1 Start of the journey

"Has everything been prepared?" A young man in a black and white suit asked the man following behind him as he walked along a hallway filled with paintings of white men. The young man was about 1.8m and his face was handsome with black hair and black eyes. The man who was following the young man was also wearing a black and white suit; however, his wasn't as beautiful as the young man's. The man was about 1.85m and had black hair and black eyes like the young man. And likewise, the man was handsome; however, not as handsome as the young man. And as they were together, the man's handsomeness was shadowed by the young man's handsomeness.

"Yes, My Lord," the man replied as they continued walking the hallway filled with paintings.

In response to the man, the young man nodded and walked until he reached the end. Two men, in suits similar to the man, were guarding the end, which was a double door. When the two men saw the young man, they bowed and opened the doors for him. When the doors opened, the young man entered without a care.

The doors that the young man just entered was the doors to the House Chamber. There were already many people inside the chamber and all the members of the House and Senate were already sitting on their seats. As the young man entered the chamber, the temperature of the room became colder. When the doors opened, everyone looked at the doors and saw the young man entering. When they saw the young man, fear rose in their eyes as chills started to run down their backs, and everyone shut their mouth tight. If a needle were to be dropped right then, everyone would have heard it. It was that silent when they saw the young man. The Representatives and the Senators all felt goosebumps all over their bodies as sweats started to run down their face. Even when the sweat was running down their face, nobody dared to take out their handkerchief to clean their faces. When they noticed the young man walking towards the front, they all stood up and their eyes, filled with fear, were still on him.

As the young man passed the Representatives of the United States House of Representatives and the Senators, the Representatives and Senators which had seats on the pathway had their fears becoming stronger. The Speaker of the House, a man in his fifties stepped away from his podium. The fear in his eyes was the strongest out of everyone in the chamber as he knew how powerful the young man was. This young man could destroy the whole United States with just a word and knew that if the House and the Senate didn't give way to his plans, the US would be doomed to be destroyed. Even the President had been killed by the young man with just a lift of his finger while the young man smiled. Then as if nothing had happened, the President opened his eyes and kneeled before the young man. It was odd and therefore, the Speaker felt fear from the smile of the young man.

When the young man saw the Speaker giving way to him, he smiled. When the Speaker saw the smile, he smiled back. However, the smile which the Speaker gave was a forced one and he felt chills on his back. The Speaker also had sweats running down his face; however, like the others, he didn't dare take out his handkerchief.

If a person who didn't know how terrifying the young man saw the smile, they would see him as a handsome young man with a gentle smile. However, the Speaker knew how terrifying the young man was and saw that smile as the smile of the devil. And calling the young man devil wasn't even enough, his subordinates were all actual devils.

The young man took the seat of the Speaker and stared at the members of the House. Then he turned to the Speaker who hadn't left the front yet. The young man then opened his mouth and spoke in a gentle, but chilling voice.

"Mr. Speaker, please have a seat," then he paused and looked over the members of the House again and smiled. He then continued to speak, "Members of the House and the Senate, please sit down and as you are sitting, let me introduce myself. I am Zhao Tian, a humble man from a humble place."

The people below knew that the young man was anything but humble; however, nobody dared refute the young man. After they sat down, the young man opened his mouth once again and spoke in that same voice, "Today, we are here to add a few things in the Constitution. First off, I am the head of government and head of state. I am the Supreme Commander of the military. Anyone have problems so far?" The young man asked. Nobody dared to say anything. "Good," the young man replied and continued with his speech.

"The members of the Congress can do whatever they do and the same applies to the other branches of the government; however, if I dislike something later, I will change it. Also, there shall only be one Constitution and all other Constitution will be thrown out. Furthermore, the states of the United States will no longer be called states but will be provinces. The name 'United States of America' shall no longer be used and it will be called the State of North America after I take control of Canada and Mexico. Anyone have any question?" the young man spoke then asked a question as he looked at the people below him. No one answered.

"The government system will be changed to an absolute monarchy with a Constitution; however, I shall have all the powers of the government. Even though all you people are elected, you will work at the pleasure of myself. If I dislike you, you will be killed. Understand?" the young man asked. The people below the young man all nodded as they felt chills behind their backs. Now they were sure that the young man didn't give a damn about them and would kill them if they did anything wrong.

"I know you all are not mute. Why aren't you talking?" the young man asked as the temperature of the room got colder.

"Yes, we understand," the Representatives and the Senators all answered simultaneously as if they had practiced beforehand.

"That's better," the young man said. "Then, I have two things need to be done. First, prepare the army and have them stationed at the borders of Canada and Mexico. Second, get the DIA to send me the intelligence of all the countries. I want everything done before midnight today. If I don't see these things done before then, you will all be killed and so will your family," the young man listed a few things he wanted to be done and warned the Representatives and the Senators. Then he stood up and started walking towards the doors which he had entered earlier.

When the Representatives and the Senators heard the young man, they all nodded with wide eyes as they hadn't excepted for the young man to state that their families would also be killed. They knew they were powerless in front of the young man and could only get in his good side; thus, as they saw the young man leaving, they all relieved a secret sigh as they stood up. Then after the young man had left the chambers, they all fell down on their chairs as the temperature of the room gradually returned to normal. Finally, the devil had left the room; however, the fear was still there. The Speaker hurriedly told the Representatives and the Senators to work on the two things which the young man had listed and the Representatives and the Senators started to get busy as they only had until midnight to get everything down. They knew that if they failed their jobs, they would surely be killed along with their families by the young man.

When the young man left the room, the man followed three steps behind him. The two guards also followed but they were three steps behind the man. The young man continued walking until he left the Capitol building. When he got outside the building, there were rows of seven black Maserati Quattroporte. In front of a car in the middle, there two men waiting for the young man. One was holding the door while the other stood opposite him. There were also four men standing outside each of the six other Maseratis. When the 24 men saw the young man, they hurriedly left their posts and ran to form two rows of 12 men on each side. When the young man passed the men, they would take a position behind the two guards. Hierarchy was important in the clan of the young man. The man who was behind the young man was the second in command while the two guards behind the man were the third in command. The three of them had been with the young man since the beginning of his arrival to this place. The rest of the men were nothing but guards. They had no real power, in terms of rights, and their only duty was to protect the young man, even if it costed their life. Even though the young man didn't need anyone to protect him as nobody could harm him, he still had guards to downplay his opponents.

The young man walked until he reached the middle Maserati and got in without a word. The man got in the car from the other rear door and took the seat while the two guards vanished into thin air. Their task was to protect the young man from the dark. The man holding the door got into the front seat while the man standing got into the driver seat. The rest of the men took seats in the rest of the Maserati. Each Maserati had four seats including the driver; thus, it perfectly fitted the 24 men.

"Where would you like to head, My Lord?" the driver asked.

"Head to the base," the young man replied as he sat on his seat.

"Understood," the driver replied and started the car. Then the row of black Maseratis started to drive towards the base.
