34 CHAPTER-35: A SMALL PARTY

Several months passed, Dressrosa had started to become a whole new place. The new castle at the top of King's Plateau was also completed making the kingdom more majestic. All the building were also newly constructed in a proper manner with numerous flags of God Hunter stood tall on every streets.

Some pirates also requested to follow and join the

forces of God Hunter pirates which were accepted after personally checked by Ian. They were made completely loyal to him through brainwashing combining with his eye's illusions. Ian didn't want future betrayal by his comrades so he made them completely loyal. Ian had been creating a power system for the God Hunter Fleets and decided to pick the commanders after some time when Dressrosa was fully constructed.

Currently some of their newly joined subordinates were:

Puggy (He came to Dressrosa to challenge Ian and became one of Ian's follower after defeated.)

Mad Treasure (He was caught by Sabo while he was visiting Raijin island, brought back to Dressrosa and brainwashed him making him loyal to Ian)

Giolla (She was an officer of Donquixote pirates but later was made to be under Ian's group)

Caesar Clown (He was taken in after the incident of Punk Hazard by Ian's group and became loyal)

Honey Queen (She was kidnapped by Ian's group)

General Gasparde (He wanted to join Ian's group but got brainwashed by Ian and became loyal)

Orlumbus who came to challenge Ian and pledged loyalty after defeated.

Chinjao who came following Ian's group since last incident and became Ian's subordinate.

Brownbeard, etc...

These are some of the main peoples who joined Dressrosa and became Ian's subordinates. Beside them about 10,000 of pirates had started following the God Hunter pirates.

Inside the palace, Ian was preparing some devil fruits to hand over to some of his chosen followers

Ian had collected several devil fruits from various places brought by Sabo, Augur and Laffitte who had been sailing around with several pirates under them.

The door of the room opened slowly and Robin came in holding a cup of coffee.

Ian: "Well thanks! Robin.."

"You are very welcome.. you've worked hard Captain.." Robin said while massaging Ian's shoulder.

"Oh! I came here to inform you that the Big Mom pirates are here. They want to see you.."

"Well, that old woman's action is pretty fast. I wonder what they are here for.. Lets go and check."

Ian and Robin went towards their guest room and saw two familiar figures inside the room.

They were Charlotte Perospero, the first son and Charlotte Katakuri, the second son of Charlotte family. Ian came forward and greeted them,

"Well! Why is the Big Mom pirates coming in my territory?"

Both of them looked towards Ian and checked him silently.

"Kukuku.. its indeed the man recognised as one of the Emperor. I can't fully see your strength.."

Perospero started talking licking his long tongue.

Katakuri: "Well, Ian-sama .. we are sent by Mama to invite you to her birthday party which is five months from now. And.."

"And?" Ian had a guess to what he would say.

" Mama also wanted to form an alliance with your family through a marriage proposal."

Sure enough, Ian had already predicted this. And that Charlotte Linlin was quite thoughtful. She didn't suggest the marriage to stay under her but as a form of Alliance between them. Ian already guessed about it when he saw two top officials of Big Mom came to visit him.

Ian: " And who do you want to make the proposal with?"

"Its with the 18th daughter of our Charlotte family, Charlotte Galette.."

'Galette!' Ian's eyes slightly brighten hearing her name. He had quite like Galette and Smoothie among the daughters of Linlin. So he didn't mind taking her. As for the marriage he didn't mind as it was not a contract one.

And besides, he didn't want to conflict with the four Emperors for now including Red-Haired Shanks who also became the Fifth Emperor last month. Maybe after 3-4 years, he didn't mind crushing them but right now even though he was strong, his peoples are not. They might be stronger but when going an all out war, Ian will still hold some disadvantage.

"Very well then, I will accept the proposal.. Now, I want you two to join with us tonight. We will be holding a party for the completion of the palace."

"Kukuku.. Then its a happy corporation. We will be troubling you then.."

"Happy corporation!"

Soon, Ian along with the two super tall guests headed towards the main hall where the party will be held tonight.

