CH. 7 "Let's Start the Class"

"Ryu I want you to be a teacher at Totsuki Academy" this sentence was spinning around in his mind on his way back to his store. "Totsuki Academy?" whispered Ryu to himself as he was in front of his store. He shakes his head and enters the store as something was bothering him after hearing the sentence.

Ryu has been through a lot of things, staying alive for 100 years, going to others world, and now becoming a teacher at Totsuki Academy. He was delighted, but somehow something was bothering him. "What do I really want?" said Ryu lying on his bed and was preparing to sleep.

"Ding"

As he was lying on his bed the System gives him a mission. 'Helping Froese?' thought Ryu as he remembers that Froese has died after preparing God. Suddenly Ryu look at the mission, "System tell me the location." said Ryu.

[Special Location: Spirit World]

"I knew it!" said Ryu. He remembers that after the death of Froese, she went to the spirit world to do her final job. It was reviving the food that NEO has eaten. Ryu was excited about the mission, but something about today was still bothering him.

However as he was thinking, he heard. "Go". He looks around and there was nothing. Ryu walks out of his bed and prepare his things and walked to the teleportation formation as he felt that there would be an answer for him.

Toriko World

Location: Spirit World

He was now in the Spirit World and it was empty. There was no light, no spirit, and no food. He looks around and starts walking. He had walked for hours and there was nothing until he saw a small shining light.

Ryu walked toward the light and found a golden door and without hesitation, he pulled the door open. The scene in front shocked him as there is food everywhere. Many animal and ingredients that he never has seen before were there.

As Ryu was enjoying the scene, he saw a woman was walking to him. He immediately knew who the woman was, as it was Froese. "Hello," said Froese, which Ryu also greeted her. "So, you are the one that they recommend?" asked Froese. 'They?' thought Ryu. He knew no one in the Spirit World.

Forese saw that Ryu was confused and giggled. "Let's go and cook," said Froese and Ryu follow her. They arrived at a kitchen and in the kitchen, there was something on the table. Ryu looks at the ingredient, "ANOTHER!" shouted Ryu as he recognized the ingredient.

Froese was smiling and waited for Ryu to calm down. She explained that it was her job to cook ANOTHER. As ANOTHER has a special to revive the vital of ingredient, Appetite Demon, and food. At first, Ryu was confused about this as Froese has the abilities to prepare ANOTHER, as she was the first person to complete cooking the WORLD FULL COURSE.

However, she explained that the ANOTHER that she was preparing is special. It has been alive from the early stage of planet-cooking, it was the oldest ANOTHER in the world. Ryu understands as it takes over a thousand years to finish preparing and cooking ANOTHER and agrees in helping Froese.

Time Skip - 60,000 years in Spirit World

Ryu and Froese have finished removing the scale from ANOTHER. The process would be longer if both Froese and Ryu didn't get advice from the food spirit. As they are preparing to cook ANOTHER, "Is something bothering you?" asked Froese as she saw that Ryu was not smiling. Ryu looks at Froese and sighed, "Yeah, I don't know my purpose of cooking." said Ryu.

After a thousand years of cooking in the spirit world, he found that there was no passion and goal for him in cooking as he already learns everything during his time in the Great Rifts. Froese looked at Ryu and smile, "I know your purpose." said Froese, which caused Ryu to look at her. "And you already know it," said Froese and went back to cooking.

Time Skip - 700,000 years in the spirit world

Ryu and Froese have finished cooking ANOTHER and they were tired from the process of cooking. It would take longer as this is the oldest ANOTHER, so the preparing take longer time than normal ANOTHER in the world. Suddenly hundred and thousand of ANOTHER burst out of ANOTHER completely surround them in the bright light.

As Ryu was surrounded in bright light, he realized something. He has realized his purpose in cooking and smile. After a few minutes, the light was gone, Froese was looking at Ryu who was smiling. "Have you found your purpose?" asked Froese and Ryu nodded and walk through the golden door. Ryu departed from the spirit world back to the Shokugeki World as fast as possible.

Shokugeki No Souma World

Location: Store

Ryu has returned from the Spirit World and he was no back in his store and went out of the store. After a few minutes, he was in front of the Nakiri Mansion. He enters the Mansion and went to Senzaemon Office as he was still in the Academy.

Time Skip - 1 hour

It has been an hour and Senzaemon has arrived back at his mansion. He went into his office and found that Ryu was there. "What is it?" asked Senzaemon as he didn't expect Ryu to come to him. "I agree," said Ryu. "What?" asked Senzaemon as he didn't know what Ryu was talking about. Ryu sighed after seeing Senzaemon not getting what he was talking about.

"I agree to be a teacher," said Ryu and sipped his tea. Senzaemon was smiling after hearing Ryu and went toward him. "However, there is some condition," said Ryu. After agreeing with the condition, Ryu went back to his store.

"System Reward," said Ryu.

"Ding"

"System uses the Lucky Draw Ticket," said Ryu.

[Host has got a Devil Fruit]

Ryu sits still on his bed after seeing the message. 'Devil Fruit?' "Why?" said Ryu. A Devil Fruit is the last thing he wants, because of the taste. As a Chef, he dislikes the bad taste and Devil Fruit is one of them.

Ryu ignores the Devil Fruit and opens the recipe he received from the mission. He opens the recipe and he was surprised at the recipe, as it was the recipe of Ramen Ichiraku. He looks at the recipe and ignores the other reward as the recipe was so precious to him.

Ryu slowly put the recipe into the inventory as it was precious and he opens another reward. It was the Secret of Gourmet World. Ryu slowly read and found many things that he didn't know about the Gourmet World. He puts everything back into the inventory and went to bed.

Time Skip - Next Week

Location: Totsuki Academy

"Souma-fun, have you heard that there is a new class going on today?" asked Megumi as they walk to the class. After a few secs, they arrived at the room and saw something which surprised them. In the room was Akira, Ryo, Ryoko, Ikumi, Hisako, Alice, Takumi, and Miyoko.

After a few minutes after Souma and Megumi has sits in the room and they were waiting for the teacher. Suddenly the door causing the whole class to look at the door. However, they were surprised and shocked after seeing the person who walks into the room.

"Now, Let's start the class".
