10 Clan Gathering....Tempting rewards
The journey lasted a week and half.It was pretty boring so I tried to cultivate,though because of the method of my technique I couldn't do it so casually.What I did was my perception and fire law comprehension which was really helpful as it stabilised my cultivation even further.Now I can control
my qi at maximum efficiency.I have now 37 level of the perception training.
Coming home I noticed that the majority of people are gathered in the arena of the clan.Now that I thought about it now should be the clan gathering.If I remember correctly there were some rewards to the winner of the competition.There were some rare herbs which can boost the purity of the qi.
Thinking about it made me a bit excited so I decided to fight in it.Anyway the strongest younger generation of our clan is just a dou shi.Shouldn't be any problems.
The problem is that I haven't seen Ling'er.She is probably still in the sect cultivating.The main problem is that this sect ancestor is working with hall of soul and this isn't good.But,now I am too weak to do anything so I may as well train to become much stronger.
After registering in the competition I went to see my mom.She is still the same teasing person but I can see that she is somehow sad.I didn't know why is it but I decided to not think about it.After talking for some time about the academy I went to my room.It hasn't changed except for being clean.
Settling on a fire resistant mat I started cultivating my new formula.I started with normal fire qi to see if I can manage the pain.Circulating the qi through my body I could feel that my is burning,which is unbearable but I have some experience with my last technique so I can still manage.
Now I started to use my meteor flame.It is kind of past my limits but through it I can at least temper my will even further so I kept going.After some time I stopped to the qi depletion.Feeling the changes I can say that I am at least 2 times stronger physically and my qi is circulating much better.These effects are pretty amazing.I think I should be able to fight 5 levels above me pretty easy.Good results.
Resting I started my cycle and after a few times I broke through the da dou shi 2 star.It feels great.Now I know that it would be pretty nice if I had a heavenly fire to assist me in this tempering but being greedy won't bring me any good.
After a few days the clan gathering should start.I broke through the next star so I am now a 3 star da dou shi.Well I shouldn't be arrogant but I think that such cultivation is pretty amazing at my age .Well,it doesn't matter.
The battles started.This is pretty boring but it is not that bad because I can absorb much more qi from the surroundings cause there are many people with fire dou qi cultivation so the density of the fire qi in the air is pretty decent.
Waiting for my turn I quickly ended my fight with plain physical power.It is nothing eye catching so don't think that anyone noticed that my cultivation is already at level of the elders and the clan head.Heh,I can just imagine their shocked face if they would know.
After a few battles in such way I am nearing the final stage,and more people started paying attention to me 'cause I still haven't used any skills.Now it's not like I don't know anything,I even comprehended a few dozens of sword skills just for the improvement of my sword qi,just like Li Fu Chen in the novel,and with my perception I can say that I know why he liked so much swords.
Back to the topic,I choose not to use anything because I don't want to be questioned.It would be pretty bothersome so I lying low.If needed I will just display my Fire Palm and that's about it.
Defeating my last opponent in the semi-final,which was a girl with the cultivation of the dou shi realm,I prepared for my final fight.I don't feel so pressured but mostly I am excited for the rewards.I would like some herbs to improve to the 4 tier alchemist.It would make my training so much easier.
Entering the stage what I saw has surprised me.There was a pretty girl of my age.
It was Ling'er....
