30 The Others Part 1

Wang Wei wasn't surprised to find out that the anger and resentment that he had during his life was completely gone, no it wasn't right to say that it was gone it was more like it was still there however it was very distant.

And he was really glad about this new development because it meant that he was one step closer to being able to leave behind all worldly matters and achieving nirvana.

After seeing the changes that happened to his soul, he got up from the futon and went ahead to see what his disciples did while he was gone...

--------------------------------------------

Meanwhile in another continent...

Wang Chao was sitting on a throne within a giant palace while two trembling servants were fanning him. He was contemplating all of his experiences that occurred ever since he came to this world.

After Wang Chao arrived on this continent, he was very confused as to how to continue but he quickly decided that finding the tribe that was assigned to him was a priority.

With him possessing enhanced senses due to his cultivation at the Blood-Exchange realm, he quickly located them however he encountered a similar situation that Wang Wei did, that being that a demonic beast at the peak of the Golden-Core realm enslaved the tribe.

Wang Chao also managed to librate the tribe however it took him a very long time to actually manage to kill the beast as even though he could contend with Golden-Core realm human cultivators he was no match against a demonic beast at the peak of the Golden-Core realm.

The demonic beast noticed that he was much weaker than it and therefore it didn't get scared and run away as the demonic snake did with Wang Wei.

The only reason he managed to beat it, in the end, was because it couldn't actually kill him so he managed to make it use up all of its Qi fighting him.

Once he killed the demonic beast he didn't take a passive approach as Wang Wei did. Instead, he immediately started governing the people, not as a deity but in a more direct way as an emperor.

Wang Chao was uniquely suitable for such a role because of the education that he received from the Wang family. All high-ranking Wang Family members are expected to eventually go ahead into the world and become officials of the Wang Dynasty.

Wang Dynasty officials were sent to different continents of the realm in order to monitor and lead the sector they were assigned to.

Therefore as Wang Chao was a very high-ranking member of the Wang family being the nephew of the emperor he also received such an education on the principles of the ruling.

Since that was the case, Wang Chao didn't have any problems governing the tribe, in fact, he was so good at it that the tribe advanced much much quicker compared to Wang Wei's and it barely took them 10 years to build a medieval city.

However there was a problem when they wanted to expand further, Wang Chao didn't want to reveal the secret of his strength until he managed to advance further so that his authority wasn't threatened.

But once he wanted to start developing his cultivation path with the Heavenly Wills aid, he discovered that it was extremely difficult.

That situation wasn't at all helped by the fact that since he didn't want to give out the way to cultivate he was the one that had to kill all the demonic beasts that wanted to come and bother the city interrupting his meditation.

Since that was the case it took him an extremely long time to come up with a cultivation path after the Blood-Exchange realm. It took him 200 years to create even the next stage and in the meantime, the tribe's initial gratefulness for his protection slowly transitioned into resentment.

After all, everybody is afraid of death, and seeing someone that doesn't age will of course give rise to some resentment, however, Wang Chao handled that with overwhelming strength as none of these people can cultivate yet.

The cultivation path Wang Chao came up with the aid of the Heavenly Will after his long long seclusion was that after his bone marrow and blood were tempered in the Blood-Exchange realm he would control the new Qi infused blood and use it to open up the 72 spirit orifices inside the human body.

Wang Chao was informed of the existence of the spirit orifices by the Heavenly Will and what they are is basically the reflection of the Universe inside the human body.

He still didn't have a high enough cultivation to understand the significance of what he just discovered however he could guess that opening up those spirit orifices would make him closer to the Universe and therefore closer to the Great Dao.

And even though it took him way longer than Wang Wei to come up with the cultivation technique, his unique physique allowed him to cultivate extremely quickly in body cultivation.

When he opened up the first spirit orifice he discovered that a dazzling star appeared within his body. He also obtained the ability to see Qi all around him, and even absorb it into his blood to further increase the Qi concentration within it.

However, the most powerful ability he obtained with the opening of the spirit orifice was that the strength of his body increased a ridiculous amount, in fact when he punched out he could even destroy a forest.

After breaking through Wang Chao was finally strong enough to be able to secure his power even if the tribesmen cultivated and therefore he immediately gave the people the way to cultivate their bodies.

That managed to pacify the situation for a while and he continued to cultivate peacefully with the newly established military protecting the city from the demonic beasts.

However, what he didn't expect was for the military to stage a coup after one of them cultivated to the Blood-Exchange realm. Wang Chao thought that the help he provided them would make them grateful but the nature of human beings was always that of greed.

So not even after 10 years of him cultivating in peace, they launched a coup against him, Wang Chao was so enraged that he went on a rampage and killed all of those who were implicated in the coup.

Which he was disappointed to see that that group included half of the military and even a lot of the mortal citizens. Only after executing them all did he calm down and sit on his throne to contemplate his next action.
