyone was surprised by that, but these resurrected people started to bite everyone and to stop them soldiers started to shooting them but no matter how many times you shoot them, they rise up again and again like it was nothing, even severing their limbs did nothing, they feel no pain, like dead walking people and the only way to kill them is to shoot their heads and most importantly the people who were bitten by them aslo started to turn like them."

"In the past that time the a military aircraft crashed in the academy, all soldiers in it died and turn into those things and so eventually the whole academy plagued by that. Remember what I said earlier about if even it is the day of apocalypse I can handle that, because I and some cadets were in the business city for educational touring purpose."

"I knew about crash because we received distressed signal from academy that time, non of us knew the situation around the world, so we come back to find out, but it was too late. We also crashed landed in the academy and faced the horror first hand."

"Later on we managed to reach western continent and learn that all this thing started by the one thing. A virus, a bloody single virus, that causes the mutation of animals, plants and forests and change of environment and most of all, resurrection of dead people. Scientists named it 'Death virus' because of its traits, it brings back dead people and mutate animal and plants causing rapid growth."

Saying this much Thomas took breath and raise only one question.

"This academy is very strict about its rules and regulations, so tell me how will we get out of here?"
