A step closer to my ambition

"Hani get up!!! How much more do you want to sleep? Get up its already 6 a.m if you sleep like this you will be late on your first day of school." Okay, Ria, I get it but just five minutes more, please, said Hani in a sleepy voice. "Just get the hell out of the bed and get ready to go to school, get that. Don't make me repeat what I said twice. Okay, she said."

She gets up and goes to the bathroom. To her, all this is still a dream, a wonderful one. Her mind is filled with thoughts, how would this new school be? Would I be able to make any new friends, what it would feel like to go to school in Korea???

Hani is the top student of her school, she is beautiful, rich, smart, kind and loves to try out new things. Every girl in her school desires to be like her. She has a line of boys who would die to date her. Her friend circle is one of the most popular ones in the school. Despite having all these, she still lacks one thing and that one thing is all she wants. She always wanted to live a life of a high schooler in Korea. One day back there in good old days when she was in ninth grade she came across kpop through a drama called WHO ARE YOU. She started to fall for the guy in brown hair, she then surfed the internet to get more info about him and at last the result was that she started to stan him. Since that day she would always dream of going to Korea and meeting her fav idols and attending school there.

But little did she know that her 15th birthday would change her life forever. Her dream finally came true. her parents would allow her to go to Korea for her higher studies only if she ranks first in the entire country. From that day onwards she studied hard for days and nights. Finally, it was the day of her exams. She did well in all the subjects except for math, you see maths is her weak point. In the session break, she was busy catching up with her fav idol's dramas and song. With her being busy crushing over her fav idol time flew by quickly.

It was time for results to be posted this would decide whether she would go to her dream place or not. Hani picked up her phone, her thoughts were heavy, muddled. Any time from now the results would be posted on the board's official website. Her heartbeat was not in her own control. Her adrenaline was rushing through her veins as she was waiting for her result to be posted. Ahhhhhhh!!!! the results are up. Finally, the long-awaited moment comes. She enters the name of the website on chrome. She opens the website, enters her info on the site and her result pops up on the screen. Unfortunately, she could make it to the first place but secures third place in the entire country. Her result went down due to her performance in her math test.

Her dream to go to Korea lied scattered on the floor. She wanted to cry but the tears would just not come out. It was like all her efforts were wasted. She wished that the earth opens up and swallows her whole.....