On the sea near Dressrosa, a huge pirate ship having a Jolly Roger with three scars was currently confronting with the huge Black pearl. Sabo, Augur and Laffitte were returning from inspecting the sea around Dressrosa when they met with the Red-Haired pirates.

Sabo was standing at the front of 'Black pearl' facing against Shanks standing at the front of 'Red Force'.

Sabo: "Hey.. hey.. Whats' another Emperor doing here in our territory?"

Shanks: "Haha.. Ian's kids are all really terrible. We don't mean no harm. We came to see an old friend."

Augur: "When did you meet with our Captain?"

"Just many years back when he was just a travellor in East Blue.. I really didn't doubt him reaching this far.. haha!"

"Well you can meet the Captain.. but before that how about a spar? I really want to test the strength of an Emperor.." Sabo said and started releasing his pressure. Even though he didn't have Conqueror Haki, his killing pressure was enough to supress the enemies.

"Hey, really an interesting kid.." Shanks slightly smiled and also started getting ready.

The sea became chaltic but at that moment, both group saw a ship approaching them and instantly became shocked.

It was a huge ship similar to 'Mobi Dick' hanging the flag of Whitebeard pirates.

"Ora.. what have we have here? Yo kid! We meet again.." Marco shouted towards them standing on the top along with Vista.

Sabo: "What are you guys doing here? Corn head! I forbid you to enter our territory.. hehe!"

Marco: "Ahm! Its really a rude kid.. Well, I heard that you'll be inaugurating your new palace. So, Pops sent us to congratulate you.. heh!"

Laffitte: "Huh,huh.. I'm sure that old man must've finished the wines.."

Augur: "Sabo! Do your test later, lets return back along with them. Its already afternoon.."

"Sigh! Fine.. Oy! You bastards! Welcome to our sea.."

Shanks: "Haha.. its really a funny kid, lets follow them!"

Marco: "Lets us go guys!"

Soon the three big ships started sailing towards Dressrosa. Now, the small party was about to turn into a major event.

At Marineford: Inside Navy HQ..

Another gathering was being held inside the office in discussion regarding Ian. The peoples present here were Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Three Admirals Aokiji, Kizaru and Akainu, Vice Admirals Garp and Tsuru.

Sengoku: "It has just reported that two top officials of Big Mom have arrived at Dressrosa.."

Tsuru: "That woman has already started making contact with that kid.. seems like they are making friendly alliance."

Garp: "Cruch! crunch... wahaha, I didn't expect her to be interested in that kid too.."

"Huh! Its really troublesome.. in just a year, two Emperors have suddenly jumped out."

At that time, a marine came inside in hurry breathing heavily..

"I-its bad! Fleet Admiral Sengoku! Shanks was reported to be seen landing in Dressrosa. And.."

"What! Shanks also?" Sengoku interrupted the report of the marine in a shocking voice.

"Calm down! Sengoku.. the report hasn't finish yet. You! Continue.. crunch!" Garp said very calmly constantly eating.

"Ah! And.. Marco and Vista of the Whitebeard were also seen in Dressrosa."

"Ffuu! What!" This time, Garp and the others present in the room all exclaimed in unison.

Kizaru: "Its terrible.. pirates of the four Emperors are meeting together? That kid is really scary.."

Aokiji: "This is the most unexpected event.."

Akainu: "It's really a bad omen.."

Tsuru: "That Ian kid is really dangerous.. he is now a person connected to the three Emperors.."

"This is really bad!"

The marine HQ was soon in chaos..

In Dressrosa: Inside the palace,

The huge main hall was decorated very colourfully.

There were several peoples inside the hall. Most of them were the officials of Ian's groups.

Perospero: "Kukuku.. I didn't expect to meet two more Emperor forces here.."

Marco: "Well.. what are you guys doing here?"

Katakuri: "Its personal matter.. and what are you doing here?"

"Its personal matter.. hehe!"

The situation again started to get tense. This had been going on for a while.

