We left in the carriage to the courthouse. The carriage ride to Boston was longer than normal because Elizabeth's parental home was in a different town. It was about an hour ride back to Boston. I took the time to spend with my new wife.

Elizabeth's POV

As we exited the carriage, I waited for Benj to come down first and lead me off. We were greeted by our families and friends. We all came inside the dining area and had a modest meal of ham, mashed butternut squash, boiled cabbage, corn bread and sack posset. Benjamin's sister, Hannah made little cakes. After eating, the men gathered in the family parlor and told riddles and talked about future plans. I helped clean up from dinner. My mother, my mother-in-law and Anna, took me to our new room above the shop.

I walked into the rooms and I was shocked. There was a living area with a couch, a couple chairs and a fire place. There were two rooms off the living area that were bedrooms. Anna and Mary came to see it because Jacob had built it for us. I was very surprised how nice it came out. The small room did not have any furniture, but I assumed it was for a nursery.

They took me to the larger room. I entered and was astonished. It was covered in lit candles. There was a tray of snack foods, wine, cheese, and a rose. On the rose was a small envelope with "For my dear wife's eyes only." I opened the envelope, and it had a piece of lace with a note.

"My dearest Eliza,

If you are wondering what the lace is for, well, it is a surprise. I want to let you know that I love you and since you had a little taste on the way here. I am sure you will anticipate our night. Hurry and get ready! I am coming up soon! With love, Benj.

I rushed to put the note back into the envelope with a flush of embarrassment on my face because I dropped the lace, and my mother picked it up. She said, "I will not ask what this is for since it is your private business, but I do have something to give to you." She handed me a box with a white bow.

I opened the box and saw the special nightgown made of silk. It was cut low by the bust and had lace bodice. The skit flowed down to the floor. I changed into it with the help of my mother. I asked her to untie my corset. Once I was done changing, they left and I waited for Benjamin to come in. I walked over to the couch and decided to lounge on it.

A few minutes later, he walked in and his jaw dropped to the floor. I walked up to me, and he said, "Wow! You are gorgeous. I love this gown, but I want to see you out of it." He wasted no time and removed the gown. He removed all of his clothing with my help to make it faster. He stood in front of me in his naked glory, and I swallowed hard.
