31 The Others Part 2

250 years ago on yet another continent

Once Wang Mei arrived on her assigned continent she was extremely surprised at this opportunity, after all even the emperor Wang Qian would sell his firstborn child in order to acquire it, but she was quick to recover.

Her approach to the task was to immediately contact the Heavenly Will in order to create a new cultivation path instead of contacting a nearby tribe as Wang Wei and Wan Chao did.

She spent years upon years in deep meditation communicating with the Heavenly Will before she succeeded in formulating a beginning of a new cultivation system. She named it the path of Elementalization.

She always felt that she was close to the wind, because of her Heaven-ranked spiritual root the wind was always dancing around her as if it was her best friend in the world.

Sometimes when she was alone she could feel as if the wind around her was some kind of mysterious entity as if it was sentient.

In fact during her childhood whenever she was alone she would speak to the wind as if it was a real person, it would even reply by sometimes gently blowing into her face.

Therefore the reason she chose this path was that she wanted to truly be able to understand the wind and become closer to it.

The first step of the path of Elementalization was to transform the body of the cultivator into their chosen element that they have the required spiritual root for.

However, she discovered several disadvantages to this path that she created, the one she cared the most about was the fact that in order to cultivate this path the cultivator needs to endure the torture of destroying their flesh and replacing it with the Attribute Qi under their total control.

Wang Mei was very reluctant to cultivate this way due to not having a strong enough will to endure it for such a long time, but with the help of the Heavenly Will, she managed to almost eliminate this problem entirely.

The way she thought of was to break her Golden-Core and use the high-quality Qi that is contained inside of it to transform her body into an elemental version almost instantly, but that still wouldn't solve the problem of having to endure the pain.

It is just that the pain would last much shorter than it otherwise would but that wasn't the only advantage this method gave, it also eliminated one other problem she identified with her cultivation path.

That being that cultivating in this way wouldn't grant the cultivator any more powers or abilities until they converted their entire body into Attribute Qi, and using this method would allow an instantaneous transformation of the body without the long period of tortuous transformation.

After that, she actually set out to prepare herself mentally for the pain she was about to face, in not only breaking her Golden-Core but also transforming her body, in this process, she could even feel the wind dancing around her as if responding to her emotions.

She spent a long time in meditation before she felt ready to attempt to transform her body. As soon as she broke open her Golden-Core, a silver-colored Qi spilled out, she then forcefully controlled that Qi and transformed it into the Wind Attribute which she then used to transform her body.

The entire transformation took barely an instant, her entire body exploded in a flash of blood and gore, and then from the bloody remains, a body was constructed from Wind Attribute Qi.

It looked similar to her previous body, except that it was made from blue-colored swirling air. Once she finished the transformation it took her some time in order to learn how to control her new body.

She discovered that she could become completely invisible by merging with the surrounding air, fly extremely quickly and even control the Wind Attribute Qi that made up her entire body to transform herself into a giant tornado that could devastate entire regions.

Nonetheless, after finishing the exploration of her new powers she decided to finally find the tribe that the Dao-Ancestor assigned to her, once she found them however she was shocked to find out that they actually managed to invent cultivation while she was creating her cultivation system.

The reason she was surprised was that the Ancestor said that creating a cultivation system was extremely difficult and she even experienced how difficult it was because even with the help of the Heavenly Will it took her a very very long time.

Therefore she immediately dispersed her body into the wind, thus becoming invisible, and went on to explore the tribe with her spiritual sense in order to find out how they managed to even start a cultivation path.

And even though some of the humans were a little suspicious of the Wind Attribute Qi appearing in the area they wrote it off as someone using a Wind Attribute technique.

It took her a few days to learn their language even with the help of the Heavenly Will, nonetheless, once she did so she succeeded in learning about the situation in the tribe.

They were currently just beginning to form villages with the help of the new cultivators being able to protect them from beasts.

The cultivation system they were practicing was extremely similar to the Qi cultivation system of the Wang Celestial realm but they still only managed to enter the most basic Qi-Gathering stage as it only required sensing and absorbing Qi from the environment.

But now they had no idea how to move forward, which was perfect for Wang Mei's situation as she only has to show them a way forward.

However, what she was most interested in was how they even managed to create even the first stage of Qi-Cultivation and after listening to the tribe for a few more hours she had her answer.

She found out that it was in fact a young man that invented this cultivation system a few decades ago and has since been acting as a leader to the entire tribe.

When Wang Mei found out about him she immediately went on to find him...
