33 Changes in the Sect

Wang Wei flew out from the pagoda now faster than ever with his breakthrough and spread out his gigantic spirit sense to cover the entire mountain range.

With this, he was able to see all of the changes his disciples brought to the sect grounds, and he was glad to see that Shin Chi finished planting the herb garden.

It was pretty decent in size and Wang Wei estimated that it should be able to support about 1000 disciples training in the Body Refinement realm with medicinal baths.

Nonetheless, Wang Wei was the most excited to see a golden halo emanating from behind the head of his disciple Huang Xue which indicated that he successfully broke through and became an Arhat.

Huang Xue was sitting in front of the pagoda while in front of him were a dozen people that were unfamiliar to Wang Wei, Huang Xue was preaching about Buddhism and the Soul Cleansing realm.

Wang Wei was thrilled to see that while he was breaking through not only did Huang Xue breakthrough too but he also accepted a dozen disciples into the Sect and he even used his newfound control over Qi to build residences for the disciples on the mountain.

The mountain now looked truly looked like a place you could call a Sect, with arrays, herb gardens, and disciples.

Just as Wang Wei was planning on flying down to talk to him, Huang Xue suddenly turned around and looked directly at Wang Wei flying above the pagoda and quickly flew up to meet him.

Wang Wei was surprised at Huang Xue's ability to fly, after all the only reason he could fly while in the first stage of the Soul Cleansing realm was because of his movement technique so he was curious to find out how Huang Xue was able to do it.

When he looked at how the Qi was acting around Huang Xue using his spiritual sense he finally had his answer.

Huang Xue was using his spirit sense in order to imprint arrays on the soles of his feet that propelled him upwards and then he controlled a minimal amount of Qi in order to stabilize himself in the air.

"Huang Xue pays his respect to master!" Huang Xue said in an oddly calm tone as if he was free from all of the worries in the world, Wang Wei knew that this was the effect of his cleansed soul.

"Let's go meet with Shin Chi, we don't want to exclude him do we." Wang Wei said and flew to the location where his spirit sense detected Shin Chi while they flew the new Sect disciples were staring at them in awe.

Once both of them landed in the clearing nearby the herb gardens they could see Shin Chi instructing some more disciples on how to tend to the garden, while they were attentively listening.

As soon as Shin Chi saw them landing nearby he quickly ran towards Wang Wei, and said while bowing "Shin Chi pays respects to master and Arhat senior brother!".

Wang Wei looked him over with his spirit sense and he could see that Qi was infused within his blood which meant that he successfully reached the peak of Body Refinement and was close to entering the Soul-Cleansing realm.

"I am proud of the progress you both managed to achieve and the tasks you managed to compete." Wang Wei said with a giant smile threatening to break out on his face, while both Huang Xue and Shin Chi had content smiles on their faces.

He turned to Huang Xue and said "However I have to ask if you managed to complete the task of finding the spirit stone mine?"

"Yes master I have found a spirit stone mine near the Sect and after investigating using my spiritual sense I have determined that that spirit stone mine if mined correctly could last the Sect centuries!" Huang Xue replied in a calm tone with a smile on his face.

"That's fantastic news, however, in order to mine the spirit stones we need to find a way to motivate the disciples to spend time in the mines doing back-breaking labor, after all, who would want to do that without the proper motivation."

"Fortunately, I will implement a system that is used even in the Buddhist Sect in the Heavens. The Sect will operate on something called the merit system. So we would implement something called merits, which would basically be like the currency used inside the Sect."

"So if disciples want to use the herbs that the Sect provides or use the Buddhist cultivation arrays they would need to purchase them using merits. And the way they accumulate merits is by completing Sect task, be it mining in the mines or tending to the herb garden." once they heard that Wang Wei's disciples had a look of realization on their face.

"So Huang Xue you will be in charge of implementing this system, since I see that you are becoming quite proficient in the art of arrays you could even use them to make the whole system way more efficient." Wang Wei finished.

Huang Xue then said, "Yes master I shall do that immediately!", Wang Wei simply nodded and turned to Shin Chi and said, "Did you succeed in sensing your soul or do you need my assistance?"

Shin Chi replied with pride apparent on his face "I have successfully sensed my soul, but I would ask if master is able to engrave the array for cultivation in the Soul Cleansing realm for my use."

In reply to that Wang Wei simply nodded and then said "In a few years I expect to have a few visitors from other Sects in the Heavens and I hope that by then you are able to become an Arhat. And I expect for the number of disciples to reach at least 500, that is my task for you"

"Until then I shall return to the Heavens, however, I will return in a few decades so don't become lazy in my absence."
