17 16 - Rescue

" Has there been any news yet " A fallen angel said. This fallen angel out of all the ones present, has the highest power-level.

"No sir" One of the stronger subordinates a mid-class fallen angel replied.

He was somewhat considered to be of high status in the Grigori. His name was Kardeal a high-class fallen angel who has 3 pairs of jet black wings. With him is his squad of other fallen angel albeit lower in rank.

It is set up like this because when one becomes a high-class fallen angel you can choose to lead your own team. A squad of a high-class, 2 mid-class ,and 2 low-class fallen angels. With him being the high-class and squad leader.

Originally, Kardeal and and his group were assigned to eliminate some things that might threaten Grigori located in Kyoto. It was reported that a new group had formed and a few fallen angels had been rumored to have wanted to join.

Kardeal's job was to prevent those fallen angels from joining as they might leak some information about Grigori once they join. But as he stayed in Kyoto nothing major had happened. Or that was the case until one of the cadre had re-assigned him a mission.

Kokobiel, one of the leaders of Grigori had asked him not to capture the group as it was on his orders that the group were aiming to join the recently formed group. Kokobiel had told him that it was rumored that the new group was a terrorist organization that might bring harm to Grigori.

So he assigned a group that would infiltrate it. It just so happens that the group was those he was supposed to capture. He was at a loss until Kokobiel asked him to help as the group were only a few midc-class to low-class fallen angels.

Of course as it was requested from his leader Kardeal happily obliged. Now he was to lead his group and the original group to join the mysterious orginization. He had contacted the group but they felt that it was too easy if they just let them join.

So as to prove it, he would first show to them he was capable by taking the head of the leader of the Kyoto youkai faction. It worked well for him as he was already in Kyoto.

He also knew the weakness of Yasaka the Kyoto youkai faction leader. It was her daughter, the princess of the Kyoto youkai, Kunou. Like her mother she was also a Kyuubi no kitsune or nine tailed fox youkai.

He had ordered his men to carefully plan and kidnap the youkai princess. After many months of following the young kitsune they finally found a time where she was without a guard and kidnapped her.

Now he was waiting for Yasaka to come and surrender her life for her daughter. He also knew the risk of going against an ultimate-class being in power. He knew one thing could spell his death so he put the little kitsune in a tight leash.

Now all he needed to do was wait for the arrival of Yasaka.

" I see, then keep watch. Make sure we don't get surrounded by youkai, sure they are weaker than use but they are great in number. Also make sure to have at least 2 mid-class watching the youkai princess. That way if something could go wrong, we could just retreat by holding her hostage and threatening to kill her" He said

" Yes sir! " The mid-class fallen angel said as he left.

"~sigh, hopefully this will bear great contributions for Grigori" He said as he sighed. Even if he was branded as a traitor temporarily, for the sake of the protection of Grigori, it was all worth it.

[ With Giyu ]

He was currently in the air as he followed after Kalawarner and the tengu, Karasu-maru. He looked at the blue light that surrounded him which was his sussano' that was partially formed. Only the rib cage along with wings attatched to it for flight.

Sure he could have used his six paths sage mode cloak to fly but that was boring. That and he didn't want to reveal all his power yet. Once he enters that mode he'll have to summon a large amount of chakra which would be felt by not just the surroundings. It would be probably be felt around the world, along with gaining not only the attention of all the supernatural, but also the two dragon gods.

He would rather not be in contact with them so soon.

" Giyu-sama! Kalawarer-sama! We are close to the base of the fallen angels " the tengu said as he turned to face Giyu and Kala to inform them.

Just like what Karasu-maru had mentioned, minutes later the fallen angel base had come into view.

Giyu stared at it and noticed that it was one of the abandoned shrines. The shrine in particular was the shrine of Amaterasu the Shinto godess of the sun.

" So are they all in that shrine? " Kalawarner asked

" Yes, they are. It had initially been a small team consisting of one high-ranking fallen angel, two mid-class, and two low-class. But they had managed to gain reinforcements in the form of 5 mid-class and 10 low class fallen angels" Karasu-maru said informing Kalawarner.

" Yes, he is correct. I sense twenty one people inside the abandoned shrine. One of them is no doubt the youkai princess Kunou, while the rest are fallen angels." Giyu said as he stared at the shrine bellow them.

" One high-class, 7-mid-class, and 12-low class fallen angels." Giyu said before turning to the tengu. " Are you here to only guide us or to join us with the mission?"

" I'll be assisting you with rescuing Kunou Hime-sama!! " The tengu said. As Giyu just nodded.

He alone was powerful enough to take care of them in an instant but he needed Kalawarner to get stronger also. She was almost a mid-class in power, but she said her power had stagnated. Maybe this battle could help her.

Then he looked to the tengu, Karasu-maru. Despite being a youkai he was pretty strong. A middle mid-class in power.

" I'll occupy the leader along with a few of the mid-class fallen angels. You get the rest of the remaining mid and low class fallen." Giyu said as he diappeared in a swirl of space.

...

Two mid-class fallen angels were watching a little girl with blonde hair. This was Kunou the daughter of Yasaka.

*sob * sob *" Kaa-san!" Sobbing noises echoed through the room but the fallen angels had ignored them as they were just there to stand guard.

But at the exact moment a swirl appeared above the both of them. Out with it shot out two pitch black spears which skewered both the fallen angel stomachs. They didn't know what happened to them them as they quickly fell back motionless on the ground.

(a/n: yes he can use long ranged kamui now...)

"...!" Looking at the sight in front of her the the young kitsune looked terrified. She didn't know what happened but in the next instant the two people keeping her captive had been laying on the ground motionless.

As she searched around for answers she heard a voice behind her.

" Stop crying little one. You're mother sent me to rescue you" the gentle male voice sounded off.

She was terrified as she heard the voice but soon turned into a 180 and now had an expression of happiness and relief.

" Kaa-san sent you! I knew she wasn't gonna abandon me!" She said as she cried.

Giyu only looked at this scene as he shook his head and sighed.

"~sigh, children" he muttered as Giyu was always bad with children in his past life, he never really knew how to act towards them.

" That's right she would never abandon you. Now come along, I'll take you back to your mother" He said.

Before she could even reply he used Kamui and sucked her into his dimension.

Giyu then looked back towards the two bleeding fallen angels. He sighed before walking over to them and healing them as Azazel said he wanted them captured not dead. After healing them up he opened their eyelids to cast a genjutsu that would keep them asleep for at least a day and a half.
