1 Chapter 1: The Awakening
400 years after the meteorite hit planet earth, the world started to change and an era of supernatural beings came into existence.
My name is James Isaac and today is the day when I also changed. Current year is 2421 and today is my 18th birthday, the time when I step into adulthood. Like every other person of my age, I was also happily celebrating my 18th birthday with my family when I suddenly fainted.
I woke up, looked at mobile phone and found out 3 days have passed since I was celebrating my birthday but before thinking of anything else i found inexplicable information and knowledge into my head. Those messy things gradually cleared up and I found out the things in my head as if it was from some sort of fantasy world.
After sorting out the information in my head I gradually had a clear idea of what was going on.
I have also awakened my supernatural power, but unlike other people my power is integrated into my being as a collective knowledge in the universe. Means I have awakened a system like we are used to read in novels and watch in cartoons animations and manga.
The system that I have in me is similar to a guidance system that helps me become stronger and nothing else. I get to unlock knowledge and information from the system by using experience points that I can earn by doing various everyday plus extraordinary tasks that have yet to be discovered.
The system user interface in my head is like this.

This is shown in the first page of interface, when I click on the question mark in my mind beside experience points it shows how to earn experience as I explained earlier by doing various tasks for example cooking, cleaning, farming, drawing, reading, writing, hunting, ….... etc basically everything we do in everyday life that can gain experience to humans will give me experience points.
For exchange points, to earn it I basically have to sacrifice energy contained things to system for example, food, fuel, batteries, monster cores, energy stones, ores, .... etc there are lots of energy rich things that can be sacrificed.
For cultivation, it requires me to practice an energy oriented technique, currently not to sure. Well that's all I learned from first system interface, there is an arrow pointing to second interface page, let's look at it.
On the second interface page, it shows me two shopping malls. First one is information mall and second one is items mall.
After selecting Information mall, what appeared before me was a whole range of unlimited quantities of books and pages, there is a search option on top and an experience points section which shows current experience points to 0. So it basically costs experience points to purchase information.
Next I returned and clicked on to the items mall which shows similar layout as information mall but here we use exchange points to purchase items. The items ranges from raw forms of things up to finished products . there are also many things unrecognizable but luckily there is a (I) information sign besides each item to let me know their names and uses.
Now that I have basically learned everything I need to currently know about the system, let's to some experiencing first hand. For experience points I can try watching a short video and reading an article on my computer.
So I got up from my bed turned on my computer and read a latest chapter of my favourite novel, THE NINE GODDESS, after finished reading super fast I checked my experience points and found it to be Increased by 2.7 points. After reading the other 8 chapters newly released in the past 3 days, (I have to say that the author is very diligent and always uploads 2 to 3 online chapters daily), and watching my favorite anime episode released today I once again went on to check my experience points and this time it has increased up to 27 points.
I also sacrificed a packet of 4 small cylindrical cell batteries and gained exchange points 40. So this is how I see it in my head.

I was so happy that I forgot to mention that I have also gotten 2 new skills. The help shows that reading skills improves my reading qualities and allows me to read more proficiently and point out errors in according to the things I already know. example (if I did not know that a full stop ends a sentence beforehand I will not be able to detect if a writer forgot to put a full stop at the end of the sentence if they did not put it).
The plus sign besides the skill allows me to upgrade skills level using experience points.
Well I have wasted enough time learning of my supernatural power let's go out now, but before that I had decided not to tell the matter of me awakening my supernatural powers to my parents. Firstly to avoid them of worrying about me. Secondly is that I don't want to stand out of the ordinary even though now the world is 20% supernatural people and 80% ordinary people since the meteorite struck earth 400 years ago.