"You guys! Please act friendly.. this place in not for fighting.." Albedo came forward and immediately silenced them. They couldn't understand why but they always felt chills on their spines seeing Albedo's smile.

"Sister Viola! It looks like Ian-sama is a great man.. so many strong people are here to congratulate him.." Rebecca who was wearing a blue skirt looked at Ian who was wearing a white suit talking happily with Shanks on the side.

She finally reunited with his father due to the help of Ian's group, so she was very grateful to him.

Viola: "Well, I also know that he was strong but didn't expect to be an Emperor. He's really a great man.." She said looking at Ian with a light blush.

At first she didn't agree with Ian being the new ruler but after spending some time with Ian, she finally understood his character and now even started admiring him.

Ian also appointed her as the representative of the people of Dressrosa who directly speak to him.

Like that, the party continued till late night. After that the groups of the three Emperors were provided with several rooms to stay for the night.

Inside a room,

*Catcha..

"Hello! Mama.. we have completed the job.."

"Well hows' that kid? And did he agree on the proposal?"

"He's really an Emperor, a very strong one.. and the proposal was also accepted, Mama.."

"Mamamama! Thats good.. first an alliance and after some years I will subdue them all.."

"Thats right Mama, we will slowly take them... kukukuku!"

"Good, don't mess up.. Perospero.."

The den den mushi finally closed its eyes. This was the plan of Big Mom. She also don't want to fight with Ian so decided to first form a marriage alliance. After that she would try to slowly subdue them. But how could she know that Ian was thinking the same. After he get what he wants, he will crush them all. Like this the play between two devils begun.

The next morning,

Perospero and Katakuri gave two devil fruits as a gift. Ian also sent them golds and sweets that Albedo made as a gift for their corporation. After that, the Big Mom pirates left.

Marco's group also gave them a devil fruit that they found while sailing. They knew that Ian was collecting devil fruits so they decided to give him. While leaving, they also took some special wines, which was their main plan, and left happily.

It was also the same for Shanks, another devil fruit.

Currently the 'Black Pearl' and 'Red Force' were slowly distancing from each other.

Shanks: "Well then I think its time to leave now.."

Ian: "Have a good journey then.."

The two smiled at each other and their pressure started increasing. They badly wanted to test each other's strength. The strong auras soon conflicted making the sky to start splitting. The sea also started becoming chaotic.

Shanks slowly unsheathed his sword 'Gryphon' and smiled slightly..

"You know what.. I changed my mind. I want to test our strength right now."

"Chuckle! Well thats bad, you said it sooner than me.." Ian also chuckled taking out his sword 'God Eater' and became ready to attack.

Suddenly both of them hit the deck and jumped forward making the air torn apart.

*Clang! Buzz..

The two swords collided and directly splited the sea into half. The clouds above were all blown away by the shockwave.. even the two ship were blown back several distance.

Both of them suddenly retreated back while sending their best sword energy.

Shanks: "World splitter!"

Ian: "Realm Breaker!"

*Swosh! Swosh!

A red and a black two huge swords energy flew out and collided making the whole space twist. It even created a vortex which started sucking the sea water and finally the blades splited into four and flew away making a huge cross cut on the sea.

Both of them looked at each other in shock..

Ian didn't expect Shanks to be so strong, even though Ian's swordsmanship was middle level, his energy release was quite strong. The most he shocked about Shanks was his Haki level.

On the other side, Shanks was extremely shocked by the strength of Ian. He heard that Ian's ability was strong but didn't expect his sword power to reach this level.

" Really a monster! I wonder how strong he will get after few years.." Shanks muttered.

Ian: "Chuckle! That was amazing.. "

Shanks: "Haha.. you're really strong. I enjoy the time.. lets hope we meet again, Ian!"

"Well.. see you then, Shanks!"

Both ships slowly went their own way and finally disappeared to the horizon. But one thing they dont know was that the place where they fought will later be known as the splitting sea. The sea current there, didn't go the same direction but collided with its other creating a long split line on the sea.
